Today was my first time coming here. I've heard great reviews about it and was eager to try it. The food was great! Had lobster and shrimp with their garlic butter medium spicy blend. The valet staff were really nice and we were seated almost immediately. Although the food was great, my only complaint would be that the music is way to loud. I couldn't even hear my boyfriend when he was screaming so it was hard to enjoy conversation. I would also not recommend bringing kids here as the music is extremely offensive and inappropriate, I was surprised they would even be playing it. It was nicely seasoned and fried. You honestly do not need the sauce that was provided. I wish we ordered 2 sets of it. The lobster mac & cheese was very good. It wasn't so cheesy as other places I've been to have made it. Also there were big chunks of lobster claw meat in there. My husband had the snow crab leg/shrimp combo with old bay and mild spicy seasoning. If you don't like spicy I would definitely stick to the mild. First off I looove the environment here. The restaurant is big & very pretty to be a seafood spot. I came a little later l, maybe like 30min before they closed & they accommodated us. The vibe is nice and the staff was amazing! The food was a bit disappointing. I've been to a few different seafood boil places that weren't this close to the water and the seafood was fresher. With my seafood I got the bens signature sauce, it was good but a bit salty even after re heating it the next day. The customer service is great so are the drinks and meh... that's kind of where it ends for me. Went to this establishment for a birthday they do not have candles nor do they sing happy birthday. Order a pound of crab legs with lemon pepper seasoning which was messy and not good. They only give you 1 and 1/2 cluster if you purchase crab legs at your local grocery you know that is not a pound! Would recommend skipping a seasoning altogether. The fried shrimp have an interesting batter. The key lime pie tasted like it was the one from the supermarket. Their Mac and cheese was watery if your into that kind of Mac and cheese dig in. I don't plan on returning I gave three stars because they were really nice and the drinks were really strong. So while ordering the food my ear over hears the music. 1. The music was WAY to LOUD I couldn't hear my wife talk while sitting 2 feet away from me. 2. Now this is where the 2 star come in, while the music is playing I hear a female rapper talking about SUCKING THIS AND GRABBING HER YOU KNOW WHAT! At this point I loss it, I walk to the hostesses desk and vent my displeasure. At this point a confused look comes across her face as if this is the first time she hears a complaint. My cousin ordered the Hurricane, which was strong if that's what you're looking for. We had two appetizers, a shrimp basket and crab cake sliders. Both were very good. I ordered snow crab and shrimp with Ben's crab special Cajun sauce, spicy. The snow crab had a nice sweet taste as far as the meat , the flavoring for the sauce was perfect. My boyfriend and i got the combo snow crabs + shrimp, he had Ben's special Cajun blend and i got garlic butter... both were so good! My boyfriend and I had the chance to try Ben's for dinner and were happy to discover our new favorite seafood boil spot! So glad to find a place near home and not have to travel into Manhattan for a good seafood boil place and spend a fortune every time we get that seafood itch. Coming from Los Angeles and Seattle we've been to the famous Boiling Crab and Crab Pot as well as different restaurants serving seafood boil all around the country (we travel a lot) and Ben's in our experience has tasted the best, has had the best service, the most beautiful updated decor (choose to dine at the outdoor terrace if its a nice weather day), great spacious parking and has been a SIGNIFICANTLY better value. They are literally only a few dollars more per pound than buying your own seafood and cooking it yourself at home! Honestly, I was so surprised by the flavor of Ben's Special Cajun Mix flavor and the Garlic Butter flavor! It was AMAZING! Typically most places tend to taste pretty similar with the only difference being how seasoned the flavoring is and variations on if they include extras like potatoes and corn or not. Ben's is loaded with actual fresh garlic pieces in their sauce and it just tastes so amazing and robust regardless of the spice level we ordered! We found ourselves licking our fingers and digging into our bowl just to eat the sauce long after we finished all our shrimp! The service was as attentive as you can get, and the manager even went as far as to put our bibs on for us. They really seem to be working super hard to make the place as successful as possible since they just opened and make sure you are taken care of. Food came out within 15 minutes as told. Servers went above and beyond to constantly check up on us to see if we needed anything or to refill our drinks. We were even given free quality gloves to eat with our meal which was so helpful in keeping ourselves clean while eating and preventing our hands from getting burns from directly touching the freshly hot cooked seafood unlike other seafood boil restaurants *I'm looking at you Boiling Crab*. We also enjoy dumping all of the seafood "Crawdaddy style" (that is when you dump all of the sea food on the table I need it from there like primitive people). The crab legs tasted like they had been dipped in perfume. It was a very strange taste. Most upsetting though was attempting to eat the shrimp which were not deveined at all. We sat here cleaning shrimp at the table as we attempted to eat them but after a while it was just too much. We will never come here again. First time here and I was surprised to see a interactive DJ catering mostly to the bar area. Btw, if you're trying to have an intimate dinner or just a normal volume range in a restaurant, this place isn't it.... It's stupid LOUD but fun enough for a lounge/club feel. The bar is actually really nice and I'd probably come back just to get drinks and hang out, maybe have a couple of apps but don't bother getting the boil. I was excited to try a new place that does the seafood boil and I was disappointed. Got the "garlic butter sauce, medium spice". I didn't taste any garlic or butter but what I did get seemed like a pastie dark sauce that almost had a curry or turmeric spice to it. And medium is an understatement. Spicy AF. It wasn't terrible but not something I would EVER get again. The shrimp in the boil was not deveined and I know this might sound weird but I've had shrimp in a boil in other places and they take the time to keep the shell on but devein the shrimp. Lobster tail was good but slightly over cooked. Snow crab was okay, not sweet enough. Had a frozen Margarita, strong but drinkable. Must try the Garlic Noodles... read more

