One had eaten and taken out from here before and liked it, so we called, didn't need a reservation, off we went. At about 5:15, give or take, we were the first patrons there. It's a lovely large space, warmly decorated with tables and some banquettes. We chose a 4-top kind of right in the center! Comfy chairs, btw. The menu isn't strictly Greek or Lebanese or Turkish, kind of a combo of good choices from those cuisines. We started with an appetizer called Tinos Artichoke. Very interesting, served with small warm fresh wedges of pita plus a cup of deliciously seasoned pita chips. It's a dip of mashed artichokes with Greek yogurt, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, garlic, feta. S tasty! It's a great portion to share among several people. My friends each ordered the chicken soup with vegetables for appetizers. Quite a nice sized bowl for the price; I love avgolemono, if that's what it was (I didn't taste it), just didn't feel like having soup. They both liked it very much and then they were pretty full! I ordered two appetizers for my meal - Symi Shrimp and Grilled Halloumi. Excellent choices, and they worked really well together as a meal! The 2 slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi are served on a bed of romaine lettuce and some threads of carrot. The shrimp are small, very lightly breaded and deliciously seasoned; menu says garlic, lemon, but they were reddish so I suspect maybe paprika as well or cayenne + paprika (not hot but not bland), shredded feta sprinkled liberally on top. I'm a big eater, but after the appetizer I wasn't able to finish my meal; today I reheated in the toaster oven for a lunch treat! One friend had just the Symi shrimp as her meal; the soup had filled her up and she also took some home. Our other friend had the chicken shish. This came as a really well-balanced plate, with plenty of cubes of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ALL had to-go bags! Appetizer portions, just based on the appetizers we were served, are ample for sharing. Didn't stay for dessert, as I had a train to catch back into the City. When I'm out in Bergen County again, I'll think about coming back. If you live in the area, GO, It's very good and not exorbitantly priced.

I've probably eaten here close to 100 times over the last 15+ years, and I probably take my family here a couple times per month. The food is good, prices are fair and you absolutely can't beat their lunch special deal (soup, salad and your entree for a set price). However, I was somewhat annoyed after my last visit. It was our last lunch before sending my daughter off to college. We were eating our first course, the soup, when someone came over to anxiously clear off plates. Two people finished their soup, but another two were still eating at the table. This drives me nuts. I wish they'd just wait until everyone finishes a course before clearing. What happened next is what set me over the edge. People came out with our salads and one guy was trying to take my daughter's soup away while she was still eating it. After we stopped him, he then wanted to just squeeze it on the table beside her. Sheesh. I was so annoyed and didn't understand why they're rushing us. There were only 5 tables of customers there for lunch that day. What was the F'ing rush?! Our waiter, who has been there for years, blamed it on some new kitchen waiter they got. Regardless, it ruined the meal and we didn't even get the main courses yet. That general culture here of anxiously clearing plates away has always annoyed me. I ordered from the special menu the stuffed pork chop on the bone, wow mind blowing. Mushroom, roasted potatoes, a big old chop stuffed with Mozzarella cheese in a tomato ragu. Totally delicious, and so big i think all we needed was a side of pasta to make it a winning dish. I end up ordering a full order of linguini in clam sauce aling with the chop and the wife and I ate like royalty!. Meatballs were 4 small in an order and the zucchini breading was breaking off most pieces, but, the flavors were good. I had the lamb Burger, which comes with Greek fries, and ordered it medium - it came out fully cooked through. Still, was a tasty burger. The fries were also nicely seasoned, a bit tangy and covered in feta. My coworkers all liked their meals too. I was particularly pleased with the wine we bought - a great rosé from Macedonia. They still charge a credit card fee. There's some parking around the building and always street/metered parking. Our server also did a fine job and I think it was generally a good time for everyone.

They set up in the driveway, set up their tent and got down to the business of feeding 60 hungry people. Burgers, Hot Dogs, killer Chicken Nuggets, Onion Rings, Fries and Hot Pretzels- all served with the proper condiments and sauces. Everything was fresh, delicious and well received. At the end they cooked off enough food to feed 60 people all over again! We noshed all night and still had plenty of leftovers. I've eaten at the restaurant and it was very good but their handling of this party was over the top! It was topped with caramelized Vidalia onions, American cheese, and topped with their homemade Mandy sauce. The quality and taste was more than superior. I especially enjoyed the Mandy sauce which is a savory combination of ketchup, mayo, honey mustard and barbecue sauce. (The combination of all these sauces may seem overzealous, but it was actually a perfect concoction.) The minor drawback is that the size of the burger is on the smaller side, which accounts for its cost effective price. Onion Rings: These gigantic beer-bartered rings were piping hot and crispy on the outside while soft and oniony on the inside. A cup of Mandy sauce is also included. Ironically, the cost of the side actually is slightly more than the burger itself. All menu items are sold à la carte. There is an up charge if you request any additional specialty sauces with your meal. However, complimentary ketchup, horse radish sauce, hot sauce and many other condiments are complimentary. If you do not wish to buy any beverages, a free water cooler is available. Everything is freshly made to order so expect a wait, but it is definitely worth it. Made a reservation a week beforehand and proceeded to be walked passed numerous available tables to be seated completely in the back of the restaurant by the kitchen door. Let's just say.. no windows, no atmosphere just a kitchen door swinging open and shut the entire meal and UNBEARABLE HEAT. It must've been 85 degrees where our table was and we could've been easily sat somewhere else to alleviate this issue but instead when we told the staff how uncomfortable it was they said they'd turn the AC down and made a joke about us having the meat sweats... This was not a laughing matter, be professional, you claim to be an upscale establishment. The service was comical. We've dined at plenty of Brazilian steakhouses before so we knew the routine but talk about being annoyed the entire meal. After being in our seats for no more than a minute we are bombarded by 2 or 3 servers at once with meat. How about a greeting and some drinks first, give us a second to get settled. My aggravation really started when we were served HOT WATER, not ice water, not room temperature water but hot water. We had to ask for glasses of ice but it melted in a few short minutes. Trying to make the best out of the situation we ordered a bottle of wine and sure enough the red wine was hot in temperature as well. Knowing we were fighting a losing battle with this heat we did our best to eat and made the effort to leave quickly. Somehow we went from being bombarded with servers to just sitting around hoping someone would come to our table to offer us another meat or anything at this point. Yes, our cards were all flipped to the green side. I even stuck it on my forehead at one point using all the sweat dripping down my face.
