This is in a strip mall-so parking is easy! Great food! And a great atmosphere!! So Charming! Our server was patient to explain any menu items that we had questions about-I really appreciate that, because we came with a party of 7 and got wonderful service and suggestions. It was the first time there for all of us- one of our group got a recommendation from another friend-so none of us knew what to expect! But we were all delighted! I had the lasagna! And it was perfect! The sauce they make is terrific! We all commented about that! I would be happy to have the lasagna again-but I have my eye on another entree as well! Can't wait to go back and try some other things here!!

No one ever balks at having Italian food for dinner, and everything we tried on their menu underscores this restaurant's status as a Venice classic. Located just off the island on Venice Avenue, there's plenty of convenient offstreet parking. It makes sense to dine east of the island if you can. Things are more relaxed on this side of the bridge. Once you get in the door you are greeted by an pleasant staff that dishes out gigantic portions of family style specialties. The Veal Saltimbocca burst with fresh flavors and my wife had the chicken parmigiana - it was thickly layered with tomato sauce and bubbling cheese. Both entrées were served over a bed of linguine. The wine list worked well for us as they stocked a bottle of reasonably priced Super Tuscan. This wine paired well with both our meals. As an appetizer we ate the cheese pizza and it was amazing and reasonably priced. This iconic Venice eatery is doing things right. Next time I'll save room for one of their homemade desserts. Salute!

We used to eat at Valenti's when we had a place in Venice. It's been probably 4 years at least since we last ate there. Today we went back for lunch, not knowing what to expect with the mixed reviews from the last year or so. I can tell you it was even more delicious than I remember! I ordered the shrimp caprese pasta, and my husband ordered the angel hair with meat sauce and a piece of Italian sausage. Our server brought us warm bread and butter to start, and it tasted like it was just baked. Lightly crisp crust, with a dense yeasty middle that was warm enough to melt the butter we spread on it. My shrimp dish was really exceptional. 7 good sized shrimp atop linguine that was tossed with fresh mozzarella and coarsely chopped tomatoes and a lemon butter scampi sauce. The flavors were perfect together, especially the lemon in the sauce! The angel hair with meat sauce was delicious too!

This was a small place with a lounge that was part of the establishment as well. Baked Italian goods could be purchased here. The service was appreciated and the food came out quickly. The menu had the Italian classics along with other interesting choices. For an appetizer, the gnocchi ($15) was ordered. This was part of the main dishes, however, we wanted the dish to start. It was a flour and potato dumpling with tomato sauce and mozzarella. The creaminess of the cheese and light tomato sauce along with the perfectly cooked gnocchi really was satisfying. This was a good start to the meal. I ordered the pork osso buco ($21?) for an entrée. This was a special they were having. It consisted of a pork shank, vegetable mix, and pasta. It reminded and smelled like a stew. This dish was huge. There was a lot of meat present. However, the meat was very plain. The meat was extremely tender, but just lacked flavor. The bottom of the shank was also cold while the rest of the dish was warm. It made me question if the dish was microwaved. It was a very disappointing osso buco. Will I go back? Probably.

Pepperoni pizza, caesar salad, and a loaf of their fresh baked bread. Curbside Take-Out.

Two women and three girls! Venice Avenue was crowded on this gorgeous early evening. I had chosen this restaurant due to its great Gluten-free options and kids' menu. Wow--did it deliver on those with a most attentive server. This is classic Italian comfort food--and the GF versions were excellent. Especially the GF pizza and focaccia. I had the regular Lasagna with Bolognese and it was yummy! Yes, there may be a more "gourmet" fine dining Italian place down the street, but Made in Italy did a great Valentine's feast for us. The entire restaurant was packed and the vibes of love were everywhere! And the server was so sweet to our 6 year old twins and 4 year old sister! And BTW the cucumber skinny martini was fabulous!

We were pleasantly surprised to find 2 HUGE rice balls and they were delightful! The sausage and cheese were a perfect combination. The Caprese salad was very good. As for the pizza. I wish we'd eaten there because by the time we got home, it wasn't crispy anymore; but the combination of flavors, including the crust, was excellent. They even included sliced bread with oil & vinegar for dipping. We will definitely return on our next trip to Venice! Delizioso!