Came here after a day at the beach and was able to park easily in their private lot. Party of 4 got seated right away around 6:30pm on a Saturday. Don't know the waiter's name but he was super friendly and spot on with the service- checked in on us but didn't hover. We ordered a dozen oysters and a few lbs of seafood, choosing the garlic butter and ben's sauces (you can also get it dry with sauce on the side). Next time we'll have to try some of the apps. The seafood was very tasty and meaty, you can tell it's fresh and not the frozen kind you get at chain restaurants *cough* red lobster =p. It comes with some potatoes and corn; if there was one thing they could improve on that would be it- the corn was overdone while the potatoes were slightly undercooked, I also wish there was more of it. For some reason the bags seem a little lighter than the ones I'm used to getting at places like "The Boil" or "Claw Daddy's" in the city. Luckily they give you bibs and gloves so clean up is a breeze! read more

The mac and cheese could be a larger quantity for the $6 or maybe they could lessen the price by about $2 but it tasted GREAT. piping hot from the kitchen and I was eating it like no tomorrow. Great seasonings, loved the shell pasta and the breadcrumbs on top was a great touch. After devouring that we waited a little and our food was arriving. Now once I seen this bag of goodness with my food I was so excited, I got confused with how to put the Bibb on. I felt like a infant but the waitress helped me a lot and the staff was great. Great service, lots of crab legs, sauce was very saucy which I loved and tasted amazing. Wish it came with like pasta so I could top it off lol. But it was really good, the corn was great with the sauce and the potatoes were great with it. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back with more friends. Was so looking forward to a good "Maine" lobster roll ( simply warm with garlic butter), only to be disappointed to receive an extremely spicy one, so spicy I couldn't even taste the lobster. I even asked our server if they had that kind (warm with garlic butter as opposed to a cold lobster salad) and he said they did. Absolutely love it here. I've been coming here for like a year a so, and I must say it never disappoints. The food here always feels fresh well portion budget friendly for seafood that is AMAZING drinks ( you can always tell them to give it to you strong and they typically accommodate without over charging) and great staff!! Only thing I would advise is that the music does get a bit loud and it's crowded at times but definitely recommend going here I love their catfish basket as well as their crab combo. Know when they say a pound of shrimp is definitely a pound so good hope this helps someone read more

I needed a place to celebrate my graduation in November at the last minute. Due to Covid restrictions my ceremony was cancelled. I went to them and explained and boy were they helpful. They were able to accommodate me and my guest and maintain the social distancing requirements. They were so, so nice and so,so attentive!! The food is absolutely amazing and very affordable. I had decorations with me that the staff helped me put up for my guest. Such a great experience! It is a little brightly lit but the music and staff make up for ambiance. Was on my way to another seafood spot close by but no parking and long wait time, we decided to try another post found parking immediately, was seated has entered so that was good. Decor was little aged, lots of large groups and active conversation filled the air. The wait time was relatively short for our Appetizers New England clam chowder, they were warm and full with clams and very tasty. I got the combo clam and shrimp and my wife had the 2 lobster tails both with Cajun seasons and both served with corn and potatoes shaken in bags to get the seasons all over the food.
