Just outside Leakey sits this really neat spots bikers know is worth the drive. You can see the burger I designed, which is worthy of its own spot on the menu, if you ask me. When the guy behind the register read back the order to me, just from that, I absolutely knew I created a masterpiece. Luckily, the guy in the kitchen brought it life just as I imagined it! Absolute must: the sourdough jalapeno cheese bun. Really, every bite I thought, oh this really is a tasty bun. Two, count 'em two, patties, American cheese, bacon, and their own sauce. Man, so freaking good. Call this burger The Beast and get it on the board, baby! Had the sweet potato waffle fries, the onion rings, and the tots, and I would rate them just in that order. This is an awesome venue for families! The views are gorgeous and there's plenty of outdoor seating where the kids can run around where you can keep an eye on them. I took my Tri Glide out for a ride in the Texas hill country and remembered reading reviews on the Bent Rim Grill. The first thing you'll notice is that the view is spectacular, and while they do cater to bikers it's not what I would consider a biker bar. They're very family friendly with a nice motorcycle vibe going. There are plenty of tables in the breezeway between the motorcycle retail shop and the place where you order your food. They do have a small air conditioned place to eat if sitting outside in the open air doesn't appeal to you. I ordered the softail burger with cheese and an order of fries. The burger was very good and the meat was fresh and not a premade patty, the fries were good also. The Bent Rim is a nice destination place if you're out and about, whether you're in a car or on a bike. You just can't beat the beauty of the hill country. read more

I ordered the hillbilly cheesesteak and it was absolutely out of this world. If you are a man's man, you're going to like this sandwich. It is a true red blooded American sandwich. My husband and I went up to Garner State Park this past week and this was a place that I would highly recommend to anyone that wants good food, service and a nice ambiance. The staff was so friendly and they were going to close in 15 mins when we got there. We ordered burgers and they were so good. The green hatched chili burgers were so spicy the way we love them. I will return when we go back but will go hours before they close. Thank you to the staff that were so nice which made this experience that much better. They close when they feel like it I guess. It's 6:27 pm and online it says they are open until 9pm but they just told us not to bother getting out of our truck bc they're closing. Last time we came here, the exact same thing happened. AND knowing this, we called multiple times before we left the house and nobody ever answered... So we took the risk. We shouldn't have. On Sat, Nov 8, 2025, my cousin and I along with her longtime friends decided to celebrate one of the ladies birthday eating at Bent Rim Grill. We were 6 ladies in ages from 47-65 dressed in 80's costume outfits. One by one, we walk up to the counter to place our order. As one of our friends next to me walks up to the counter to place her order, the cashier turned and stepped away. She came back and a short time later, this shorter woman came up, leaned over the counter and proceeded to say, someone reported you had a bottle in your bag so I'm going to ask you to go back to your vehicle and take it out. My friend is a quiet sweet lady and was left stunned and speechless so I answered. What makes you think we have a bottle in our bags? Mind you, she and I both had our purse on the counter open ready to pay after our order was placed. She quickly and rudely responded, someone saw the bottles in your purse and saw you pouring it out. I asked who reported this while she just turned and walked away. She never had the decency to give me eye contact at all. I then turned to all the people around and in line behind us and asked if anyone had a bottle or bottles in the purse? I told the cashier, we were there to celebrate a birthday and have a nice dinner and that this was very wrong of her to accuse us without any proof. I then asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager and who was that person who came out to speak to us that way? She said it was the manager by the name of Dayline, Darlene or something similar. I told the young cashier who was not a part of the rude accusation that we were there to celebrate another friend's birthday and that I had not had one drink all day. It was late in the evening by this time. My friend was embarrassed, felt targeted and was emotional at this point. I explained to her that, this incident was all on the manager. She was in the wrong and not to let it upset her. As we were waiting for our food, (mind you when "the manager" brought my chicken sandwich out, she placed it away from all the other orders/I couldn't help notice this and yes, I had a long hair in my sandwich) another person told us it was another group that had bottles. Much later, the manager came out and very quietly (so low we all could barely hear her) came out to apologize and offered us anything to drink on them. If she was loud and aggressive in her unfounded accusation, she could have given her apology in the same loud voice. I do not think Daylene or whatever her name is (short brown haired person) has the professional skills or customer service skills that a manager should have. This place had other customers that were friendly but we all agreed. The manager gives this place a zero score of friendliness, food preparation hygiene and customer service. read more

