My absolute go-to is their breve latte with an extra shot. It's fire. The half-and-half is always steamed to a perfect microfoam, never scorched, and that extra pull of espresso balances the whole rich profile beautifully. It's the kind of drink that makes you want to sit back and just enjoy a quiet morning. Truth be told, the quiet morning part is where things get a little complicated. The atmosphere leans pretty far to the left, which is completely fine. People are free to do their thing. But sometimes that overly expressive vibe spills over into my personal bubble when I just want to enjoy a cup of joe. On my most recent visit, I got stuck sitting near a couple, and the woman was literally reading aloud from a therapy book. She was lecturing her male companion on the exact appropriate way he needs to talk to her in their relationship. I'm all for healthy communication. Listening to a live couples counseling session at nine in the morning is not exactly pleasant, though. It's a funky place, and they definitely cater to a specific crowd, which fits their eclectic, community-driven aesthetic perfectly. If you're into that kind of high-energy sharing, you'll probably rate this place five stars without blinking. I'll definitely keep coming back because that breve latte is just too good to pass up. I just might start bringing a good pair of headphones. Sometimes a guy just wants to drink his coffee in peace.

The chicken was crispy and really good, and the Cajun fries were a nice touch! Wyatt went with the Burger of the Moment -- The Jalapeño Popper -- two smash patties, sliced jalapeños, Swiss cheese , bacon , whipped jalapeño cream cheese, and onion marmalade. He said it was excellent! Haley kept it simple with the Kids Grilled Cheese and really liked it! Of course, we had to try a few drinks too! I had a Paloma , Wyatt had a custom Whiskey Sour , and Haley went with the Riverbend Refresher . Everyone was happy with their choice! Good food , good drinks , and a fun atmosphere! The new owner added an elevated cocktail menu as well as an onsite food truck. The smash burger was juicy perfection! My cocktail was perfectly balanced and yummy. The guys in the truck were friendly and the bartender was very personable. This is a great spot to hang out and they have live music. Awesome patio and indoor seating options. It's funny looking at my previous review and seeing that the potential to be awesome was fulfilled!

Hello friends! My husband and I were passing through on a road trip and decided to stop somewhere…read morefor breakfast. We were initially thinking of going to a chain, but my husband really wanted a bagel, so we decided to pop into a mom-and-pop shop right down the road. There aren't many reviews/ Photos, so I had to leave one after our experience. The service was great. I believe it's run by a husband-and-wife team, and they were both very kind. There were also two young kids sitting at a table playing a game (I'm assuming they were their kids). The food was delicious, came out quickly, and was very fresh. They bring the food right to you, whether it's for takeout or dining in. I had the Redlands Canyon Burrito, which has ham, black beans, eggs, and avocado. I asked if I could substitute sausage, and they were able to do that with no problem. The burrito was delicious, and you could tell they make them to order. I will say that this is a big meal for one person; I could have saved the other half for later. My husband had the Colorado Bagel. The bagel was soft yet slightly toasted, the bacon was perfectly crispy but still tender, and the eggs and cheese just made it perfect. I'll also mention that this is the perfect portion for one person. The burrito is way more food. As for coffee, I had the maple cold brew. This was good, and the cold foam was very tasty. My husband had the s'mores mocha, and this was the star of the show. The presentation was mouthwatering, and the taste? Amazing. You just have to try this! The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is calm and homey, the food is fresh and delicious, there's free Wi-Fi, and the coffee is great. I absolutely loved the coffee presentation. The s'mores mocha reminded me of that hot cocoa from The Simpsons. So if you're passing through, I highly recommend this place! :)

After a few minutes I got back in line (even though there were now three people ahead of me). The temptation of their pourover was too great and I had a little time. The barista, remembering me from earlier, asked what else I would like. I told her I wanted to try a pourover and asked for her recommendation. After confirming that I liked light roasts, she said I might like the Costa Rica Santa Maria. I drank my cortado in much more haste than usual to get to my pourover (they use a Hario V60 type, for you pourover people). On my first sip of the pourover, I noticed the light acidity, but it was somehow different, in a good way. I couldn't really explain how it was different, since I'm not a real coffee nerd. The coffee was good, more delicate but not in a weak way. It was a new and interesting experience for me. I'm glad I went back to wait in line again. Try the pourover if you can spare the extra time.

We didn't see any signs on the door, and I was planning to place an order and wait outside with my dog. I'm not going to tie my dog to a tree. We were inside for literally a few seconds before we were immediately told dogs weren't allowed and that we needed to leave. We weren't even given a chance to respond, explain that I was just trying to order, or even be asked whether my dogs were service animals. I completely understand having a no-dog policy. That's not the issue. The issue was how unnecessarily abrupt and unwelcoming the interaction was. There are much better ways to communicate a policy to a customer who just walked in and clearly wasn't aware of it. Instead, we were basically dismissed before we could even say anything. So we left and took our business elsewhere. Grand Junction has already been a weird stop for us, and after this experience, we'll definitely be skipping this place in the future.

When we first walked in the hostess greeted my friends like they were family. You could tell that she knew the kids and that the kids knew her so they went there often enough. She was so nice, so energetic, and very kind. They sat us in a corner booth, which seems like it was their normal booth so that was nice! She already knew what the kids like to drink and said she would grab it right away. They also offer wooden toys for the kids to play with throughout their meal. And you can take the toy home if the kid really wants them! I thought that was really sweet and a great way to keep the kids entertained while the adults could talk! I got the chocolate chip pancakes with hashbrowns and bacon. The pancakes were very fluffy and loaded with chocolate chips! Exactly what I want :-) the potatoes were crispy and delicious! The bacon was crispy too. Overall, I think this was a great place to meet for breakfast especially cause it's kid friendly. The staff really does treat you like family and I would definitely recommended it again.
