Ambience is super cozy. Food was really good, just like at home. Staff were really pleasant and attentive.

Driving back from Mt. St. Helens with my folks and decided to stop here for lunch and the place was really good! I got BBQ turkey melt and subbed ham in for the bacon and then a side of cole slaw. Mom got their special of the day which was a pork loin panini sandwich. Sandwiches are huge and I loved how much meat they put on them! Although after eating about half my sandwich I did start to regret getting a grilled one as it was super greasy. The cole slaw was also very bland. It tasted fresh but had no hint of seasoning or spice whatsoever so that was a little disappointing. To finish off our meal we split a marionberry cobbler which was fantastic!! I would definitely come back here because I'd love to try their breakfast menu as well as a cold sandwich that isn't grilled. I can't fault them for a greasy grilled sandwich because I know you have to lather the bread with butter to grill it up but I felt it was a little excessive. That coupled with the bland coleslaw is why they fell short. But I'm confident if I went again and tried something else, and maybe a slice of pie, I'd have a better experience and lift my review to a 5. Definitely worth stopping at though! read more

What a find! Did a yelp search for lunch in Centralia, and this gem popped up. I read the entire sandwich and burger menu to my friend as they drove, and we were both drooling by the end of it. The place is spacious and very country home in decor. You seat yourself, and on a Sunday afternoon the place is packed. It's a lively yet wholesome vibe. Obviously a town favorite. Friend got the club, and we were laughing so hard when it came out. It is huge! Watching my 6'3 man try to get this sandwich into his mouth was hilarious. He said it was delicious and brought half of it home. The chips he got were obviously homemade, but mediocre at best. I'd vote going with one of their many other sides. I got the Reuben (no cheese, no thousand island) on a gluten free bun, and it was amazing. I'm not much of a sandwich person, but yes please! Instead of having the thousand island, I used the cranberry mustard at the table, and it was delicious. The fries are much like those you'd get at Shari's and just as unsalted. I still really really enjoyed them though. They're soft and creamy. This was an absolute gem of a find. 10/10 would recommend. read more

What the What??? Wow! It's in downtown Centralia and super easy to find, only about a mile an half off the highway. Super close to the Outlet Mall so if you find yourself Hungry after shopping, I highly recommend popping into this cute old fashioned spacious cafe! It has Great Parking which is always a Plus! Come hungry because the portions are huge and DELICIOUS! We ordered the Beer Battered Alaskan cod with fries, Chicken Tortilla soup ( comes with delicious bread and sweet butter) Cobb salad, absolutely huge salad that I couldn't finish, I tried because it was crispy and tasty! A bucket of onion rings and OMG! These were probably one of the best, if not the BEST onion rings I've ever tasted! Chocolate Cream Pie is Scrumptious Deliumptious!! Everything about this place was Awesome, cute decor, blue ribbon awards on the wall and a super cool rotating dessert display. Service is fast, friendly and super courteous! Staying at the hotel (same building) and decided to order breakfast. Ordered 2 items which one was incorrect. After calling to tell them it wasn't made correctly she said "Let me check to see what happened". They said they gave me the wrong order & to come back for the proper item. After waiting several minutes for it, I got it upstairs & saw it was incorrect again! Called and was basically given no apology and she asked me if I ordered it wrong. Huh?! I am certain I didn't want onions and it had onions. I asked for crispy hash browns (they were barely cooked). SO disappointed and when I said I want you to fix it and bring it up to me, she said she would. SHE TOOK IT TO THE FRONT DESK AND LEFT IT. I will never be ordering from them again. What. A. The short: Food was good. The waitress was lovely. It is clearly a popular place with the locals, but being lowkey accused of theft has left us not wanting to return. The long: My friend and I went to Berryfields as my friend is new to the area and has never been. They have been asking to go, so we finally went today. We got there around 10AM and ordered two of the veggie skillets. They were very busy. Neither of us were bothered by the long wait as we both have worked restaurants and knew it would be a bit with the number of occupied tables. Our waitress was so lovely and kept us updated; our cups were never empty. When she brought us our food she also brought a cookie for us for the wait, which we thought was very nice. Neither of us wanted the cookie due to dietary restrictions, but we figured someone at home would like the little surprise. When it was time to check out, my friend went up to the counter to pay. I followed as the portions were quite large and I needed to get moving, too, which meant walking up to the counter with the cookie. The lady behind the counter entered our ticket and then added the cookie to the bill. I cut in before my friend paid to point out that the server told us the cookie was free. The lady behind the counter was confused, and then asked another woman to come over, who then asked for someone else (I am assuming a manager?) to come over when they were free. I don't like confrontation, but I managed to say that if it's not for free, we don't want it. No one moved or said anything, so we just stood there looking at our feet. It was very embarrassing. Our waitress came over an explained that the cookie was a gift for waiting over half an hour for our food. Just then a man (I assumed manager?) walked over and they whispered to him that they got it. The lady then gave us our total again, not even a "whoops, sorry, your total is...". The tone of it all was very awkward and accusatory. Over a three-dollar cookie (our bill was over forty dollars). I wish I had just left the cookie on the counter. We rode in silence for a bit on the way home before my friend said, "I have no need to go back there". I agreed. Even if either of us could eat the cookie, neither of us would have wanted to. We ended up just giving the guilt cookie to the next person we saw. read more

