My kid's school had a funding raising here last month, so I came to try their drinks for the first time. I don't usually drink coffee but I do drink tea sometimes. I saw a coconut coffee item and ordered one with decafe and my kid wanted to have a matcha latte and also avo toast and acai bowl as well...they were not cheap but everything tasted wonderful! I really recommend the coconut frap or latte if you like coconut and I also asked for less sweet and light sugar for the matcha and latte. They could be busy in th morning, so be patient! And the parking can get busy as well in the mounting, just be mindful when trying to find a spot at the parking lot. read more

Surprisingly yummy. Went here for the first time on February 21. The manager? Phenomenal. Not only were we greeted by him as soon as we walked in, but he was cleaning everywhere from the floors inside with a broom, to the outside mats, and walkways. Wow. I've personally never seen a manager take such great care of a place. The location was super clean with plenty of room to sit and best part drinks were yummy. read more

I normally get the horchata latte at other locations, but this location fell short. It's more like an americano than a latte. I looked at other pictures online and they have a stronger milk ratio than I did. For $7, you would expect to get what you ordered. A latte, not an americano. The cup lids also didn't fit properly. Every time we turned a corner in the car, the lid would leak out the side. Sticky mess. My boyfriend really liked the Best latte ever, so I'm not entirely mad. Just really bummed they missed the mark. Hoping for improvement in the future. Or maybe a different drink. read more

My first time visiting this new coffee shop, and unfortunately I have to give a one star review. I was excited to try it out because I noticed how busy it looked from the outside and assumed it must be a great spot. I started with ordering food and asked for an egg and croissant sandwich. The price was over $13, which is extremely high for a simple breakfast item. I asked if they could substitute the ham for an extra egg, but I was told I would still have to pay for the full ham and cheese sandwich plus the egg, even if the ham was removed. That felt very strange and inflexible. As for the coffee, I'm a big coffee drinker and genuinely love trying new shops. I paid almost $4 for a small regular coffee, and unfortunately it tasted very watered down. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning. The shop has a beautiful design and a nice atmosphere, but in my opinion the pricing and quality need a lot of improvement. I hope they make some positive changes since they're new to the neighborhood. read more

Super cute hip coffee shop. New and clean and really big. Lots of parking spots. I really like how there were two bathroom stalls; usually it's just one at a spot like this. The decorations are cute and they sell merchandise. Got the sugar donuts with cream inside. Very good! I like how they sell hot food as well. Next time I would like to try the sandwiches. read more

Wow! I went to the coffee shop that opened today. amazing decorations. cool merchandise, very neat & organized inside the coffee shop. there's lots of drinks to choose from. I chose that stood out to me is the hortacha latte. it tastes so good , I can taste the hortacha and everything else. When I go to some coffee shops and I picked the hortacha latte. There's no balance between latte and the flavor. but better buzz was 100/ 100 . I'm going back there again. read more

Grand Opening Day! The drive-thru line was long (as expected on opening day), but the service was excellent. I ordered a regular-sized Vanilla Bean Latte and a 3 Seed Avocado Toast -both were pretty decent. I'm guessing the Cold Brews are their thing. My total came to about $16.82, which felt a bit pricey, but hey, it's Orange County! It's nice to have something new with a large variety of options! read more

First time trying this place out and it did not disappoint. I was happy to see they have a drive thru window but since it was my first time checking it out, I decided to walk in so that I could get a better experience of the entire cafe. Staff were friendly and helped with recommendations. I got an iced banana pudding latte... it was creamy and smooth and espresso was strong. I think the banana flavor needed to come out more, but for the most part was a very delightful drink. I also decided to try two pastries- the Nutella croissant and the Kouign-amann. Both were great! Good flavor and layers. I will say though, when asked if I wanted the pastries warmed up, I was hoping for it to be more crispy but was more of a quick warm up in a microwave type of warmer instead of a toaster. I enjoyed both nevertheless and I will definitely come back! read more

It was my first time trying better buzz yesterday, I had been wanting to try it for a while but hadn't gotten around to it. Let me just say it did not disappoint! There was a promotion through the app so I decided to give it a try and place an online order, due to the promotion the line of cars was into the street so I parked and got down to pick up my drink. It was pretty busy inside too due to the promotion but my drink was still ready on time & the gentlemen at the counter was still very attentive and nice & offered me a straw when he heard me inquire about one to another customer! I absolutely love this place! Everybody is so friendly. It was very clean and I loved the ambience! Sometimes I go into places and they get the orders wrong and if you ask them to change it, they get an attitude. I could never see that happening here. They got our order right the first time, but even if they didn't, they were so nice that I know it would not have been a problem. Stopped by while waiting for an event in the area. The aesthetic is good, music was actually pretty nice mix of rock and pop. I ordered the Best Drink Ever, because how could you not with a name like that. It was alright, tasted pretty good without being overly sweet. Was it worth $6 for an americano with sweetener? No. But the most annoying part of the entire experience was the cup - every time I took a sip, a little dribbled out from the seam between the lid and cup. Straight onto my white shirt. Now, I get this is a manufacturing defect and not the fault of any employees, and the lid was on properly and firmly. After testing it over the table, it just leaked no matter what. Anyway. Overall the shop and mood is nice, drinks seem pretty overpriced for what they are, and you should probably drink without the sip lid. 4/10. read more

