Jay is always so patient with my random drink orders and Lola makes the drinks perfectly. The dream team. Thx Better Buzz!

I am a college student coming in for a quick study session and this gracious branch of Better Buzz gave me an almond croissant for free for my studying as well as free access for the bathroom and wifi. Very nice people! The store is also very clean and spacious I would definitely recommend. read more

Great service. Super busy but in and out in no time. Drinks are yummy and food is actually delicious too. Thanks for the recommendations!

I have always enjoyed Better Buzz and how great they treat their customers, however I tried the Poway location for the first time this morning and I was surprised to have not received the same great experience. I had ordered a drink with some new modifiers on the app before arriving at the location, and after picking up my drink i could immediately tell that something was off about it. It seems as though they forgot they forgot the milk entirely when I subbed for oat milk. I politely brought up to the worker that the drink seemed off and maybe they had forgotten the milk, but I was told that it was made exactly how I had requested. I understand that they get busy in the mornings, and I wasn't asking for an entirely new beverage. All that I would've appreciated was maybe a little more milk or even just taking the time to look into it with me. I am not knocking Better Buzz or the Poway location by any means, just a poor experience! read more

The sandwiches are no good Very disappointing, nothing spectacular for the price I'm surprised there was a line read more

My wife and I came in to get a coffee and we wanted something to eat. We always get the açaí bowl. We noticed that they had a new flavor, the chocolate açaí protein bowl. The team was saying that it was good. We decided to try it out without the chocolate chips. Wow, it was so yummy. I love how the almond butter was on the bottom. Next time I know to ask for extra chopped almonds and almond butter on top. Thank you team Poway. read more

Tony is the best! From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcome and taken care of. You can tell he really takes pride in his work -- professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He goes above and beyond to make sure you leave happy every single time. I've been to plenty of places before, but no one matches Tony's attention to detail and great energy. If you're looking for top-notch service with a personal touch, this is the spot -- Tony is your guy! read more

I love Better Buzz so I was happy when I found out they were opening up closer to me. I went the week they opened and...it wasn't the best. They definitely had some service/personnel kinks that still needed to be worked out. It was to the point where I would rather drive farther to a different location. Nearly three months later, I went in to give it another shot. Everything that was a problem the first time seems to have been taken care of and now I don't have to drive to Mira Mesa for my buzz, haha. read more

Tried this location for the first time after it opened and not impressed. Whoever made the avocado toast apparently thinks the avocados come out of their paycheck cause what the heck, super stingy. Every other location has loaded it up, not this one though. read more

First of all, this is the cleanest and cutest location I've been to thus far. Secondly, every single worker there was so kind and helpful to me. My drink was amazing and my açaí bowl was delicious! Shoutout to Lola and Jay! This was by far one of the best experiences I've had at this coffee shop in a while. The workers all were patient, respectful, and cheerful. We got the ube cookie, almond croissant, and a scone which were all good. Legend has it if you're a good customer they might throw in some free pastries . As for drinks, we got the mocha buzz and two matcha lattes. All were wonderful. Was excited to try this place, ordered their famous "best drink ever" and was given what tasted like watery coffee. Not impressed at all I don't even think I received the correct order but it was too late once I drove off. I also ordered their turkey pesto sandwich, one tiny piece of turkey and some mayo. No pesto at all. What a joke for $10. read more

ordered 3 pastries and a drink! There were 4 people behind the counter and it seemed to be taking a while! Two people came in after me and when the lady got her order first (2 drinks and 2 pastries) I asked the girl where mine was and she said it's coming! Then the guy got his order again before me and I told her I was before they were and she replied we're short staffed! That comment had nothing to do with giving drinks out of order! Only my second time coming here annd may stay at starbucks! Bad customer service! read more

Good food and great drinks! Never dissatisfied when coming here. Consistency is huge for me and the service definitely stays consistent.

So glad we have a Better Buzz in Poway now!!!! I have already been multiple times and usually I expect the first few drinks to be ok, but every drink has been made right to my liking :) Customer service has been great each time!! I usually don't write reviews, but I just have to mention how the employees here have been so friendly and welcoming every time I visit. The drive-thru is pretty fast and efficient! read more

AMAZING STAFF! This was my very first visit to this location, and I absolutely loved everything about my experience. The staff was all smiles and super helpful with recommendations. The new girl (Ashley)at the register suggested the Chili Crunch Wrap, and I'll definitely be back for that again! I was also impressed when she told me I could sign up for rewards and even get credit for my purchase that day. Totally worth it--and such a great incentive to come back. And I can't forget about the perfect Vanilla Latte they made me. Between the great service, delicious food, and friendly atmosphere, I can confidently say I'll be visiting this location often! read more

Tony was so welcoming and kind. He helped me make my coffee order decisions, which is so nice! Great service!!

The cafe is airy and spacious with ample seating. The staff are very friendly and helpful here (but not in an artificial, formulaic way like the way Starbucks baristas are nowadays). I like that you can ask to omit or reduce the sweetness level of flavored drinks. read more
