I'm only giving it a 2 star rating considering the food was okay. I ordered quite a few meals, so logically you would think you would have several bags. However I was wrong, when I grabbed my bag, I realized this establishment loves a good game of Jenga. All my 5 meals, including the fries and extras I got were shoved in one bag. I was quite disappointed when I realized I couldn't even find my delectable sweets I had acquired. It was like they wanted me to play a game of maze to get to my sweet treat. The bun was stale, the chicken was so over cooked and dry, the fries were cold and the lemonade had zero sugar in it..just water and huge chunks of lemon. We came through Kerrville on a road trip and went out of our way to stop at CFA because they're usually clean and consistent. This place has mask orders in place yet none of the staff were wearing masks appropriately, if at all (it doesn't help anyone to wear it around your chin, folks). I was disappointed but what sealed the deal was seeing the display of employee snacks/cups along the wall where you order. Starbucks, yetis, wrappers, etc. lined the wall and someone even came over and took a sip from her drink while I was standing there. The manager didn't seem to care that his employees weren't masked and there was food trash next to an ordering station. Placed a mobile order and sent my son to pick up the order. They gave him the right receipt, but gave him someone else's order. We were missing a Chick-fil-a sandwich, 2 - 12 count nuggets, a shake, and a drink. They were closed by the time we realized it was the wrong order. Not sure why there's bad reviews. Yes they get busy but the line still goes pretty fast considering the amount of people they are serving. I've been going here regularly for years and it's always great. Yes once in awhile they forget a sauce or something but it's never anything major. Service is always friendly and fast. Easily the most consistent fast food in town. The owner seems like a straight shooter, and highly dedicated, focused. Not to mention he gives away copious amounts of food through the Chikfila app throughout the year. I swear if I added up all the free food available over the year, itd be over a hundred dollars. No one has ever been rude to me at a Chick-Fil-A and I'm sure I've been at least a few hundred times in my life. I frequent a Chick-fil-A in San Diego, one of the rudest cities I've ever lived in, but leave it to Chick-fil-A in this tiny Texas town to break the streak. The girl working the drive thru was rude and unfriendly right off the bat. Thought I'd accidentally gone to McDonald's or something. The drive thru has two lanes and was totally empty. When I pull up she says "this lane is closed but what do you want." Told her there were no signs or cones and that they may want to put one out and she just ignored it and asked what I wanted. It was really weird, like having a preacher flip you the bird or something. Kid at the window with blonde hair made up for it by being really friendly and not skimping on the sauce. We had a Romaine lettuce problem in our country A MONTH AGO. We are traveling cross country and have eaten at several chick filas. ALL of them have lettuce, the green leaf lettuce that comes on sandwiches. When we came here, they claimed to not have lettuce due to the ecoli that WAS on the ROMAINE lettuce, a MONTH AGO. They have boxed salads so they could be putting that lettuce on our sandwiches until they feel like the outbreak is over. Sad resaurant.
