Tried Conscious Chocolate Smoothie; should be called Banana smoothie with a hint of chocolate. The taste wasn't what was expected from its name. The smoothie was fine though, until half way when it was a bunch of chunks of crushed ice. Tasted like I was drinking a blended drinks, not a smoothie. There wasn't anything smooth or creamy about it. Location is large, plenty of space to sit. Well mentioned and easy parking.

Idk how I haven't made a review yet?! But here I am. Better buzz is taking over the world and I'm perfectly okay with it! Great drinks, great food. The Fullerton location is always convenient for me and honestly I've never had a bad experience! There was one occasion where I felt my drink was too sweet and they remade it, no questions asked. Love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating. This location is great, definitely stop by if you haven't already!

I came here with my brother on a Monday after lunch. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but then I saw the almond croissant. When I ordered, the cashier asked me if I wanted it warmed up. I said yes, and less than a minute later, I had a warm almond croissant in hand. Up close, I realized that this was my first almond croissant with slivers instead of slices. It might seem like a small difference, but these bigger pieces added a lot more texture. The croissant was also sweeter than I expected, making me think that they use extra syrup. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, and I genuinely want to come back to try the Kouign Amann. Now, you're probably wondering why I'm giving a cafe 5 stars without even drinking their coffee... they had excellent service! My brother's drink came out within 10 minutes, but the server apologized as if it had taken much longer. We tried to reassure them that it was fine, but just in case, I'll say it again... no worries!!!

Had a great experience and a super yummy drink from this Better Buzz location. It was my first time trying this chain, but the drive-thru worker was very friendly, patient, and helpful as I tried to decide on what I wanted to order. I went with the Iced Pumpkin Pie Best Drink Ever, which is an americano with vanilla and pumpkin pie cold foam. It had a great balance of espresso and pumpkin flavor and I really enjoyed it! I did get it half-sweet and felt it was still a little sweet for my tastes, so keep that in mind if you don't like your coffee super sweet. I can't speak too much on the ambience inside, but the drive thru was easy to navigate.

My most beloved better buzz that immediately became my post workout weekend treat (and a girl do deserve a treat) as soon as they opened. I like this location better than the one closer to my house because the staff here is just top notch. They always get it right. No shade but the imperial location has twice used all my rewards points and then been like "whoops I can't undo it" and its not like im going to call corporate and complain about losing my rewards but what the heck!! I also really like the outdoor seating here, the mobile pick up counter is super convenient, and the hot food and pastries have been delicious every time. And boy am I a sucker for cold foam :9 :9 :9 Also my favorite thing is to get a best drink ever. The sticker code for it is BDE. I like to peel the sticker off my drink and put it on my dog and call her the Best Dog Ever. And their pup cups come with little milk bones!

Came in with some friends for the first time. Got a nice selection of food, pastries, as well as coffee. I appreciate the coffee selection that have some options that makes it stand out from the rest of the coffee shops. Service was a bit slow, but my biggest complaint would have to be the condition of the establishment. White tickets of drink orders are scattered all at the front door and the trashcan was overflowing the entire time we were there and we sat for about 45 minutes. No one bothered to even look at the station let alone empty the trash as you can see in one of the pictures.

Looks like a fairly new location. Free standing building with plenty of seating. I was welcomed by multiple workers as I entered. Friendly. The time from order to receiving my drink was quick, almost too quick for a latte. =) The drink (plain hot latte made with whole milk) itself is solid...tasted a little watery tho. Good, but not great, coffee taste. Nice and hot. Will def return.

Daniella C.

Kevin at the register was so nice. The pumpkin spiced latte iced was good, highly recommend coming here for their seasonal drinks!

I went to the Fullerton location and it was my first at Butter Buzz. The customer service was amazing, the cashier/ barista was super friendly and sweet. All the baristas were amazing. The cafe was nice and super clean and I love that it's a menu is outside for when it's busy. I got a large Vanilla Bean ice latte with the Feta Avocado Toast it was so good. I will be back.

Jessica S.

I stopped by here on my way to a hair appointment to try something new other than Starbucks. I ordered the caramel blended drink. It was incredibly sweet (just how I like it :)). The service was pretty quick for the morning which was great. The shop itself was clean and the employees were very welcoming.

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Mint Infused Iced Coffee: 4/10 I paid for iced milk dawg. Errrrrr they deadass put a mint leaf on top of my drink and called it mint infused. Didn't taste any mint at all, just a super iced out milky latte. Service: 3/10 Money grabby af. The cashier (older dude so I think might be the owner), was nonchalant asf and gave me this weird look when I didn't order a large. He basically shooed me off after telling him my order. Also, no one calls out your order. They just leave it at the counter and you gotta check on it. Ambiance: 6/10 Plenty of tables and outlets! Came on a Sunday around 3pm and it was crowded af, but I was able to nab a table. Music is kinda loud, but I think it's a pretty decent place to study. Parking was pretty easy to find. TDLR: I would rather go to Starbucks tbh LOL. Drinks are very okay, hella fucking ice bro. Easy parking. Owner (I think) is rude and money grabby.

