We have been doing business with Best Carpet (Mario) for over 20 years. Best prices, best service, bar none. Thank you, Mario! -Paul & Laura read more

After searching for carpet for my home, I found Best Carpet on Yelp and decided to check it out. The owner was very friendly, and showed me several samples to choose from. I selected one I liked, and set an appointment for a measurement. I left a deposit and the install was scheduled. The install took a few days, but seemed to go ok. A few weeks later I noticed dark lines throughout the house and just thought it was the seams. I called the store for some repairs to be done and the crew told me the lines were not seams, and didn't know what they were. They took pictures to show the boss, and I never heard back. It's pretty obvious that this place deals with discontinued, seconds and flawed carpet. My suggestion to you, if you want a nice product with a decent warranty, look somewhere else. read more

We had carpet installed about a year ago and the team was incredibly helpful, prompt with installation and excellent quality of work! Just recently finished a kitchen renovation where we removed living room carpet and stored in a pod for a couple of months to preserve it. We reached out to have the team come and reinstall and add a small piece. They did an excellent job and were reasonable as well. Overall excellent service and experience! Call Fernando he's wonderful. read more

We've used Best Carpet twice in the last 6 months. We are completly satisfied with the crew over there. Mario, the owner, was so patient with usm and after changing our minds on one carpet choice, even before 2 days prior to install, he was completly understanding, and we were able to change our minds at this last minute notice. Our 2nd install was for wood floors, and the job was 100% done to perfection!! We noticed a minor correction required after this install, and after calling Mario over the phone, his crew memmber was over at our house at 8am sharp the next morning to correct. We strongly recommend these guys over at Best carpet! Richard and Gina Bardales Ontario, 91761 read more

This isn't your typical carpet store. They obviously buy in bulk and have many options on hand. You select what they have in stock and you'll get a very good price. You want to order something it's probably gonna cost you retail, which is expensive. We selected a great carpet they had in stock on a Tuesday. They came to measure our house the following day. And the carpet was installed two days later. Overall experience: Easy to work with, no hassle, no used car lot type of vibe, good price, great installation experience. The owner is a straight shooter. No BS. He even called after the install to check on our satisfaction. I want to mention that I was most impressed by the installation crew. Three gentleman arrived on time, were respectful of our home and did an amazing job installing our carpet. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the job & asked if they could help us with anything before they left. We had moved much of our furniture before they arrived, but they gladly helped with everything else & even helped move the heavy stuff back in place. These guys often go unrecognized & they deserve much respect. Thank you install crew! read more

Mario and his crew at Best Carpet are truly the best! Not only do they have a great selection of samples but their customer service is off the charts! We had a carpet company back our the day of the install. A friend recommended Best Carpet in Montclair. They had exactly the carpet we needed, the prices are very reasonable, and the quality is great. They even worked with us to get is installed ASAP (for us is happened to be the same day!!) Cannot thank the Mario or the team at Best Carpet enough. They worked fast! We are 100% satisfied! read more

My husband and I had gone to a major Home improvement store to get a quote for carpet installation, which seemed a little high. Our contractor recommended calling Mario and Mario not only got us a better price, but did the calculations and found out that the home improvement store was charging us for extra square footage and totally ripping us off. Mario was able to not only give us a better price, but we got a higher grade carpet and padding than wasn't even offered at the home improvement store and we found the perfect color!!! I was so impressed and grateful to Mario and everyone at Best Carpet, they do their name proud!! read more

Best Carpet had the best prices anywhere for our vinyl plank flooring. Their installers were very professional neat, accurate and did a very good job with the subflooring and the baseboards. They were also very cooperative with moving things around and putting things back in place. I would highly recommend using Best Carpet, not only for carpet but for your vinyl flooring needs. Ask for Mario, he's the best! read more

We are 100% happy with Best Carpet. We spent $50 for a quote from Home Depot. They wanted almost $2k for one bedroom! We walked in Best Carpet, immediately found exactly what I wanted, the owner quoted us an "out the door" price and we were done in 15-20min... the cost was less than half what HD wanted to charge! The install date came, and the guys were great! They moved the big items carefully - which I appreciated. Didn't bang into the newly painted walls/baseboards. They were professional and courteous. When it is time to replace this carpet, we will definitely return to Best Carpet. Great experience! read more

So today is 07/19/2023 and I had Best Carpet come out and install carpet in my bedroom and two hallways in January 2019 if I remember right. I do a lot of computer work and I slide my chair back and forth probably 20 times a day (if not more). THERE IS NO TRACE OF ANY TEARING, STRINGS, BINDING, NOTHING!!! The carpet looks as good today as it did in early 2019. Thank you for the great installation and carpet. read more

I had a problem with a job that was done in 2 1/2 years ago and through a process of brutally, honest back-and-forth behavior, best carpet took care of my problem, and did the right thing and reinstalling the floor. I am very pleased with my new floor, and although sometimes conversations can get heated, I understand the company had to insure that things were truly on their shoulders to fix that. I am happy to report that they did so which I am grateful to them for doing it. I thank Mario and Fernando for doing the right thing and I would highly endorse this company for any flooring needs! read more

I got a recommendation from my neighbor to check out Best Carpets to install new flooring. We had originally gone to Ontario Wholesale Carpet and picked out our vinyl, but after unreturned phone calls and a refusal to set up a date to go over floor measurements, my husband and I had to look elsewhere. I called Best Carpet and they immediately set up a time to come out and measure our rooms. Then, we were able to pick out product and set up an install date, all within a short time span. I absolutely love how our floors turned out.. BEAUTIFUL luxury vinyl and a great installation. Our only regret is that we didn't do more rooms. One suggestion is to verify on the baseboards ahead of time. Our new baseboards were about a quarter inch shorter than the original baseboards. read more

I came here with my 84 year old mom. The carpet throughout her home was in desperate need of replacement. Flooring isn't cheap; we had a budget - Best Carpet (and Mario) was able to get us really good quality product with best quality installation and service! Great spot. I go here every year and a half to buy a remnant or cut up a chunk of carpet to make an area rug. The owner is always very helpful and courteous and willing to help find the right carpet for your budget. He has an associate that will bind the edging and make your rug look totally pro.
