Big mistake. 1) it's in the basement of an old folk's home and so it felt odd like we didn't belong, 2) it took over a half an hour to get our food, 3) some of our food was hot, some of it was warm, and some of it was cold. We were afraid to send any of it back because it could take another half hour, 4) the taste of the food ranged from mediocre at best to downright bland and awful, 5) the system for putting away your plates and trays is odd. When we had looked at photos of the menu beforehand, we thought this place would be like Kneaders. This is nothing like Kneaders. Stay far away from this place.

There's something surreal about eating a delicious biscuit breakfast sandwich at 7:00 am in the morning when its raining outside. I'm surprised I even got a photo of it before demolishing it. Now underrated co-start is the breakfast burrito. Because my back is big, I also got a chorizo breakfast burrito with green chili. Goodness gracious, that one also was a banger seriously. She had it with fruit and was happy that it wasn't the standard melon mix, it had blueberries, blackberries and grapes with only a few melon chunks. The only issue (if you're not familiar with the area) is parking, they share a too small lot with several other businesses. I mentioned that to the server and she said that there is under ground parking available. I'll remember that should we decide to visit again.

They are straight-up skilled at breakfast burritos. The eggs were cooked perfect -- just enough runny yolk magic -- and yes, I'll always pick runny yolk. Then after hearing all the comments about their burgers, I had to swing back by downtown Grand Junction at 4th & Colorado . I went with the Tailwhip Bison flat-grilled burger and added jalapeños because, let's be honest, jalapeños make just about everything better. When we first walked in the hostess greeted my friends like they were family. You could tell that she knew the kids and that the kids knew her so they went there often enough. She was so nice, so energetic, and very kind. They sat us in a corner booth, which seems like it was their normal booth so that was nice! She already knew what the kids like to drink and said she would grab it right away. They also offer wooden toys for the kids to play with throughout their meal. And you can take the toy home if the kid really wants them! I thought that was really sweet and a great way to keep the kids entertained while the adults could talk! I got the chocolate chip pancakes with hashbrowns and bacon. The pancakes were very fluffy and loaded with chocolate chips! Exactly what I want :-) the potatoes were crispy and delicious! The bacon was crispy too. Overall, I think this was a great place to meet for breakfast especially cause it's kid friendly.
