The drinks here are consistent and delicious, something I could never guarantee I would get from Starbucks. I go to this location daily and while it can be very busy, it is worth it. The manager and staff are super welcoming. I get the cinnamon cream cold brew everyday but am slowly working my way through their other drinks with the free drinks from their rewards app. The iced vanilla bean latte, coconut best drink ever, and mocha buzz are yummy. In addition to coffee they have people chefing it up in the back making fresh food. The Elote Avocado toast is 10/10! The location is super cute inside with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Our Favorite Coffee Shop - Hands Down! Better Buzz has quickly become our go-to coffee spot -- we're regulars and proudly visit at least three times a week! We used to make stops at the Temecula and San Diego County locations whenever we traveled, but having one so close to our neighborhood now is truly a game-changer. For us, it's non-negotiable when we want coffee. Ryan and Jose, the managers, are absolute gems -- hardworking, kind, and always making sure things run smoothly. As self-proclaimed coffee snobs who've tried just about every coffee shop in Fullerton, Better Buzz always comes out on top. The drinks are consistently perfect -- I always get mine half sweet with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder on top, and it hits every time! The pastries are just as amazing -- the seasonal raspberry lemon loaf is a big favorite in our house (even our two-year-old can't get enough), and the food is fresh, flavorful, and totally customizable to your taste. Very hyped opening and a line out the door (although that's just three orders deep, so it's really not a long wait), so I thought why not give it a try. Unfortunately, it wasn't really worth it. I got: Best drink ever - it's an americano with their signature dairy free vanilla powder. Barista recommended 3/4 sweet. I took their word for it and... it tasted like they poured hot coffee over ice and imagined that there was flavor inside. Tbh, I don't think even full sweetness would've fixed this. My guess is they added too much water and not enough ice. Mint infused iced coffee - it has heavy cream on top. I'm lactose intolerant and there was no mention on the physical menu posted outside (attached photo for reference). They said oat would be a great substitute, so I went with that. Sadly it was also quite watery and flavorless. The place is spacious and has a nice, contemporary feel to it. Baristas are friendly and happy to answer questions, so I think those points merit a star. That said, the main draw is supposedly their drinks, and this place does not meet the mark. read more

Overall my drink was a 4/5 and it was probably due to me ordering the drink wrong. I got an ube cold brew and it was bitter. Perhaps I was supposed to ask for sweetener? I'm not sure but it was okay. This is the only reason I took a star off, but other than that the service was great and food too. The strawberry cheesecake pastry was delicious though! As a first time customer as Better Buzz Fullerton (First time customer overall though), the hospitality is quite astonishing! The service itself was overly spectacular, the drinks are amazing, the staff are superb, and the cleanliness of everything is beyond amazing. Staff will be going around the store to ensure cleanliness of the store and will be offering to clear up any trash that is on the table. Staff are very knowlegdable about all the items on the menu! I am personally not a drinker of very sweet drinks so I always ask about the sweetness levels of everything, and when I had asked about the sweetness, they mentioned that their drinks are on the sweeter side and suggested that I start off with half sweet and if that isn't sweet enough they can always add more. After getting the drink, the sweetness level was absolutely perfect! ( Drink Order: Snickerdoodle Latte). Since my first time coming, I had tried two of their food items (Order: Chill Crunch Breakfast Wrap and the Bacon Ciabatta). I personally did not really like the Bacon Ciabatta, however, I really enjoyed the Breakfast Wrap. That is definitely something I would order again! I also go the yogurt bowl, it is also quite delicious, however, I did wish they had chia seed pudding and agave. Definitely something that I think is missing from the bowls themselves. Other than that, I think everything was beyond my expectations of visiting a franchise coffee shop. This is definitely one of the coffee shops that I will be going to from now on. read more