Best Drink Ever. Recommended by homie in SD

Valerie B.

Fairly quick service. Staff is great. Easy to park even drive thru. Carnitas egg bites.are the best for breakfast and they're big size like you would make at home. My favorite drink (I hope they keep this permanent on the menu) Coconut Macadamia best drink ever.

Cinnamon Pistachio and Banana coffee 10/10 would recommend BOTH!

My nieces and I LOVE better buzz and I bring them here every single time there with me, but today the barista in the drive thru spoke so low and did not get us the blended drink that we wanted. Then we went back to order another one and a barista named Maddie assisted us and made our drink exactly how my niece wanted it. Maddie was super helpful. Better buzz needs to hire more employees like Maddie!!! read more

Way overhyped... The drive-thru and inside wait times are long. After waiting 15 minutes to order, I ordered the horchata iced latte and a better breakfast sandwich. 19 DOLLARS. It was ridiculously overpriced but I was hoping the coffee and sandwich would at least be worth the money I spent. I was wrong. The coffee was extremely watered down and I could've gotten a better sandwich at Starbucks for half the price. I was really hoping for a better experience, but I was let down. Not planning on coming back. read more

This place never disappoints! Have to give a shoutout to Carmen though because she has amazing taste. I wanted to try something new so I asked her for a recommendation and what she recommended was perfect. Think it might just be my new favorite drink. She was super friendly to top it off and I noticed she was attentive not just to me but to other people going through the drive through ahead of me. I was so excited to bring my friend to finally try Better Buzz! We arrived around 10:30 am and it was extremely busy, but Ian was so friendly, greeting everyone that walked in! When ordering, he was also extremely helpful and knew exactly what he was doing. Both were so amazing, and I'm definitely adding the cinnamon cold foam to every drink after this! Thank you Ian! read more

Been to this place 4 times and they manage to mess up every time. People just don't read. First time the girl at the window is just handing us stuff without reading the names and tells us she just hands what's she's given. We already told her the name on the order and she proceeded to give us someone else's order. 2nd time I order a regular best drink ever and am given a large. No problem with that but again do you guys even read? 3rd time I come i get the chili Crisp breakfast and a drink. I have to wait for the food which is no problem but the girl starts to hand me 2 drinks after I was already given mine and then gives me the food. I declined the drinks cause I didn't order them but again just handing stuff without reading. Last time I came this coffee is so burnt and bad can't taste vanilla and it's full of grounds. I'm probably not coming back. read more

Started off with good service, the people were nice, the place was nice and had a lot of space. However, the coffee was not worth the price or time. Coffee wasn't great, and made my stomach hurt after. Couldn't even get halfway through the drink, overall not worth the money spent. Honestly I really wanted to like this location. It's super close to my house and it is hard to find a good coffee shop with a decent sized indoor seating area. The seating area was cute and spacious. The drinks were okay. A little too sugary, but okay. The service however, was not great. None of the workers acknowledged me when I walked in. I stood by the register for a while before someone walked over and coldly just asked what I want. They all seemed totally inconvenienced by their customers. They were all super unfriendly and just unhappy. Of course I don't expect people to always be Dutch Bros happy, but at least a little kind. I'm really bummed but I don't want to frequent a coffee shop where I don't feel welcomed at all. read more

What made the stop even better was the service behind the bar. The employee taking our order and serving the sandwich was genuinely pleasant, attentive, and accommodating, offering great recommendations that made choosing easy and the experience even smoother. The sourdough was exactly how it should be: fresh, crisp, lightly toasted and sturdy enough to hold everything together. Inside, Calabrian deviled egg salad met a perfectly jammy egg, spicy mayo and peppers for a creamy, tangy kick with just the right amount of heat. Messy? A little. Worth it? Absolutely. This was a lip-smacking, reach-for-another-bite kind of sandwich. We didn't have time to dive into the beer selection, but there were plenty of tempting options. With its business-district location, this would be an easy stop after work for a cold brew and a seriously good sandwich. Quick stop. Great service. Killer sandwich. The Devil Made Me do it.

Hello everyone, I apologize for my absence and lack of reviews, but work has taken me abroad where I believe Yelp should consider expanding... but that's a topic for another review. My daughter directed my attention to a new coffee establishment, Better Buz Coffee (BB) which she recommended I visit. If you are not familiar with me, I am quite the coffee enthusiast, which is why I find myself in the mountains of El Salvador . Upon my arrival at the Fullerton, CA location, I noticed there is plenty of parking available, leaving no reason for you not to visit... so stop making excuses and come on over. My initial impression of the coffee shop was simply amazing! It has a spacious, bright, and casual ambiance . I approached the counter to find a diverse menu of items that, if it weren't for my commitment to maintaining my figure, I would have indulged in... so don't let that deter you from trying everything. Today, I opted to sample their coffee, but since I arrived in the late afternoon during a bit of a rush, I decided not to trouble the BB staff too much, especially on my first visit. Fortunately, Alicia greeted me with a warm smile and was both knowledgeable and courteous while taking my order. I chose a drip coffee, as BB does not offer pour-overs, but that's not a drawback when it comes to getting your caffeine fix. The coffee was delivered promptly and tasted an impressive 8 out of 10. To summarize, since this is my first review, I will certainly return to BB, and next time I plan to provide a comprehensive review of the various blends they offer and see if I can persuade them to prepare a pour-over for my discerning palate. Until next time, BB, get ready for my inquiries. read more

