The key to our son's car fell apart and he lost the chip, so the car wouldn't start. We had a duplicate key bought from some kiosk at Menard's that wouldn't pair, so the theft system on the car prevented the key from working. This guy showed up, paired the key, cut a backup key and paired that, all for LESS than we paid to the dumb kiosk company. I will call Ironman Locksmith every time from now on!

I called pop a lock. Initially they told me that they didn't have anyone available. But shortly after Rah called me back and said he was on his way. He came and helped us get the door unlocked. Don promptly responded to my voicemail within 15 minutes. He scheduled us for service the next day at noon. I had decided to deconstruct the door lock myself, but came to a point that I could not figure out. I took some pictures and Don described to me what I needed to do to complete the job. I was successful after an hour of work with a final product functioning perfectly. The only thing is that I put the pin lock in upside down so the handle was upside down. Ugggh! The 2nd time around was much faster. Don was super humble, professional, and helpful. Although he did not charge me, his character, work ethics, and friendly demeanor should garner your attention. I HIGHLY recommend Don's Lock Service without reservation!

The girl on the phone was nice, but that she would ask me a little more specific information, but she did ask for my basic car info and my contact information. My worry was I was in a public parking lot on the UWSP campus and surrounded by plenty of cars...maybe I should have told her exactly where I was in the parking lot. Regardless she said they would be there in 10 minutes, which they were. It was helpful that they were in a big obvious truck, so I knew it was them and waved them down. The locksmith was very friendly and quick with his work. Pretty standard price (almost $60). Thanks guys for being so prompt, hopefully I don't lock myself out again!

After finishing cutting she took key to car for programming. Only 2 buttons out of 4 worked. She said she only guaranteed her $55 key, which is identical to my $20 Ebay key. Not only was the programming wrong even the cut only works one way instead of 2 ways. She said tough luck. Now I'm out $140. Hopefully she's out a LOT of customers.