Yay! Glad they brought his San Diego staple to Fullerton. It's so great to have an open before 7am drive thru coffee spot that's not Starbucks in the area. Staff was so friendly and well prepared for a busy opening. I didn't have to wait long. Plenty of seating inside including bar top and comfy benches with ample outlets, wifi and water dispenser. Can't wait to come back to study. Yes, the coffee and sandwhiches are overpriced, what coffee place isn't but it's better quality than Starbucks. A lot of my friends were posting and talking about this place so I decided to finally stop by and try it. We were greeted once arriving and the staff was super nice when picking items to order. Their menu is a lot so we got alittle overwhelmed. I ended up settling on the seasonal coconut matcha and their turkey pesto sandwich. My boyfriend got the chili crisp crunch wrap and their "coconut best drink ever". The area is pretty chill and a handful of people working on their laptops and hanging out. So we sat by the window and enjoyed our drinks and food. Everything came out extremely quick so that was good! My matcha kinda scared me when I picked it up though because it was that watery minty green color that you DONT want to see with matcha. I mixed it up and gave it a shot, it mostly just tasted like coconut milk and the thought of matcha. There wasn't much flavor other than that. The turkey pesto sandwich was alright :/ There also was no flavor at all so I added some hot sauce but it still wasn't very good. Honestly I'd go next door to Sprouts and get the same thing with more flavor for half the price. My boyfriend said his wrap didn't have much flavor either and was dry. His coffee wasn't bad but anything to write home about. We expected alittle more since everyone was hyping this place up like crazy and we paid $35 for our stuff. I really enjoy this place, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is nice. However, I'm now on my fourth visit, and every single time my order has been wrong. Four out of four visits, something has either been missing or incorrect. The drive‑thru in particular seems very disorganized. When I get to the window, they always ask, "That's all, correct?" even though half my order is still missing. It's frustrating because the full order should be visible on their screen. It feels like they're relying on the customer to catch their mistakes instead of checking the order themselves. I don't usually leave reviews, but this has been a consistent issue. I understand they get busy, but that shouldn't be an excuse for mistakes every single time. I just left this location. I ordered a coffee and forgot to get easy sweetness. So I told the Better Buzz worker that I forgot to order another coffee with 25% sweetness. Came here because of the hype expecting amazing coffee since the wait time was crazy and the lines were long. First visit I got the "best coffee ever" iced and it was completely basic. I only drank it cause it was paid for. 2nd visit I got the horchata latte and it was honestly nasty. It did not taste at all like an horchata latte and my fiancé mentioned it tasted like more like it could have been the Moroccan item on their menu (maybe they messed up? Idk) I asked to switch the drink and they were very accommodating and happily let me get a different drink, they suggested the vanilla bean latte which was basic to begin with but I asked for more syrup and it made it better but truthfully not enough to make me want to go back to get another one. When I got home, I tasted it and it was disgustingly sweet; Inedibly sweet ! I drove back and asked for a refund because I refuse to let them keep my money for this overpriced coffee. I was given a receipt proving the refund transaction but 6 days later there's no refund to my CC. I've spoken to Ryan the manager twice. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Better Buzz Coffee. Not only was the coffee itself (Vanilla Bean Latte) underwhelming, but the customer service made the situation much worse. The drink tasted watered down and wasn't even filled to the top for a 16oz cup. When I politely asked if they could top it off with milk, I was met with a blank, bothered look--as if my request was an inconvenience. When I got the drink back, I immediately noticed it was leaking from the lid. Sure enough, after taking a sip, the lid came off and the coffee spilled on my shirt and pants. When I asked for a new lid, the employee casually responded that their lids have been "wonky lately"--with no apology or urgency to fix the issue. I then asked if I could have the drink transferred into a larger cup to avoid another spill. Again, I was met with attitude and a sarcastic tone: "Yes, we can get you a large cup." At that point, I even asked if he was okay, since I was the one dealing with the spill and frustration. Overall, this experience was a complete disaster. Customers can tolerate mediocre products if the service is consistent and respectful--but one interaction like this is enough to lose a customer entirely.