We love this Better Buzz. The staff greets you with a warm smile and are very patient and courteous with new customers. Even though we've come a few times, we are always trying new bakery and breakfast items. The breakfast baked goods, including the brioche or croissants on the sandwiches, are high-quality. The arugula is fresh with no signs of wilting. They have enough choices to satisfy the whole family. I'm a coffee drinker and love the "best drink ever," while the wife gets matcha and the kids can get the occasional smoothie. Customization is there too, and I get my drinks half-sweet, light ice. If you like trying a few things to eat as we do, get a few breakfast items, and they will cut them in half if you need them to. They can get busy during rush hour, so order ahead with the app. I've found that when the drive-through is long, it's better to park and pick up inside. Last thing: there's plenty of indoor seating, with a mix of high-top and regular tables. There are sometimes a few folks with laptops out, but we've never had an issue getting a place for our family to sit. read more

Sharing my lucky day customer experience. Got a free Sammie for just being here and willing to try a Trainee made Bacon-Egg -Cheese on Ciabatta. The spicy chipotle aioli added just enough "heat". Good job with the sandwich and customer engagement. OBTW I bought an Americano and 3- seed Avocado Toast earlier. A lil pricey but good flavor and was filling. I've been to a few better buzz locations and this one is okay. I was excited to visit one closer to where I live so my friend and I went. The baristas were great and the service was perfect. I ordered an avocado toast and a caramel vanilla best drink that was perfect! The only thing that felt awkward to me was inside when they had a new hire orientation and took up some of the inside seating. It felt like I was somewhere I shouldn't have been. Other than that it was a good visit with my friend! I would recommend their food and coffee and they have a great rewards system! read more

I was so excited when I drove past a few weeks ago and saw that a better buzz coffee was opening in Orange! I have been a fan since they were still only in San Diego. I decided to go on opening day. Sometimes opening day is a little bit of a mess, but this location did not disappoint! My two favorite drinks are the best drink ever (get it as is with no substitutions so you can get the full taste) and the mint infused coffee. I ordered both and they were made perfectly. I also ordered a seasonal chocolate peppermint cookie which my kiddo loved. Lastly I ordered the three seed avocado toast and it was so delicious! Seriously...skip Starbucks and their inconsistent burnt coffee and snobby attitudes. Switch to Better Buzz!!! read more

Nice little location of Chapman. The drive though seems pretty busy all the time but there is plenty of space inside. They also have an outdoor seating area. First time there I tried the "best drink ever". It was pretty good but their other coffees are better in my opinion. read more

Absolutely love this place! It has replaced Starbucks for me 100%. Their horchata latte with cinnamon cold foam and the honey lavender lattes that is seasonal are my two faves so far but everything I have had is delicious!!! Helen, one of their managers, is so kind and hospitable. She learned my name from my first few visits and greats me like an old friend. I am so grateful to have been able to go on friends and family day and experience this location! It is my third Better Buzz location and they never disappoint, my usual go-to is the conscious chocolate but this time I tried the Mocha Buzz and I was knocked off my feet it was absolutely incredible. My boyfriend grabbed the pumpkin spice latte and he couldn't get enough we ended up going the next day again and he got the same drink just raving about it! The ham and cheese croissant is always delicious and has a variety of add on options. Service was quick and very friendly faces greeted us from beginning to end. This store is incredible and is absolutely amazing. read more

I always get heavy cream lattes because they remind me of how my Grandma used to make milkshakes when I was a kid.. this just made me really upset. The eggs were cooked well, I enjoyed them with some salt and pepper. The cashier came up to us at around 45 minutes after ordering and asked us how we wanted our eggs cooked because she hadn't asked at the beginning, and my friend and I were surprised that they hadn't started until then. Overall I don't think I plan on coming back any time soon. It's pretty close to Peter's Canyon which is a great option for a post-hike meal, but there are definitely other restaurants nearby that have better service and food.

