When this woman heard about my cat's diagnosis, she launched into a mini tutorial about Feline Chronic Kidney Disease. She must've spent 20 minutes on the phone with me, obviously passionate and knowledgeable about animals. She told me she had created a "cheat sheet" of sorts that I could get a copy of: it lists all the brands of food from the lowest phosphorus content to the highest. Knowing more about this my cats illness eased my worries. Once I got to NB, I learned they carried, Daves & Weruva's, both good for Renal Diets. Then I learned that Martha is one of the owners and was so touched at how much time she spent with me on the phone. So kind! She's the real deal about caring about your pets/fur babies. NB gave me a copy of the Cheat Sheet that lists/compared most all the Feline Chronic Kidney Disease wet food. Thank y'all so much for the guidance! P.S. They have an abundance of fun toys, beds, water fountains, treats, etc. for cats & dogs!

We go often for our doggie needs as well as for our freshwater aquarium and reptile needs. My Pug has gone thru their dog training and it was a decent program. The trainer was very professional and dedicated to the craft and put up with the crazy antics of our pug. Ive never had any issues with the dog grooming and everytime my other dog gets serviced, she looks like a million bucks. FYI their return policy is 60 days. Overall, PetsMart is a very vital part of the community and I'm glad it exists.

Occasonally it slips the collar. By then the cat escapes. I do not want to hurt the neck of the beast in the tussle. He needed a harness. The pet shop a mile away had only small dog harnesses. Would not work. I've gone to Gordon's several times over the years. I noticed quite a selection in their cabinet. Sure enough, they offered me one harness, on sale, kind of tactical or servive animal style but too covering and heavy for a beast living outdoors - with a beast-pool, three sources of water, lots of shade. I do not want to crank up adrenalin and cortisol levels of pet mommies and daddies. The best gets good care, even at 117/47.2 C. I did not want the leather harness with 1" pointy studs, nor other more expensive models. I just wanted to control the beast while oreserving his neck and throat. I finally found a simple nylon strap harness, in safety green that is good rnough. I put it on the beast when we walk and travel outside. It works great. As I checkrd out I found dog treats - tennis shoe, fire hydrant. Fun. They also showed me a resonably priced dack of dog food I eill soon be trying. Thank you Gordon's

That means you get stuck with a wordy review. March 12, 2026, mid day, I returned to my home. Two neighbors, who rarely communicate looked confused. We live in a condo complex, many things beside dry leaves and plastic bags find their way into our corner of the place. That day iteas a red eared slider turtle. You know them, the quarter sized petlets, millions accidentally killed by hopeful turtle owners. This one was 8 inches long and six inches across. Plus, very healthy and undamaged. By evening I knew who lost the turtle. The woman with the jungle patio and cage of happy parakeets. This made perfect sense. This water turtle escaped in November, 2025, finding it's way home in March, 2026. We have been fully occupied with urgent stuff. The neighbor is not home much. I got a container at the thrift store, I got the ultimatum from Sweet D - the turtle must go home TODAY. Turtle food at The Ocean Floor is in the rear near the customer service counter. I got a little bag of floating bits for $5. The turtle was ravenous. The turtle is home. Several people are happy er. Yay!

I've been back in the reef hobby now for 3 years. Ocean Floor is by far the worst LFS in this Valley. Aquaholic Aquariums LLC is the place to go folks. Stay clear of this place. Over priced for corals that look horrible and their customer service is not top priority.
