Food was excellent, husband said spaghetti and meatballs was best he's ever had (don't tell his full Italian Mom). Portions are huge, you could easily share. Garlic knots were decadent. The atmosphere is a place that could have been a strip mall sandwich shop in another life surrounded with autographed Sopranos pictures. When I walked in Bada Bing, I found the staff to be very friendly. It is a small family run business that seems to stay busy. So I decided to find out what all the fuss is about. Shrimp, scallops, mussels and clams on your choice of pasta ( I had penne) and an arribiatta sauce that was deeeeelish! Others in my party had baked ziti and lasagna, and they said it was fantastic. Went in with a friend for lunch. Ordered a Margarita pizza. No fresh tomatoes. The crust was so soggy that it ran off when I tried to pick up a slice! This pizza had no flavor whatsoever. I used to get pizza here a long time ago and loved it. Referred quite a few people. I don't know what happened but yesterday I had the worst pizza ever. Being from Boston's North End I know great pizza and food and I didn't taste any of it here. read more

We came into town from CA to visit Nana. We asked about a pizza place and this is where she took us. Can I start with how amazing and nice the people are who own the place. They knew Nana, knew what she wanted, and they were great with getting our food to our table, piping hot and delicious. We almost slept on getting the garlic knots, but when we saw them pass by our table we put in an order, and thank god we did because they were so darn good. The pizzas were delicious, the saw is great and the crust was our favorite part. I love little joints like this, and I love it even more when they try to get to know you and go out of their way. I was the customer that called for a to go order last night. All the owner's daughter had to say is that "To go" delivery time is a one hour wait from the time I ordered. Instead she took my order and told me to pick up my order in 30 min. I asked her to deliver it and then she said it's an hour. I changed my mind. So what ! She became irate on the phone. It's not good business to treat customers so poorly. My niece picked up the order and once again she was treated badly. . Do not go here if you are looking to pick up pizza. I visited here in November 2018 while in Venice. I was looking for a decent place to pick up a few pizzas to feed a group and this place had good reviews. Based on my experience, this barely cleared the benchmark of a 1-star. First off, they charge $14.99 for a large pizza which seems to be extremely overpriced. Then on top of that they charge $1.75 per topping. My order: 1 Lg Cheese Pizza - Decent enough taste 1 Lg Grilled Chicken Pizza - the pizza had about 3 small pieces of chicken for $1.75. Complete rip off 1 Lg Meatball Pizza - the pizza had 4-6 small pieces of meatball sprinkled throughout 1 Lg Meatlovers - Covered in toppings, but rather than charge as a special pizza (expecting $18-20) they charged by the topping so it came out to $27. Again, complete rip off Basically, the pizza is severely overpriced for something that is about a C/C+ quality. And if I paying to put toppings on a pizza, put toppings on the pizza. Based on other reviews, it appears that people have a good experience eating in and ordering non-pizza items. But do not order the pizza. read more

Great pizza and tasty dishes. Always satisfied by a meal purchased for take out. Problem is they don't honor their online deals. I was overcharged for a pizza deal recently. The owner stated that the online website for the restaurant is; "wrong, outdated and we don't have control of it so we won't honor those prices." 5 stars for Bada Bing in Venice. Arrived when place was packed. Waited outside and watched patrons leave. Went inside asked for a table for 2 and was told people were finishing up if we wanted to wait. We waited, maybe 10 minutes. We were waited on within 3 minutes for drink orders. After placing drink/app/meal order, drinks, salads (large salads for a starter!) and ohmygod those amazing garlic knots arrived immediately. Apps arrived 10, 15 minutes later. One app had to be sent back as there was ricotta on it--companion doesn't eat ricotta and the cheese wasn't mentioned in ingredients on menu. No problem! It was replaced without issue. Waited another 15-20 minutes for main meal- 1 spaghetti and meatballs and 1 Chicken Marsala. Huge portions. Marsala had an incredible amount of mushrooms (). Meatballs were enormous--and quite perfect, not dense, moist and seasoned just right. Both meals were excellent. As it was so very busy, for our patience we received 2 cannoli on the house (both for me ). Service was friendly and efficient. Bada Bing is a family owned establishment, grandkids pithcing in to help . Menu is extensive. We look forward to adding this to our rotation. read more

I was in the local area on vacation and it was recommended I have lunch at this establishment. Wow! I have to say it was totally worth the stop. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza, some of their house salad and some pasta fagioli. I have to say this is a totally cool place to go if you're looking for that local true Italian family restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and you can tell that there is a lot of love put into the food. I have never felt so welcome at a restaurant the first time I visited and it's pretty cool that the family works there, I got to meet the owner and such. If you are in the area and want to get a great lunch after a trip to the beach it's definitely worth a visit. read more

I met Bennie while in Cafe Bagel next door. He mistook me for a family member and we struck up a conversation. I told him I'd come back later in the day for pizza and man am I happy I did. I liked how quaint and old school the restaurant was. Table placement made me think of places I've been where strangers end up striking up conversations between tables. The excitement on Benny's face also made my day when he looked up, saw me and exclaimed "You came back!" It wasn't just Benny though, the entire staff was very welcoming. We ordered a large pizza that was bigger than expected. It was a NY style pizza that was on point. Good sauce and not to much I'd say the perfect amount, good pepperoni and the meatballs tasted homemade and were absolutely amazing. We also ordered Teriyaki wings. Easily the best wings I've tasted in Venice so far. I look forward to trying more dishes upon our return to Venice. Benny's will now be a regular stop for us when we visit. read more
