Customer Review - 2022…read more Christensen & Wisnet, Inc. - The Good Guys Heating and Air Conditioning 4450 W Greenville Dr Appleton WI 54913 https://goodguyswi.com (920) 734-1436 In May 2022 my air condition from the early 1990s was no longer going to work and I knew the original 1950s furnace and 12-year-old water heater need to be replaced. I was very unhappy with our old service company. I research the best rated Heating and Cooling companies and called the top 4 companies. Anthony from the Good Guys was the only one to get back to me within a week to give me an estimate, he was there the next day! After getting the other 3 estimates his estimate was still the best for price, quality, and the service they would provide. They were also the only company that would get my new system installed in June! Homes come with all sorts of Heating and Cooling systems, and they date back to all sorts of dates. The Good Guy team knew how to assess my old system and were able to find the best products and installation for me. In fact, they first solved a duct work installation issue by worked with most the old duct work avoiding extra costs. Later when it was time to install my new heating system Anthony called be back with a better more energy efficient heating product saving me a few thousand dollars and also giving me a $500. Rebate! I must say what I was most impressed with was the service of the whole team. I loved working with them, they are the best service team I have ever had in my home! Each member of the team was great! They are very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and the results have been fantastic - everything works well. It I ever have a question, need a follow up or just need someone who listens and finds a solution for me they are there, always with friendly professional service. Use them! Cheers! Thank You Good Guys! J,S. Moore Menasha, WI

My elderly mother in law was being taken down the con lane by KKomfort and they wanted to price gouge her and do repairs that her boiler did not need. She is elderly and on a fixed income. My husband insisted that she let these folks give her a second opinion. They came in a timely manner, behaved as professionals, and took care of her boiler for a reasonable fee and did not see any of the issues KKomfort claimed she had and wanted to charge her an exorbitant fee! KKomfort made a fake diagnosis on her system! Thank goodness for Christensen and Wisnet! We will use no one else! Go with a long held reputation for great, honest service! Don't be taken for a ride by someone who wants to con you and over charge you!

KMill Electric is super professional and timely - I love that I received a text 30 min prior to KMill showing up (in addition to a previously discussed time during our phone call) so that I knew exactly when to except their arrival instead of waiting around all day like other companies I have experienced. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them for any future electrical needs!

He called when he got to our tenant's place and called again when he left so I know generally when they were in and out. A voice mail would actually be appreciated since I normally don't pick up numbers I don't know (but now I have his number saved for future references!) Our tenant's bathroom fan was not working, most of the face plates were either broken or popped out, and one of the smoke alarm was not working anymore. We originally bought some supplies for him so that he can use them but because we got the wrong supplies, he willingly went and bought the supplies to fix all of the above. Of course, we were charged accordingly. Kyle followed through to see if we needed another electrical aspect fixed (but we refused for the time being). Eventually, my husband and I got a chance to check out his (and his apprentice's) work and it looked very good. I'm surprised they don't have more reviews, but Kyle does good work and I definitely recommend him. They are in Neenah but serviced the Menasha area too. I will definitely keep them in mind for future work!

Afterwards, I had concerns about how to properly clean the grate, as there was no accessible panel. A representative from Bob's confirmed that the grates are not removable and advised using a product called Nu-Calgon Evap Foam No Rinse to clean the condensing coil. Earlier this year, Matthew's Heating & Cooling inspected and cleaned my furnace. They determined that the condensate drain had not been installed in a workmanlike manner and strongly advised against using the cleaning product mentioned above (see attached report). To date, we have identified at least two furnaces that experienced this same issue. I scheduled a meeting with the condo board president and a representative from Bob's Heating. No one from Bob's showed up for the meeting. I would urge any resident living at Richmond Terrace to use another vendor when replacing their furnace.

Understanding I didn't have the time to do my due diligence to find the restoration service that I felt comfortable with, I called several to get the ball moving. Megan from Aquire was the first to call back to see how they could help. She was professional, helpful and a pleasure to speak with. She took the basic info from me, advised that Andrea (Andie) would be calling me shortly to discuss the details of the situation. Within 15 minutes I received a call from Andie. She was just as professional and helpful as Megan. I gave her my assessment, but she needed to stop by and check moisture levels and view the situation herself since we had a portion of the basement that was finished. She came by the same day I called and was willing to work with my limited free time. Within a few hours, a crew showed up and began the clean up process. Every person I worked with at Aquire was professional, polite, friendly and thoroughly answered my questions. I felt very comfortable with working with them and very happy that they called me back first. Though I have taken steps to avoid being without power for more than 15 seconds, if I ever have a need for a restoration service, I'm only making one call and that will be Aquire Restoration.