I was shocked to see that. I waited in line with maybe like two people in front of me and guess what they asked of Pliny was still available. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

On the first day, I picked up a caramel vanilla latte with almond milk for my wife as a small gesture before heading to work. She later told me the drink was far too sweet and she couldn't enjoy it. Since we're still new to the menu, I figured it might just be a matter of adjusting the order. The next morning, I went back and ordered the same drink but asked for half the sweetener. This time, it was much better--she actually enjoyed it, which confirmed that the original issue was just the balance of sweetness. I decided to share this with the manager, hoping for at least some acknowledgment or a small gesture of goodwill, especially as a new customer still learning the menu. Unfortunately, there was no recognition of the situation, no effort to make things right, and no sense that my feedback mattered. That lack of service and care left a poor impression. First impressions matter, especially for new businesses in the community trying to build loyal customers. I ordered the cereal milk latte and classic breakfast burrito, which filled me up throughout my day. Water pitchers were generously kept cool and filled, and music wasn't too loud so you can do some work. There are outlets underneath the bar table which was super cool. WiFi worked great as well. Definitely coming here again the next time I get to WFH :)

That way you can get a view of the full glory that is everyone ordering coffee. And there are like 1 trillion outlets in that corner too. Remote worker paradise. I even went to the bathroom and nothing was stolen yay! DON'T TRY THAT AT HOME KIDS! Always stay vigilant. But honestly this place give off the best safe vibes. CHECK OUT THE desk bar (is that what you call it?) in the back - outlets everywherreee (cue buzz lightyear) underneath the counter. GENIUS! Oh they have a hippie burrito with portobello mushroom and goat cheese that I SO WANT to try when I come back ahhhh OH. they grind their own coffee in the back so it honestly gets a weeeee bit crazy loud around 10:00am but doesnt last forever! My friend and I were taking a stroll and were attracted by the exterior design and name, of course. Upon walking in, I was actually taken back to Paris. The inside definitely has a Parisian vibe that is almost identical to the ambiance of many Parisian cafes! We went to an almost empty cafe on a Tuesday afternoon. The young female cashier was considerate and thoughtful, given that it was our first time. They have many options on their menu! My friend and I ordered a Greek Goddess crepe (Nutella, strawberries, banana, and honey). The portion was plentiful, and the price was average compared to other crepe establishments. As for the flavor, it was fresh and delicious! While waiting for our crepe, the shop did begin to get busy, but we still received our crepe fairly quickly (~5 minutes). I did see that they have a Wine Wednesday deal, which I will definitely be back for. Overall, everyone should stop by at least once for a crepe, a drink, or to experience one of their daily deals!

I walked in with no idea what to order, but Kayla and Michael immediately made the experience exceptional. They recommended the Honey Nut Cheerios latte, and it turned out to be one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. It tasted exactly as they described, like the sweet milk that's left in the bowl after you finish a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios. Absolutely delicious. I also had the chocolate chip cookie, which was just as outstanding. Michael and Kayla were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. Their customer service was so impressive that I actually asked if they were the owners. They took the time to explain the menu, answer my questions, and made us feel genuinely welcome. I'm not sure when we'll be back in Santa Ana, but if we are, Coffee Muse will definitely be on our list of places to visit again. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. There's a small sitting area good for about 8 people. There was one guest on laptop, so I presume they've got wi-fi to for anyone studying or working on the go. The menu hangs overhead above the register where you place your order. I was greeted, "how can I help you today?" I replied, "Dirty Vanilla Chai please, iced, w/oatmilk,16oz" As-is you're looking at $7.25 for this latte, after milk substitution and tax out the door it's $8.25. A bit steep considering the competition in DTSA. What did you order? - Dirty Vanilla Chai Latte 4/5 Stars Excellent latte, just priced a bit too high. Overall? Mid day caffeination fix compliments of Muse Coffee definitely hit the spot. Comeback kid? I would but not unless my number one recommendation is open. My family and I have enjoyed their matchas, coffees, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. I even had their cinnamon rolls for my baby shower, and they were such a hit! Their service is always so warm, welcoming, and attentive. They truly make you feel cared for from the moment you walk in. They always strive to provide the best quality experience with so much attention to detail. Whether you're stopping in for a matcha, coffee, or one of their delicious pastries, everything feels made with so much care. So happy to see them growing. Play coffee is an iconic coffee shop here that honors the history of the building and offers great coffee flavors. There is a decent amount of indoor seating here, A few different pastry options, ceremonial matcha, and a variety of latte flavors. We ordered an iced chai latte with almond milk and a "sweet latte" (aka a brown sugar latte) - both were well balanced and enjoyable. And the barista that helped us was very friendly, accommodating and patient.

Play is located in Old Town Orange off the main circle in this beautiful historic bank. It honestly feels like a pop up within the bank because the rest of the space isn't being used at all, so I really hope that changes and they actually take time to do more with the space because it feels like such a waste and kills the vibe IMO. Staff is all nice, and they move pretty quick considering how busy they tend to be. On the drinks front, I usually get their cardamom latte, which is great, but I've noticed as of late they've been underserving on their drinks which is a bummer (the shrinkflation is real I guess). They also serve some various baked goods which are fine, but not great. Overall, Play has a lot of potential to be great, but they've got a ton of stiff competition in the area. I'd say it's worth a visit, but don't go out of your way for it.
