    Bento Box Take Out
    Jonathan L.

Was very satisfied with the Hot Honey Chicken Bento box. This place was very big inside but not really busy. The bento box i got was well priced and had plenty of chicken. I loved the way the chicken was actually spicy but not overwhelming spicy where you can't taste the the honey. Great balanced of flavors. My order was quickly made and overall very satisfied with my experience with this restaurant. Would come again

2.5 stars The presentation looks nice (see photos), but the quality didn't match. The rice didn't taste fresh, and the fish wasn't fresh either--which is a big concern for sushi. Tried the rainbow roll and spicy dragon roll, and both looked good but were surprisingly bland with very little flavor. Even the bento box was just okay--nothing really stood out. Service was solid and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I ended up with stomach discomfort afterward, which made the experience worse overall. Place has a lively vibe, but based on the food quality, I wouldn't come back for sushi.

I mean what more can I say about this place!? This is my go to sushi spot for affordable good quality sushi. The food, service, and vibe of the place is always top tier. If you're not local and mention sushi odds are I'm taking you here to grab some rolls and sake. Introduced Mr Man to some different sushi rolls, fish eggs, sake bomb, jalapeño bombs, and the vibe of my favorite place. Shoutout to trying new things with cool people. This place never misses for me and I love coming back for more

Went here for dinner for my anniversary before a show at the SAFE credit union. The restaurant is big and nice, but I think the ambience it has is more so a place to eat with family or friends rather than a romantic date night. There is lots of available seating in the restaurant and it was relatively full when we dined in. The service was good. The workers were nice. I personally enjoyed my meal, I got a vegetarian roll, the Z roll which was yummy (as well as a hand roll). All the rolls were 50% off which was nice, I do feel that half off is a fair price to pay for the rolls themselves. If you want sauce on the side, like spicy mayo, they charge $1 extra for it. I think I would come here again to try their bento box at least once and more so because of the convenient location of being near the SAFE credit union.

I was craving Asian food and this is one of the few open options late night. The service at the bar is quick and the food quality is good. The menu is very expansive, but there are many options for everyone. This is a large restaurant and can handle large parties. The restaurant is clean and easy to access from nearby hotels. Tip: sit at the bar on the right side facing the street for a good experience people watching.

This was insanely good!! Calm inviting atmosphere, unprecedented good sushi at half price! Service was quick and great!

I've been here a few times so this review is well passed do. Came in here Friday with a friend and I've felt bento box was always good but this time the quality was much better. They have very affordable prices too. I always get the ninja roll and the jalapeno poppers, they always hit the spot. I'll be going in again tomorrow because I can't stop thinking about them. YUM!!

We went here for a work lunch. There were 9 of us. We arrived around 11:45am, we thought they opened at 11:30, it turned out that they don't open till Noon. We all waited outside till Noon. They didn't open a minute early. The place was empty, we defiantly didn't need reservations. They put an extra chair at a table of 8 for us. We were immediately given water when we sat down. We were asked if we wanted drinks. One coworkers said she wanted hot tea. He eventually came back and took our orders. Our orders came out in a timely matter. After that we didn't get checked on. We were in the walk way from the kitchen to the rest of the restaurant, but he never checked on us. We had to hunt him down to get our check. I ordered the Thursday Bento Box Special. It came with salad, pickled cucumbers, white rice mound, and teriyaki chicken. It was really good. It was a lot of food. I took half of the teriyaki chicken home. My favorite dish was the Mixed Tempura. I love the sweet potato best. The broccoli was not good. It was milly.

We were looking for something close to the convention center and stumbled upon this place. A large spacious restaurant, I was a bit skeptical, but we were hungry! Very glad to find that the food here was actually pretty tasty, and very reasonably priced! Bento Box special #1 was what I picked, and you could select the sushi roll with it. My husband ordered the daily special, and the amount of meat was huge, lol. The tempura was my favorite, it wasn't over battered, and tasted fresh! Even the Teriyaki chicken was clean tasting and not drenched in sauce like a bad cover-up job, lol. Staff was limited, but they were friendly and attentive, and food came out fairly timely, despite them being shorthanded. Good go-to for a decent meal that's not overpriced!!

Came on a Monday at 4pm during happy hour Happy hour is 4pm-7pm on drinks only Sushi rolls are 50% all day here but the rolls are anywhere between $22-$32 here before the discount so kind of doesn't feel like a discount. We ordered a few sake bombs - house sake with Sapporo beer These are typically $4 but during HH are $2 We ordered a spider roll (Deep fried soft shell crab roll) 9/10 We ordered a rainbow roll 8/10 We ordered garlic Edemame 10/10 When we got there the ambiance was really casual and empty at the time, maybe two other parties there and one server were in the building. Timmy is nice, he seated us and took our order. *this place is closed from 3-4pm Restaurant is large open space, this place is clean and has nice decor inside. Overall nice restaurant, good for families, it was easy to find street parking during the time we came. Would come back again.