I've been here several times over the past years. I find that I have a better experience if I order something I've gotten before and I know it's good. Their bog sandwiches are good. And their soup and salad is good. Their Alfredo sauce is weird and tastes like ranch mac and cheese so steer clear if you're looking for authentic Alfredo. I tried their double grilled cheese that was on special and it just wasn't for me on a hot day. Their potato salad used to be good but this time it was dry and tasted like it had been sitting around a while. What a jewel of a find!! Hungry when we arrived here in Centralia... a search revealed this wonderful new experience!! So many amazing choices!! I opted for the grilled Rueben and the daily soup which today was the Chicken Coconut Curry soup. GREAT CHOICE! The Ruben has a MOUNTAIN of corned beef, the perfect amount of "sauce" and gooey cheese! The soup was not too hot, the perfect combo of sweet, thick, deliciousness! Definitely will come again. This is a favorite place for lunch, and has been for over 15 years. They continue to provide exceptional lunch type of food (salads, burgers, sandwiches, soup) in big portions for decent prices. They always have amazing service. I honestly can say that I dont think I have ever had bad service and I go to this place a lot. There salads are humongous and delicious. Try the Berry Ceasar or Chicken Salad. YUM! Their pies are to die for - peanutbutter chocolate - yuM! Try this place, you wont be disappointed. The only downfall to this place is that it does get crowded at lunch and get loud. If you dont like sensory overload this might not be the place for you as all of the ambient noise does sometimes threaten to drown your conversation out with your lunch mates. This place is set in a large open room with no partitions so the noise bounces around. read more

We met friends here. It was the first time any of us had been there. The sandwiches and fries were great! They even made a GF panini for me on a GF bun. The server was busy but checked on us several times refilling ice teas and coffees. Food took some time but we were there at prime lunch time so the slightly longer wait was still very reasonable. The soup was really thick and should have been thinned down but other than that no complaints. Very cute place. Very clean. Thanks for the GREAT service!! read more

Came here once for the first time about a week ago, absolutely loved it. The servings are big, flavor is definitely there. Everything there tastes home made and really is delicious. My first experience was so good I had to come back again, so I did 3 days later came back, and AGAIN it did not disappoint, I failed to get a picture of the food the first time but took a pic of this time I ate. We moved to the area about a year ago. This place, by far, is the best restaurant in town. I have tried other places, but I keep coming back to Berry Field's. Their dishes are HUGE. I barely eat half my meal before I surrender and bring the rest home. Same goes for their outstanding desserts. Huge portions that taste heavenly. Big sandwiches, great salads fun place to meet. Friends. Quaint and fun! Half way between Portland and Seattle. A well hidden gem!

I have tried multiple dishes in person and by delivery and never been disappointed. Prices seem a little high in comparison to other similar casual dining places in the area but portions are typically bigger and the quality make up the difference. The club sandwich is always consistently great. The breakfasts are good and big portions. The turkey pesto panini and Hawaiian panini are great. The cranberry bog is great too. Parking lot to the South side makes it easy as well. read more

It's been a while since I've been here last year on my birthday but, I've been here several times, enough to know that the customer service & waiters are always happy and smiling . The food is unique and delicious. There only 2 things I would change & that's a more timely service and the food on the menu being available but that's probably because they are so popular. Maybe they should hire more waiters and contemplate ordering more supplies for the more popular dishes . Other than that it's wonderful I love the decorations and the Fauquier look they have & especially the happy faces, and very kind hearted people who work there. It was our first time here. Stopped in for breakfast on a sunday morning. Sat down with our group of 5 and after 10 minutes made our drink order. Just as we were ready to order the server asked us to move so a larger group could have our table. Keep in mind this is a seat yourself place and we had done just that.