I can't say enough good things about this coffee shop! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest welcome. The staff here truly go above and beyond--they're not just friendly, but genuinely attentive and thoughtful. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience for every customer. A special shout-out to Axel and Carmen for their excellent customer service--they were so kind, attentive, and made me feel right at home. My order was made quickly, with so much attention to detail, and they even checked in afterward to make sure I was happy with everything. That kind of service is rare these days and really stood out to me. The shop itself is cozy, inviting, and has such a comfortable vibe--it's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay a while. Between the quality coffee, the warm atmosphere, and the incredible service, this spot has definitely become one of my favorites. If you're looking for not just great coffee but also a place where you'll feel valued and cared for as a customer, this is it. I'll absolutely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know! read more

If you're looking for a place to get your caffeine fix, Better Buzz Coffee is the spot! The service is great and the staff is so friendly. The ambiance is good and gives you beach vibes. The coffee here is absolutely incredible. All the drinks are so good. Their lattes are absolutely incredible! The texture is perfectly smooth, with just the right amount of creaminess. It's not too heavy, but it has a rich, velvety feel that makes each sip feel like a little indulgence. The espresso is bold, yet balanced, and it blends seamlessly with the milk. From the very first sip, you can definitely get buzzed--it's like an instant jolt of energy, and the flavor is out of this world. I'm a huge fan of their brew coffee, especially the medium roast. The flavor is so unique and different from anything else I've tried, with a rich, smooth taste that's not too strong but still packs a punch. It's definitely my go-to spot for that perfect pick-me-up, and I can't recommend it enough if you're craving that perfect cup of coffee or any drink! read more

I don't often leave a review for a place but this Better Buzz location delivered EXCEPTIONAL hospitality during a morning rush on Memorial Day. My family and I have been going through a tough weekend jumping from hotel to hotel during this evacuation in Garden Grove. We planned to hang out at this location until it was time for our check in to the next hotel. When I arrived, I immediately was approached with a warm welcome by one of the employees and immediately took my order and made recommendations. The General Manager, Ryan, was very composed during a high velocity hour where many customers were standing and waiting for their orders. But, Ryan thanked each one and make sure they had everything needed and addressed each customer by name. Ryan is a great leader of this location and I could tell his team fully embraces their culture because despite of the high velocity everybody was working with a big smile! This was by far the BEST EXPERIENCE I've ever had in any coffee shop! Thank you again! read more

I can't say enough good things about Better Buzz Coffee in Fullerton. This is hands down my only go-to coffee shop. The location is perfect for me since it's right by my house, which makes it incredibly convenient to stop by whenever I need my caffeine fix. But what really makes this place stand out isn't just the coffee -- it's the people. Every single time I walk in, I'm greeted by some of the friendliest staff you could ever ask for. They're always welcoming, upbeat, and genuinely seem happy to be there. That kind of atmosphere makes a huge difference and keeps me coming back day after day. The coffee is consistently excellent, the service is fast, and the vibe is always positive. Whether I'm grabbing a quick drink to start my morning or stopping in for a mid-day pick-me-up, Better Buzz never disappoints. Better Buzz Coffee in Fullerton has easily become one of my favorite spots! The vibe is super welcoming, stylish, and full of energy...perfect for grabbing coffee solo, meeting up with friends, or even getting some work done. Every time I walk in, the staff is friendly and the service is quick, even when it's busy. My go-to order is their Caramel Vanilla Iced Latte, and let me tell you, it never disappoints! It's the perfect balance of rich espresso, creamy sweetness, and just the right amount of caramel and vanilla flavor. It's smooth, and refreshing. ## Yelp Review: Disappointing Service Despite Aesthetic Appeal 1/5 Stars The establishment had a clean and fancy overall appearance. However, the customer service was absolutely unacceptable. The staff member repeatedly claimed they could not understand my order, creating an unnecessarily difficult interaction. Most egregiously, the employee resorted to making racist comments, directly asking if I was Chinese and displaying blatant discriminatory behavior. The restaurant's interior design cannot compensate for the deeply unprofessional and offensive treatment I experienced. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable in any customer service setting. I strongly recommend management address these serious issues of communication and racial sensitivity among their staff. Do not recommend. read more

Better Buzz Café in Fullerton on Harbor Boulevard was a really pleasant surprise. I went there once to meet some friends, and I was very impressed. The power of Better Buzz is a curious thing Make a one man weep, make another man sing. More than a feeling that's the power of Buzz! Tougher than dark roast, rich like cream. But it might just save your life. That's the power of Better Buzz! First time you taste it, it might make you glad. Next time you taste it. It might make you want it real bad.
