It doesn't look like much, kind of like a hippie style restaurant. Lots of herbal remedies for sale in the store portion, but the cute little cafe. All heathy type food either super quick service. Upgraded both sandwiches to combos and the chips were just basic ruffle chips. Would have like something more interesting or unique for a health food cafe. Cute little cafe inside a health food store. Delicious fresh food made right when you order it. I got the BLT which had plenty of bacon and was on a really yummy whole grain bread and hubby got a veggie sandwich. The service was kinda slow because they make everything fresh - try not to go there starving, but it was worth it. Lived here over 6 years now and have eaten at Carrot Patch all that time, great food however the taking orders is a problem now... The workers have their hands tied answering phone for orders constantly. Since the owners are stuck in the past, they will not setup online ordering to alleviate the phone interruptions. Also having to wait in line for almost half my lunch hour is a problem why they take phone orders. Hopefully owners will see this and make changes. read more

ELK burger!! It was superb, tasted like steak and not "gamey", good texture. Cucumber water was flavorful and refreshing on a hot day. Wish I found this place sooner. Then tried to order the vegan beyond burger and was told they were also out of them. Walked out and went down these street to the Thai restaurant. The Thai restaurant was great. Food was very fresh and tasted very good. Highly recommend the Thai restaurant. Unfortunately I'll never know how the food at the Carrot Patch is!!! read more

This lady was extremely rude to me. She brought me the wrong food but it looked a lot like mine. So, I reached for it and she said to that I needed to know my name as she said the name Miami as she was handing it to me. I had earbuds in and was writing in my journal dealing with grief. I reached for the order and then she realized that the food belonged to the lady next to me. She then came back with my actual order, and then she said you need to be more mindful and pay attention. She was the one that brought the wrong food to my table. There were three customers in the store and she is already this confused? I won't allow an adult to speak to me like this. I'm a grown woman. This place has always been a quaint place to get an inexpensive meal. Now it is overpriced and the waitstaff is rude! I got a refund and left. Won't ever go back. This is one of my favorite places of all times to eat and shop. The food is delicious, and so healthy! We always leave feeling refreshed, and we don't crash after eating this food. Our favorite items are the buffalo wrap, the chicken bacon ranch wrap, and the vegetarian wraps. Really we haven't tried anything we didn't like. Not only do they have plenty of vegetarian options, but also vegan and gluten-free choices. Everything is fresh and made-to-order. The staff was really friendly, even taking the time to tell me exactly what came on one sandwich so I could pick exactly what I wanted. We both had tasty sandwiches and chips, and both meals were well-portioned (meaning the size sandwiches SHOULD BE - leaving us full enough, not stuffed). This cafe is small, tucked inside a small health food store with a handful of tables. I don't recommend it for its ambiance, but for the quality of its food. Great chicken salad panini on some type of thin pita style bread. If you prefer they can also make sandwiches with brown rice bread. The chicken salad had grapes and dried cranberries, and the bread added a zap of saltiness yummy. The fresh brewed tea was superb: herbal raspberry and already sweetened. There were also other types of tea available. Along with traditional sandwich choices there was also a buffalo burger or soy burger on the menu. The salads that I eyed on other peoples tables looked delicious with fresh spinach and huge helpings of tuna salad. This place is FAST. I had my food in about 5 minutes.
