Very happy with his responsiveness. We've used Thilo's services three or four times and he knows his stuff. So glad we found him!

Thilo Bendix rushed to get the necessary parts for my drop box from the PG&E power line and installed them quickly and efficiently.

I desperately needed a roof on my house before the rainy season started. I also wanted to get…read moresolar because it was clear that energy prices are going to continue to rise and solar is the smart way to go in this climate. I also replaced my gas furnace with a heat pump, so our electric needs are significant. A new roof with complete tear off and new plywood is a big project. I started by getting a quote from Solar City but they weren't able to coordinate with a roofer. Their leasing agreement (aka PPA) also had some provisions that seemed pretty predatory. I don't remember if Solar Sesame cold called me or I called them, but I do remember that Marcel did a great job of explaining the process. I'm pretty knowledgeable about these kind of projects so I asked somre very detailed questions. When he wasn't able to answer them immediately, he didn't front, he just said he didn't know and called the office for better info. That's the best response. I was a little concerned that Solar Sesame used an outsourced the roofing to a vendor. But given the time constraints, that was a good decision. Also, the vendor they chose, Arts Roofing, was a joy to work with. They communicated well, and when there was a small problem, they handled it professionally and entirely to my satisfaction. The solar panels went up super fast and well. They system was generating power the as soon as the installers were done. Unfortunately, PGE took their sweet time getting the final inspection done. So PGE got some free kwh from the system. On the good side, we didn't start paying for the system until after PGE did the final turn on, so no problem for us. I monitor the system via the PGE site as well as the Tesla app. Those two systems match up perfectly so I am happy with the amount of power being created and sold back to PGE. Also, we had a short power outage in our neighborhood, and it didn't impact us at all. The only reason I knew about it was that PGE alerted us via text. I looked out my window and noticed that none of my neighbors had their lights on. Between Marcel (sales) and Mei (project management), I'm very happy with the end result and the process on this large residential project.

I see that SolarSesame responded to my previous review. I wanted to highlight the lies in their…read moreresponse: 1. We have not agreed on a solution. SolarSesame was supposed to schedule the final PG&E inspection in March. They never bothered to try. I ended up having to schedule that myself because SolarSesame wouldn't. It took over 8 hours on the phone with PG&E to get access. 2. It is now 8 months later and the project is NOTin the final stage of the process. PG&E was here today, because I called to schedule the inspections that were SolarSesame's responsibility. PG&E indicated that the system would likely be failed and that more work would be required. 3. I had to demand that SolarSesame and GoodLeap stop calling me because they lied constantly. All communication is now via email so that I can have record of their constant lies and failures. 4. I have holes in my home's exterior because equipment has been moved countless times. I'm in the process of getting quotes to repair the damage to my home's exterior.

Go Solar Pros - Nice clean look. There are additional panels on the west side which are out of sight.

Making the switch to solar is a big decision and with so many options the choice can be daunting. I…read morereached out to at least 6 different companies for bids and a couple companies seemed trustworthy, several were way overpriced and one shady... Luckily for me one of the companies I reached out to was Go Solar Pros. Although they don't have a ton of reviews on Yelp (I think they mainly focus on commercial rather than residential) they seemed extremely knowledgeable, were very responsive and upfront with me. Their prices were also extremely reasonable. As such I decided on them. I corresponded with Conrad mainly and signed up during the busy season so I knew installation would be several months out. Conrad gave me a rough estimate which I expected to be a month or two sooner than the actual date, but to my surprise he was spot on. I really appreciate companies that are honest and upfront and Go Solar Pros has always been with me. Installation took place over a couple days unfortunately during the hottest days in the summer but the team were troopers. Everyone was polite, respectful and put up with all my technical questions and concerns. Not once did I feel as if I was a bother or inconvenience to them. The installation went well and looks clean. There was a hiccup at the end when it came to permits with the city, however GSP was on it and able to get the issue resolved in a reasonable amount of time. After the system was installed and payment completed there was an issue with one of the micro converters. GSP was great in troubleshooting, working with Enphase and ultimately replaced the micro converter under warranty. It is also great to work with a company such as Go Solar Pros that offers after sales support and is prompt with resolution even during the busy season. If you are ready to make the switch to solar, these are the guys to go with :)

I gave them 4 stars out of 5 because the process took much longer to be completed than I had expected.

The owner is a 27 year old kid in Dubai and they hired crew from the valley and got rid of us, the long time install crew without even formal layoff paperwork. I've now been informed by both of the electrical supply houses in Sonora that APS stiffed them both for thousands of dollars each. I'm sad to see a business that I worked at fail due to incompetent new management. For any former customers seeing repairs or service to their APS installed solar systems please feel free to reach out. The equipment has manufacturers warranties and I'm very comfortable diagnosing and repairing our systems.

Nate and Hayden came out for an estimate to install backup batteries and suggested we apply for the SGIP program to subsidize the cost. We found an amazing company to help with the application, and after months of effort, we secured approval and notified APS. That's when things fell apart. Communication from APS became sporadic at best. Nate and Hayden would occasionally respond with vague promises to start the installation "as soon as they finished their current project." The receptionist, Ashley, seemed unaware of any delays and repeatedly assured us we were on the schedule--but nothing ever progressed. Despite our $32,000 contract, APS showed little interest in following through. We made dozens of attempts to connect, but were met with excuses, silence, or--shockingly--hung up on when they realized who was calling. Because of the lack of connection with APS Solar, the batteries approved by PG&E's SGIP program were discontinued. We went out of our way to secure these batteries through the inventory department. Guess what! Nate and Hayden ordered the batteries--and then continued their ghosting behavior. Did they get them for someone else? It's baffling why APS would ghost us after a signed contract, especially for such a significant project. Whether it's a lack of expertise or poor internal management, something is clearly wrong. After reading similar reviews about their ghosting behavior (unfortunately, after signing our contract), it's clear this isn't an isolated incident.

When I called, I was treated very nicely on the phone and was able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. Diagostic appointments are $89 during the week and $149 on Saturday. Our technician, Wes, was very professional, on time and easy to talk to. He came out and checked the unit (we needed a different fuse) and turned the unit on and got it running. I was very happy with the service from the ladies in the office to Wes our technician. Just a heads up, they have a monthly maintenance plan ($12.95 a month) that they will try and sell you. It includes an annual check of your A/C unit and of your heater. Any additional work or service calls are then 20% off. Just an FYI, if it is a good deal for you, then I would suggest getting it, if not, they will still service you. Thank you Honey's for making our experience a Sweet One!

He also made a suggestion when he found out I had bad allergies and saw the 3 air purifiers throughout the house. lol. He recommended us to get the unit that plugs into out HVAC unit. So far I'm impressed of the install and can wait to see if it makes a difference, it should and kill any bacteria as well. Anyways I hope this review helps, tell them yelp sent you!!
