Original Frozen Yogurt with 1 Topping
Kristine N.

I've heard good things about BerryLine, especially their homemade mochi topping, so I knew I had to stop by while I was in Cambridge. We went during an off-time and didn't have to wait, but by the time we left 30 minutes later, there was a line out the door--definitely a popular spot! I got the original froyo topped with their homemade mochi, and it was really good--not too sweet or heavy. Service was quick and friendly, and there was plenty of outdoor seating, which was nice for sitting and enjoying our treat before heading to our next stop. I'd definitely come back to try more flavors, but I'll definitely stick to going during a non-peak time!

Super popular for good reason! My friend and I visited on a Friday night, around 7:30, and the line was out the door but lived pretty quickly. I hadn't been to BerryLine before and expected there to be more froyo flavor options but there were only three - original, passion fruit, and Nutella. They had a lot more ice cream flavors, but I was there for the froyo. What they do have a ton of is toppings! There's fruit, mochi, granola, coconut, cheesecake, brownie, chocolate chips, nuts, and more! I got the original froyo with mochi and strawberries. The froyo itself had a nice balance of sweetness and tartness. The mochi was pretty mild in flavor but added a nice chewiness, and the strawberries tasted fresh. Just a note on seating - there are a few tables outside but expect to take your order to go. There's no seating inside and it was super hot inside so I don't think you'd want to hang out there anyway.

The line will likely be out the door (because this place is so popular!) but it moves fast. The staff is quick and hardworking, people are in and out in two seconds. I go for the hard ice cream here (obvi the original tart froyo is their most popular) but the hard ice cream is insanely good. I got cookies & cream with hot fudge and strawberries and my friend got an original tart with hot fudge, strawberries, and mango. The fruit is SO fresh. Also, I got a small (white cup) and my friend got a medium (orange cup) and the portions are huge!

What a charming college froyo staple! Line was out the door on a Saturday afternoon, but it moved fast. there was plenty of streetside parking! Inside space is cozy and has a hustle to try decongest the line, but they generously offered samples. Fresh mochi being made on the spot, with ube mochi up next. I tried the espresso and the original flavors, both excellent in their own right. Not overly sweet, perfectly creamy, and paired with some of the best mochi I've had. Will def be back to try the ube mochi and other ice cream flavors

Came here when I was in town, unmatched best yogurt I've had. Plain is not overly sweet and the mochis are one of a kind. Lines get crazyyy

Heard great things about Berry line, but for me I thought it was okay. The mochi is made in store that was very good. Nice and chewy with a soft texture. I got cheesecake bites as well that was okay. I did not enjoy the original tart flavor though. If I came back I would try a different flavor.

BerryLine was highly recommended on TikTok so decided to give it a try during my Boston trip. Went on a chilly Saturday around 4pm and there was a line going out the door but it moved quickly. I like how they do samples! We ended up getting a small Mango Cream and Original Swirl with original mochi, rose mochi, strawberry, and mango as our toppings. Definitely recommend the swirl! Both flavors were creamy and delicious. The froyo and toppings are slightly tart, so it tasted very natural and refreshing. I would have liked for the mochi to be cut up into smaller pieces as that would have been easier to eat, but still enjoyed. Overall, excellent bang for buck and in a convenient location right by Harvard Square. I would return on a hot summer day!

Amazing yogurt, long line but the line move fast. They don't allow ice cream sample, just yogurts. I would recommend their original yogurt and pair it with cheesecake or chocolate fudge. They have small seating area for you to enjoy the ice cream, but I would just walk around because it close to Harvard campus

Stopped by on a hot Boston afternoon with a group of friends. Line was long but it moved along reasonably given how long some people were taking to order . Staff are helpful and moving as fast as they can, but this is just a popular place! I ordered as per the recommendation of my friends an original froyo with the made-in-house mochi and one of the cheesecake options (this time Oreo). Not that everything really tied together in some culinary way (nor does froyo usually anyways), but everything tasted amazing! Froyo is refreshing and just tastes high quality, and the mochi was also fantastic. Is it weird to say that the Oreo cheesecake was the least impressive part? Things are tight in the space, but you can just as easily eat it on the sidewalk outside, but if you get lucky, there's a small sun room with ~6-8 chairs you can eat in with your group. As a plus, they have a punchcard system?!

3rd time here btw. 1st: This was amazing. Perfect flavor, not too sweet, not too tart. Got honey lavender. The mochi stayed soft even with the cold which is a problem a lot of the time. And the mochi was not too sweet either. Very refreshing. Will be back. 2nd: Came back and got the lychee froyo. And more toppings and mango mochi. Did not disappoint this was so good I have to come back yet again. 3rd: Came back encore and got blueberry lemon and original with mochi, watermelon mochi, and strawberries. This was so good and tart I loved it. The mochi hits everytime and the texture doesn't get hard like how. Anyways so good Usually the line is out the door but it moves pretty fast. There are no places to eat outside but lots of sitting area outside/ people will sit on the curb. Cute vibes

I've been here a few times now and it's a solid froyo spot! The line is usually a bit long depending on time of day and year, but I think it's worth it for a say 10-15 minute wait - anything longer and I'm sure there are other sweet treat options. The store is small so there's not room to eat inside. There are some picnic tables open outside depending on season which I've used and seen others sit at. They have a good selection of flavors and toppings, albeit the price is a bit steep. Portions are generous though and the end product is tasty. I like their mochi and cheesecake toppings while the original front flavor is solid. Overall, BerryLine is a great dessert option in the Harvard Square area and I'm sure I'll be back!

The frozen yogurt here is so good! It's a very popular spot, so there is often a line out the door. The line moves pretty fast, and the froyo is certainly worth the wait. I really like the original tart because it is a perfectly balanced flavor of tart and sweet. There are also so many toppings to choose from, so I will always make sure to load up. I highly recommend their froyo, and I will definitely be back for more and maybe try some of their other flavors!

Their original Frozen Yogurt is the best I've ever tasted. It tastes like frozen yogurt and not just soft serve ice cream.

The yogurt flavor was sour and didn't taste good. Regular ice cream was decent but I couldn't get past the yogurt flavor.

Both the ice cream and the froyo are addictive. Been there way too much recently. The service is always amazing. Cambridge staple IMO.

Yes there is limited seating inside (the shop is pretty small). Not sure if that's changed with the new wave of covid.
