Ugh. So we ordered our pizza. One white called little Italy. First time I ever had thick cooked slices of prosciutto on a pizza. Usually thin shaved slices added after pizza cooked. Prosciutto was very chewy and tough. Ricotta cream was really good. Fresh mozzarella seemed like a slice of normal mozzarella. Crust had a decent flavor. Good chewy factor and good cook. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. Pizza was soggy. Crust flimsy and wet. Pepperoni was good. Cheese was salty. The pizza was ok. The bad part was the lack of attention from stafff. Walked in 20 minutes like they said when they took our order. Couldn't find pizzas. Waited 30 minutes for pizzas on top of 20 minutes. They couldn't give an answer of what happened. Didn't seem to really care. It seemed like the pepperoni sat the 30 minutes because they forgot to make the other pizza. Would have left if we had not paid. I am sure we can do better. Holy cow. Not just good, great, but seriously OUTSTANDING pizza! Our waitress Rebecca was fantastic. Allowed us to sample a few tasters of beer before we decided what we wanted to order. Started with the garden salad. Was perfect. Just the right amount of dressing. Hearts of palm. Onions. Fresh tomatoes. Then we got our first pizza, with onions, green peppers and mushrooms. It was so good that we ordered a plain pizza for dessert!!!! The ambiance is cool. Nice stylish interior. Bar seating if you want. TV's. Open kitchen. Definitely recommend!!!! read more

Today is Feb 12 2025. Pick up food at 8:13 pm. Food was very mediocre. The worst wings I have ever tried...no flavor at all and tasted like from microwave. We debated at the register that it wasn't the right flavor, but was convinced that it is... Owner must be aware... The pasta that was ordered was their carbonera but we were given rigatoni noodles instead...with no mention about it what so ever. I normally never say anything but felt that after today's experience something had to be said so that improvements can be made and others can enjoy a good meal. read more

I can't speak to the service for dine in as I took out, but I ordered a gluten free pizza and salad from here. Everything was delicious, especially for Florida (I live in New Jersey). Florida and pizza are now like two peas in a pod thanks to the tremendous migration pattern of people from the north east cities. That being said, there is a lot of pizza competition in this area, and if you're struggling to decide where to eat your next Italian meal, this is certainly a viable option. The ambience is contemporary and hip with a stunning bar and the table service is phenomenal. It's easy to find, on the east side of the 41 in Osprey and there's convenient off street parking. Now keep in mind, the pizza is mediocre. While real pizza (in my opinion) is not overwhelmed by toppings, this restaurant seem to be thrilled to offer you all kinds of interesting pizza varieties, but when it comes down to a basic classic cheese pie, this one will not be at the top of your list. All the pies are 14 inches, which would be considered a small pizza. When you fold such a small slice it feels like a child's portion. Additionally, the pie we had was light on mozzarella cheese. There was no gooey string of cheese hanging down after you take your first bite. Would I recommend giving this restaurant a try? Sure, they might have exactly what you want. The crust reminded me of New York slices, although a bit smaller because the pizzas are 14". But the texture and taste is very New York. Frankly the closest I've found. Local Pizza probably does not possess the best name ever, but the pizza is definitely pretty solid at this establishment. The ambiance here definitely adds to a positive experience if you prefer a more upscale atmosphere than the stereotypical corner takeout pizzeria joint. The service here is definitely spot-on. They are friendly, professional and attentive. The pizza is definitely a great pizza with quality ingredients and attention to the details. The pizzas also have clever (at least in their opinion) names attached to them. I grew up in New Jersey and truly miss great pizza. In New Jersey, it seems that we have great pizza on almost every corner. When I moved to Florida in 2001, I was both shocked and more than a little dismayed to discover that great pizza (or even good pizza) was something that had to be hunted down and when found, it was a moment worthy of celebration (and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of pizza in hand?). All in all, I will give Local Pizza five stars (though I am still not a fan of their name). Local Pizza is a great place to head towards if you are in the mood for great pizza. read more

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to youngsters and adults alike. The two pizzas we ordered were Meet me at the corner and Margherita. For Entrees we had the Roasted Chicken, Chicken wings ( hot chilli and Garlic Parm), and Roasted Cauliflower! When Local Pizza is on their game, I would say this the best pizza in the area. However, Local Pizza has a real problem with being consistent. If you order a pizza here twice in the same week, you'll most likely have 2 separate opinions. Either perfectly cooked with all the specified ingredients (5 star) and friendliness from the staff, or you'll get an undercooked pie with missing basil from some rude cashier. 2 times I've also had their buffalo wings, and they dont put sauce on them, I send them back, and they make fresh ones that are correct and taste amazing. Again, consistency. They dont deliver anymore, with good reason, because they really sucked at it. They would straight up not deliver your food for some unknown reason. But they still push tipping on their carry out orders. Stop doing this. Put a tip jar and leave it at that. Wait times are anyone's guess, I'm told 5 minutes to pick up a slice, and it's never ready, kind of a nitpicky thing but annoying nonetheless. Expect your order to take 30 minutes. Some staff are the nicest I've ever met, while some make you feel like you're burdening them with your presence. Sometimes, you just never feel welcome. You'd think I'd rate this lower based on what I've said, but this place really is amazing when it's done right. I'd recommend it to anyone, but you may want to give it a few tries. read more