My Ravioli di Mare was delicious with excellent sauce - shrimp were decent - doubt if they're local. My partner's Strozzapreti Chianti was also an excellent choice. Very nice noodles. Salads were very good. Drinks were good. Restaurant was nice. The not so good - I made a reservation for two. So when we got there only two tables in the restaurant were occupied. We were placed right next to a couple whom I believe thought we were uncomfortably close. No reason for that as the place wasn't busy and we could've sat elsewhere. The place is expensive. More than it should've been. But that doesn't detract from the food which was very good so the price isn't a show-stopper. All except for the limoncello desert. Tasted like it was store bought - expect better for nearly $11 a slice. But the topper for us was - With just two tables occupied - the other couple had left - a Medical professional (who most likely just got off her shift) came in by herself looking for a table. She was told they couldn't accommodate her - they were closing early and she was turned away. The place was no where near closing time - no closed sign on the door. We both found that off-putting. Hence the 3 stars which otherwise would've been 4. Whether we will return there. Si' o No? I'll leave it at that... Buona sera. Buona sera.

This place is the opposite of a chain restaurant. It's clearly a family business that takes pride in preparing every dish. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and on top of everything. My wife and I split an appetizer: meatballs with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese. The dish was perfectly executed. I found it hearty, satisfying, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The menu features many daily specials, and today the veal parmesan caught my eye. The cutlets were beautifully prepared. Pounded thin, they were tender, and topped with a rich, fresh marinara sauce. The cheese was bubbly and golden. All the elements came together in a dish finished to perfection. The pasta was homemade spaghetti, cooked tender yet firm, and generously coated in marinara sauce. I would order this meal again, but there are so many other items on the daily specials list to try. I can't wait to come back.

August 7, 2026 - Two for Take Out : First Visit…read more I bought a house in LOW in 2024 and have driven past and in this shopping center for 2+ years. We do pizza about once or twice a month. (we have been going to another place for a year - further away and currently close until EOM August/September) This would be a great spot since it's under a mile from "the home shack." We are from Philly (45 years growing up, school, college etc.) with heavy Italian influences and I think better pizza and tomato pies that NY, and also from Long Island recently after 16 years, where the pizza is not that great quite frankly. The quest is ON here in Florida for 5 years? We got a plain cheese since that is where the reference standard is? I opted for "thin" crust I don't know why, mainly because others are so doughy and sometimes undercooked - I should have given them a chance to do that. This pie was thin and then the crust a little dry and crunchy and the crust like a cookie. I will take the error and will try their regular standard pie. I think the dough had a good flavor but it was overcooked. The cheese was good quality not all whey cheapened up and nice and 'stringy. The sauce was also nicely spiced and authentic. So the basics are there. 6/10 The boss is really a wing fan (and of course sadly only likes flats) so this plant based vegan does go off script for the pizza and then the "drums" are mine unless she really loves them! This kiss of death for any place is if the flats are not AT LEAST 50% of the order. Leone's passed this test. phew! Its a 5 piece order so there can be mathematical problems here. We got an order of standard mild buffalo and then an order of garlic parmesan. (Picture attached somewhere.) We do like them "well" done which really means properly cooked since so many are rubbery and undercooked and it seems Sal is more concerned with getting the order out and fast is better than good and well done. You know Sal Manilla? (snicker) These wings however are sent swimming in the deep fryer. They are obviously quite crispy on the outside and this type of high heat murders the meat on crisps the skin but then inject the fryer oil fat etc. etc. This is not very healthy (of course Sal is whipping this out quickly and on "short" order. We prefer BAKED wings. Sadly for all these restaurants my wife is a great cook and since she loves wing (flats) she makes truly the best baked wings I have ever eaten from buffalo, to Long Island to Philly to anywhere. But the secret is SLOW & LOW. (the other place we normally frequent does this) I may ask if they can bake the wings when I go back for Round 2. Good flavor and seemed like good product. Don't like the deep frying and over cooked. 5/10 The place is very nice for dining in and I have seen it MOBBED!!! The wait staff and people seemed attentive and pleasant and I think have been there successfully for years. We/I will be back and possibly to dine in, but at least another take out for sure. Regular Plain (not thin) and since they don't do a Spec Pizza maybe the Margarita or Grandma or something as well. Will investigate the "baked" wings request as well - the deep fry is a no?
