Super bummed. I love Better Buzz. I normally go to San Marcos one, but since this one opened down the way from work I was excited to have more opportunities to go! The Best Drink was barely warm (I arrived 2 mins after reported ready time) and so watered down. I would have never guessed it's the drink I've had countless other times. I ordered an Apple Cinnamon muffin and got a zucchini walnut muffin?! The lady at register was barely engaged, seemed as though she would rather be anywhere else. Asked twice which muffin and still got it wrong. It was dead in there too so can't blame it on being busy. Needless to say I will not return. Too disappointed to spend part of my lunch hour going there again. read more

Adding another review here for Katelyn (blonde hair manager). She is truly an incredible person and I've always enjoyed ordering with her! She's so awesome at making sure I'm satisfied with not only my order but my trip to this store. Everyone is one of a kind! I've always enjoyed studying at this location. So clean and wonderful people! I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for some great food! Thank you everyone! read more

Amazing customer service fast and clean establishment! Favorite is the iced chai with almond milk with 2 shots for a added buzz!

Service is always great, they are super sweet. The turkey pesto, the blue razz energy and chai latte are all AMAZING. Water tastes super good for some reason. And bathrooms are always clean. read more

I usually stick to coffee at home, this was the once in a blue moon time I got coffee through the drive through. I ordered a regular iced caramel vanilla latte with almondmilk for $7.59. I knew it would be on the sweeter side, but literally the entire bottom half of the regular size cup was just straight caramel syrup, there was not even a hint of coffee after shaking it up. I unfortunately could not drink straight up the caramel syrup and it was a waste of a drink and money. Pretty disappointing! read more

So good! I love coconut. Was very happy with my drink. The cold foam coconut flavor was super refreshing

Stopped in before getting back on the road and came across this great little coffee spot. We met Jay who was so friendly and welcoming! It was our first visit there and Jay was very patient and talked us thru our options. Amelia, who made our coffee was amazing! She made my coffee perfect. It was a little too sweet at first but they were more than willing to remake it without any hesitation. As a result of all the phenomenal help and service, we purchased some additional coffee ware! Jay and Amelia, thank you for making our first visit memorable and fun! We have a new fave next time we head back! Keep up the great work! read more

Workers, Jay, Lola, and Liz are amazing and have great service! Definitely recommend to come!

Excellent food and drinks! I wish there was a location in Texas. I would definitely go again if I'm back in California! read more

this is a HORRIBLE location. if you want Better Buzz go to the other Rancho peñasquitos location I ordered my drink on two separate occasions both times I had to wait over 30 minutes for my drink and I still never got my drink and I had to come back the next day and get it. The workers are also extremely rude and they have no customer service coming from someone who works in retail. there's also no space in the parking lot so when you go you better hope there's no one in the drive-through or else you won't be able to park and get out of your car. read more

Clean and friendly staff. Keep it up Better Buzz - Poway. We love it here. The best drink ever coffee is really really good

My girlfriend and I recently came and got our usual drinks but this time we got some type of food poisoning. Not coming again.

I have to leave a 5 star review for Cindia she is literally the best barista in San Diego. I love how she makes my coffee super creamy and hot! All with a big smile on her face! Thanks cindia read more

Better Buzz Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Poway, California

Tried Better Buzz for the first time and it lived up to all the buzz! I got a nitro cold brew with cream and a breakfast sandwich, my fiancé got the Best Coffee and the breakfast wrap. Everything was tasty and service was quick despite how busy it was. We'll definitely be back! read more

Waited in drive though for a good 10-15 min. 7:04 NO CARS AHEAD OR BEHIND. Girls are busy talking and yelling being super super loud. Once we got the 2 drinks we asked for it came hot after telling we wanted a cold drink. Also, asked no caffeine in my drink because I'm highly sensitive to caffeine, still got caffeine now I'm shaking read more

Hands down the Best Buzz in town. Entire staff was amazing and welcoming. The best coffee addition to Poway.

Loved the cute stop on the way to Ramona :) Great food, great service from the barista!

I absolutely love this location! I go a few times a week and oftentimes try new drinks since they have so many great ones to choose from. I love how amazing the service is, all of the employees are so kind and welcoming. In particular, I went in today to pick up my mobile order and realized I need to buy a few gift-cards. Two employees helped me out and were exceptionally friendly, Shiloh and Rhiannon. I hope to see their friendly faces again as I left with a smile on my face. Thank you for your kindness and friendly service! You both deserve a kudos for going above and beyond today! read more

Poway is the closest location to me currently, but my experience is always poor. From being understaffed and mobile orders taking forever, to baristas not knowing how to make a regular menu item, and consistently inconsistent açaí bowls most of the time being terrible. The worst experience was recently being charged for two açai balls and the manager, having shut down the kitchen an hour early, telling me oh well after driving 15 minutes there to pick it up AND refusing to refund my money. Thankfully, the regional manager stepped in, but it was actually shocking that the general manager was so rude and so unprofessional. This location seems untrained and poorly managed which is sad because BB is my favorite! read more

Had a great experience at this location! The drive through worker Ava really made my day with her great attitude and energy!

I don't leave reviews very often, but this is the third time I literally just threw my coffee away after taking a few sips. When people order something a 1/4 sweet, it's usually because they don't like super sweet drinks right? How can a 1/4 sweet Snickerdoodle latte from here be more sweet than anything I've ever had at Starbucks? Are you guys just not paying attention and making it fully sweet every time or what? Cuz if what I got was a 1/4 sweet, what in the world would the full sweet version of it taste like?? Pure syrup? Don't think I'll waste my money here anymore. I gave it a few tries and I guess it's not possible to make a lightly sweetened drink here. read more

Great service from Emilia! I felt very welcomed and she was super friendly. Totally will come back!

I came here for the first time and it's really clean and the workers are really friendly.

When this location opened, they had the perfect amount of staff (never a wait, never mess ups). They knew how to make the drinks and make them correct. Now, the employees don't even know how to punch in the phone # you give them for your rewards. They have tried several times now to give me my buzz unblended!! The girl keeps trying to tell me it comes with ice, milk, & espresso poured on top, NOT mixed!!? The point of a buzz is to blend it! Substitutes are incorrect at times as well... so If you need a dairy-free milk, triple check that they tell you what they used. Ambiance wise, this place is cold inside, literal and figurative. The furniture is hard and there are no cozy spots. Sometimes you barely even get greeted. I come between (1-6pm) but that doesn't mean you get to just not care about service anymore because it's not morning. read more

The staff here are so fun and amazing! Really good drinks too. The music playlist is the best. Love studying here :)

The baristas are literally so sweet and they actually made my whole day!! I highly recommend coming here, and they made our food so fast too. They also made our food exactly how we wanted it! read more

Jay, Jodie, Andrew and Olivia all make THE best coffees I've ever had. They might've just opened up but they for sure know what they are doing. Customer service was 10/10 -will be back for sure! read more

Olivia prepared our drinks and Jay had amazing customer service! Everyone was very pleasant. Keep up the good work!

The service is always great at Better Buzz. They definitely take the time to help you and don't rush you or pressure you. Scott was at the drive thru and I really appreciate how he helped my sister decide what drink to get even though she kept making mistakes he was very patient and kind. I got the raspberry blonde 1/4 sweet and it was delicious. Sienna was also amazing. They had to park us because they were busy and she brought our food to us and had the biggest smile and positive attitude. I definitely recommend stopping by. read more