Came in on a Wednesday evening around 6. Crowd was pretty empty. My friends and I were seated at the bar and given waters and menus. The food prices here aren't high but they also aren't serving anything of high quality here either. For chicken thighs doused in teriyaki sauce, a simple salad, mixed shrimp tempura, white rice and 4 California rolls or was $22 before tax. Some of the sweet potatoes in the tempura mix were burnt, the shrimp was really good I'll give them that. The deep fried California rolls were solid. Simple but big and filled with imitation crab. The chicken teriyaki wasn't bad they just were cooked and sauce was poured over them. Didn't knock my socks off. I honestly feel like I could make something better. The server also told my table it would be an extra $1 charge for a side of siracha. I've never been to Bento box and I am in no rush to go back. It's what the kids call mid. Much better options for sushi in the area.

I popped in for a roll and ordered the spicy Dragon. It was very tasty and definitely hit the spot. The spice level was good as well. The service was alright, but it was super busy due to it being Sac Anime weekend. Inside is open and spacious with room for a lot of people. There are large windows which I'm always a big fan of.

Got to meet Hera tonight. She was delightful! We had a little bit of an issue with one dish that I didn't care for and she was right on it! We changed the order and I shared my husband's sizzling Honey chicken combo while we waited for my new dish to arrive. I must say, his Honey chicken was excellent! And he's really picky. Once we got everything straightened out, we had such a nice visit with Hera and she told us all about her family's restaurant. Definitely coming back!

Did they ever bring back the lunch buffet or is that gone forever now?

I asked a few months ago and the employee I asked said they don't have any plans to bring back the buffet.

Do they still have a lunch buffet and, if so, what are the hours?

I don't know if they have a lunch buffet. We have not been there for lunch.

    Do they offer sushi boats?

Sorry I'm not sure because we didn't go for the sushi that night, but I can recommend Raku Sushi in West Sac. I think they have that plus all you can eat sushi during certain hours of the day.

When are the sushi rolls half off, during happy hour or all of the time?

All the time, as long is you eat in.

What is average price for lunch items on the menu?

    $10

Have you ever tried their wine or get sick off of their sashimis?

This is a very odd question. Here's an odd and nonsensical response: puppies!

This time they sat us where all the chefs were making the dishes, so I finally saw how they make ngiri. There is 1 guy who makes it and I didn't like how he would make the ngiris but was not served asap. He would make about 3 sets at a time or some thing like that. The time from when it's made and time where it's served is too long. That is why the fish is warm by the time it got to us. Also, we didn't see a fridge where he was making it but it could be underneath around his leg area. I'm a little disappointed. From all the sushi documentary's I've watched, this is not how it's suppose to be. I regret ordering the Ngiri Mix again cause the fish was warm. Same like last time! I read other reviews where people have said the quality is going down. Even though, I am not a regular here, I can kinda tell that it is. My favorite are ngiri's and it doesn't beat Kura's ngiri's right now. Kru just give's bigger portions but the quality of Kura's is superb! Since that visit I have returned three different times, always bringing someone different to show off this excellent restaurant find located near 73rd and Stockton Blvd Engawa Fusion is such a special place-this restaurant is over 30 minutes from my house in Natomas in traffic ,yet that never stops me from trekking my way across Sacramento-I love this place that much. On this particular visit we started with 2 different sushi tacos-We had the tuna version and the salmon version-each priced at $11.00. Now I could write a novel explaining the virtues of these culinary creations but I will keep it short-the tuna and the salmon tacos are such the perfect bite-well balanced-well seasoned-surprisingly heavy in the hand while being light to the taste-it's truly been my favorite new food item discovery of 2026. Next we went with the Stir-Fry Udon and this cost us $16.00. I've described this dish in the past as a dish I could eat every day of my life and would be a very happy person. The flavor and seasonings are flawless, the noodles are cooked perfectly, great chew-a very slurpable noodle for sure. I can easily see why this dish is such a popular item on their menu. This restaurant was given a spot on Yelps Top 100 Places to eat in 2025-nothing in this visit did a thing to show that honor wasn't well deserved. In closing-I don't know if I could recommend this spot any higher and I plan many future visits whenever I want to show people how amazing the culinary experience in Sacramento has truly become. 10/10 experience. PS-Parking could be a bit of a challenge as they share a lot with an auto shop but all of my visits I was able to secure a spot-I am sure you will as wel

It didn't take long for a wait list to accumulate so it is def a popular spot. The service was a little slow but the place was packed. The food was 5/5: - Poke Salad: 4/5. So spicy my husband had to give me his sea steak and finish it for me. - Sea Steak Salad: 4/5. The steak was perfectly grilled but most of the sauce was under a huge amount of unnecessary lettuce. - Broadway Roll: 5/5. So good. (The rolls come in 10 pieces but the cuts are smaller in size and easier to eat. We all finished our rolls. ) -Sunshine Roll: 4/5. This wasn't marked as "hot" but it was very spicy and I had to wipe some of the siracha sauce off to eat it. The lemon slices on top were delicious. - Messi Roll: 5/5. Hubby would get it again. - Firecracker Roll: 5/5. Son in law ate every bit!

Again, nothing that stood out to me. AMBIANCE/SERVICE: Service was nice & quick we sat at the bar. Quite a small restaurant so on a weekend i'm sure there may be a wait.
