Great experience here...visited this fine establishment every morning during my stay in Fruita. Unusually busy due to a gravel bike race in town...sausage and verde chili breakfast burrito was the highlight...even with a little wait. Each day my caffeine intake was pleasurable here. Cute local coffee shop off the main drag in downtown Fruita. Friendly service, positive vibe and even outdoor seating. The coffee was amazing and my barista shared what was special about the coffee that were serving that day. I will definitely return as I am in this area several times each year. Can't get coffee much better than this. It's a true thick, silky brew. I judge my coffee shops based on their simple lattes and this one is legit. really great coffee!! the roast in house and the bags were relatively cheap. they have indoor seating which is limited but extensive outdoor seating so if it's a nice day, it's a great day! i will be stopping back in next time i'm on the western slope! read more

I called ahead to check on their dairy/non dairy milks and breakfast. I was greeted with an incredibly friendly person who walked me through everything. Once we got there, we saw large picnic tables outside with one filled by people. Then we went inside. So cute! We ordered our coffees and the cashier was incredible. We ordered an orange mocha, latte with oat milk and anise syrup, latte with anise syrup. Wow! Everything was absolutely delicious. The orange mocha was exactly as described - not too sweet and truly delicious. The anise syrup wasn't strong and instead added to the depth of the coffee. We will definitely be back! read more

Very cute little coffee shop in far-Western CO. Love all the outdoor dining and that they are Q+ friendly and inclusive. Wish I lived close by and could come here regularly. These folks know what they are doing! The beans that day were Ethiopia and Tanzania and the beans were really well roasted (meaning medium, not dark). I was warned that the mocha was made with dark chocolate and would not be sweet. They were correct, but the chocolate was so rich that it didn't need sweetening. My husband roasts his own coffee, but thought his cortado was amazing. We highly recommend this place if quality coffee is and it's preparation is important to you. read more

I wanted to give BestSlope another try upon my return visit to see my family. My sister frequents BestSlope at least once a week when she wants to make the hike out to Fruita. I came here years ago and wasn't impressed but ordered a Cortado with oat milk this time and it did not disappoint. It was smooth, creamy and tasted rich. The person making it knew what he or she was doing because it was perfectly made. The guy with the sparkling eyes who took my order was very friendly as well and chatted us up along with everyone else he interacted with. Adorable! Stopped here for a caffeine fix on our way out to rural Utah for a climbing trip. We still had a couple hours to go, so I needed a boost. The staff was so friendly! Asked me how my day was going, and what we were up to. They were genuinely curious about our plans, and clearly happy to make conversation. There were a couple other folks in the shop, and they had equally friendly conversations with all of them. I got a vanilla latte with oat milk, and it was smooth and delicious. Great coffee. They had a nice outdoor covered patio area- if we weren't on the road I would have enjoyed the beautiful day outside! read more

Stopped at this coffee shop in Fruita on a cross country roadtrip and we are so glad we did. The coffee and breakfast burritos were super yummy. I bought some decaf beans to go for my dad as well. The staff were all very laid back and friendly. I also loved all the outdoor seating and seeing the bicyclists come and go. Pet friendly as well which is great! read more

I was driving from Golden to St. George, needing coffee but wanting a healthy supper also. I found Bestslope Coffee co on Yelp. Their excellent rating was spot on! Cordova warmly greeted me, answered my questions, and asked about my travels etc. Awesome latte with a splash of lavender, and vanilla that they make themselves along with a yummy spinach and mushroom burrito (huge!!). Think of the most Colorado image of a coffee shop in a small town and this place would be it! Friendly staff who are having fun at their job and very well tailored drinks. Even though it was super windy today, most folks opted to sit outside in the filtered sunlight before the clouds came rolling through. So Colorado. Wifi was strong inside with enough outlets for folks to work, if that's what you needed. The pumpkin ginger cake was full of large ginger pieces but they weren't overpowering. Dirty Chai with oat milk was a nice balance of spicy and sweet. Would highly recommend! read more

Bestslope has done the best job adapting to COVID. They completely revamped the order process, allowing people to stay outside and stay distanced while ordering and waiting for their orders. Their coffees and other drinks are as good as ever. I really appreciate their efforts to re-think how they can stay in business and keep their employees and customers healthy. I'm a fan! I drove from Junction to Fruita just for some delicious BestSlope coffee and treats. Why? Their flavors rock! Their Winter Specials are delightful, especially the Orange Mocha. I ordered two, one for me now and one for me later! Judge all you want. Totally worth it. The treats are always delicious. Their chocolate cherry scone and ginger pumpkin bread were so good. Food: I ordered the mocha and it was not sweet at all. However, the staff did tell me that it wouldn't be sweet since they use dark chocolate in their mocha but I just thought there would be a hint of sweetness . Luckily, I had a pack of sweetener in my bag and after adding that, the mocha became really good. We also got a the sausage burrito and it was okay. However, after adding sriracha to it, the burrito tasted pretty good. Location: it's located in a quiet neighborhood next to the park so you can enjoy a nice walk around after getting coffee. Parking: There's plenty of parking since it's not in a busy area Customer service: staff was friendly and was wearing mask which I appreciated. Misc: The coffee shop is small and had very cute decorations so it felt very comfy sitting inside. They were playing relaxing music so it was a nice vibe. There's limited seating so if you come at a busy time, you might not be able to find seats but you could always walk around the neighborhood instead. Overall experience: I enjoyed the coffee and the shop was super cute so I'd definitely recommend you check out this place. If you're heading from Colorado to Arches, this coffee shop is a good stopping point. read more

We roast our own coffee. We use different methods of brewing, from cold brewing to pour overs to aero press. We make all our own syrups, so they are not overly sweet or chemically disgusting. All our pastries and food options are made daily from scratch, and if that's not enough, we also serve beer and wine.

The store is way too small, the parking lot is a hot mess, and the place feels old and dusty inside. Staff is hit or miss- kind of an angel or demon type situation. What a great place! they roast their own beans, they have different brew methods, cold brew, Chemex and Kalita Pour overs, French press. Aero press. They take their coffee seriously, but they are not pretentious or stuck up about it. they clearly love coffee and want to share their love of coffee with others. They do not have flavored syrups or frappachinos. They do have a nice variety of Teas. Pastry selection is small, they say they will be getting a better pastry selection in the future. The actual place has a cool feel, very open, very hip, very welcoming. they are still new and still have to work out some kinks, but if it stays as good as it is now, it will be the best coffee spot in the Grand Valley. definitely worth checking it out. read more