Bent Rim food never disappoints. If you haven't tried breakfast on Saturday or Sunday, you're missing out. The biscuits are out of this world, so fresh and perfect. Our favorites are biscuits and gravy, the biscuit sandwich- includs a perfectly cooked fried egg The tacos are also really good. On the day we visited Leakey, the Bent Rim Grill was exactly what the doctor ordered! On this overcast but pleasant day we found an outdoor table on their expansive patio that easily fit my daughter, my wife and I so we could enjoy the weather and the view. While there were LOTs of bikers in attendance at lunch, there were almost as many families with dogs. After perusing the menu and ordering, we found the young lady taking the orders to be very pleasant and super helpful. The food came out surprisingly fast. The Ninja Burger (1/2 lb. patty with Pepper jack cheese, Cajun mayo and roasted green chiles on a jalapeño cheddar bun) was cooked to perfection with a nice heat to it. My daughter is picky about her burgers, but the Softail Burger (1/3 lb. patty with lettuce, tomato, pickles with mayo/mustard) made the cut with her - as did their fries. While motorcycling the Twisted Sisters, we pulled into the Bent Rim Grill a couple of times for lunch. The sandwiches were excellent and the employees were very polite and friendly. On our third stop to the Bent Rim, we discovered one of our riding companions had a slow leak in his front tire. Dalene, the manager allowed us to park our bike securely inside her restaurant overnite until the following morning when we came back to fix the flat. Dalene pulled out her own personal set of tools and stayed with us to see if we needed help fixing the tire. When we discovered we were missing a specialty tool for removing the front axle, Dalene gave us the name and number of a nearby motorcycle mechanic who welded up the special tool we needed from a bolt, nut, and old socket to get us back on the road to Austin. I am not sure how we could have repaired our bike without the help of Dalene. Great place for a sandwich with a bar next door, and Great folks! The Bent Rim Grill is a blessing on the 3 Sisters trail. The patio has a beautiful view. The atmosphere is great , the staff is friendly, although the girl at the burger counter had a complacent attitude, and the food is great. The burger ,fat bob burger, really caught me off guard, it was unbelievably good, prob one of the best burgers I have ever had ! My only complaint is no draft beer and sodas from the can . C'mon , it's 2020. ‍ But , regardless, if your riding the sisters, this is a must stop . The burger is worth the trip by itself ! read more

Was cruising the Hill Country from Uvalde, Tx. Ran across this place and we braked when we saw Motorcycle Stop- Leakey Tx. Best stop ever, cool breeze in nice setting and then this restaurant was amazing. You gotta try their Indian Chief angus burger on sourdough bread! Was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time with a side a onion rings. Service was fast & beer was cold too. Very reasonable priced in this economy too. Even after hours these guys and gals took us in after we had an accident on the 3 twisted sisters. They went above and beyond all expectations of helping out strangers. They helped us get back to camp, and thenhelped the next day with recovering the damaged bike. This was the definition of "southern hospitality." On top of that, the food is amazing. Awesome burger, great view, super friendly staff! Ive driven by here a couple of times in the 25+ years we have been coming to the Frio, but finally made the stop. The ambiance is cool - especially if you have even a fleeting interest in motorcycles. I haven't owned once since I was a kid, and don't if that little dirt bike would even count, but sitting there eating my Indian Chief burger, looking at the posters, fuel tanks, wheel wells, etc. made me think long and hard about changing that!
