I have a rental property in sugar pine, we were effected by the bark bettle and the drought. We had numerous dead trees around our rental property. A tree went through our rental property at 4am during a big storm, luckily we were there. The same thing happened to 2 of my neighbors. We called Warren roofing in the morning on a Sunday, they told us their minimum was $1000 to show up and address the problems with our roof. I felt this was high, but they were at my house on the same day and covered my roof. They gave me a proposal to repair my roof on the same day. I accepted the proposal, they then came back and fixed my roof in 1 day. They deducted the cost of covering my roof from the cost of fixing my roof. My neighbors, who vbro their property as well, called them and declined the service and now are facing thousands of dollars in drywall and flooring damage. They have yet to be able to rent out their property. I'm very glad I paid the $1000 repair cost and avoided even more expenses as I have kept my cabin rented due to having the repairs done quickly and effectively! I am very grateful to Matt and his communication skills for getting back to me very quickly. His estimator, Johnny, was at my cabin the same day and gave an honest evaluation on the repairs and had a crew with him and had the roof covered the same day. The following week Billy came out and repaired my roof to original condition. I am so happy as this property is a second income for me and I did not loose any income this season. My neighbors however, have been waiting on repairs from roofers from the valley and 1 local as well, and have not had a consistent rental income on their properties as I have had. I am beyond grateful to Warren roofing and their amazing employees. I am grateful I went with a local roofing company and the cost was worth the outcome. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH! We hired them to repair a leak in roof and replace some damaged gutters. They came and put a cover over what they claimed was causing the leak, but as soon as it rained the water came pouring in again. At that point I called them to tell them i didn't feel they had found the cause of the problem and didn't few comfortable with them doing the stated repairs until they found the leak. They did hang our gutters and it is HORRIBLE! No drip edge installed on 3 of the sections of gutters hung, one section they bent the old drip edge off and back over the gutter they hung, one section the slope is away from the downspout and pools about 2in deep on the far end. Also I guess it was too much for them to pick up their work area because instead they left all the old screws and nails all over the ground where my dog and kids play every day. When I notified them I was not happy with their work and would be writing a negative review they threatened to sue me for slander. Well today I paid $500.00 for home inspection to prove they had done horrible work and that it would have to be redone. Guess what Warren Roofing now I have to legal proof I need and this is far from over! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves and I will be writing reviews everywhere I can to warn people about you! read more

Matt (owner) and Johnny (estimator/repair dude) are top notch in every way. I work in high end logistics, so timelines and communication are my forte... apparently this is also a forte of Matt and Johnny, which is INCREDIBLY RARE in the construction industry, and even more rare in the Sonora Area . Timeline of events: I call Warren roofing (based on online review) yesterday afternoon, they answer right away, then schedule to call me back in a while. Owner, Matt, texts me that evening apologizing for not circling back sooner and explains they will be out FIRST thing this morning. I am already impressed because I know roofers are getting tons of calls with the weather right now. Matt and I go over his process, I agree, and his crew shows up at the house at 7:05am this morning. Its currently 9:29am and the repair is done, with amazing communication, pictures and updates along the way. I am truly blown away. Oh, I should mention the repair they had to complete was a result of shoddy work done by another local roofing company at some point. Online review matter folks. Proactive service is hard to find. Honest service is hard to find. Timely service is hard to find. Matt has it all. I wish these guys did more than just roofing! read more

We are writing to say Matt and his teams did an excellent job installing our Decra Villa Metal Tile roof! A 10! Matt recommended Decra as a good choice to replace our 40yr old concrete tile roof in Strawberry (el. 5500ft). It was a hard job from what we saw. Especially like the way his Decra installer Bill used his experience and contacts with other Decra tile layers to improve the tile application using battens- that seems like a much better, more secure approach. Another nice feature was the addition of the fibre fire barrier material. Work with our skylights and chimneys also was handled nicely and attention to flashing details was evident. Also, foreman John was very attentive and took care to explain what the job plans were, coordinated the work and cleanup, arranged for inspections, and kept us up to date on progress etc. He responded to all our calls promptly. All the other workers also did a good job and were very polite. So overall, we like the excellent work Warren Roofing has done! Our neighbors also like it. Matt Warren re-roofed my house this past spring 2018. Matt was super easy to communicate with and responsive. His foreman and crew were very professional and responsive also. They did a terrific job and cleaned up well. The price was very competitive and fair. If you are looking for a new roof along with a trustworthy businessman, I would recommend Matt at Matt Warren roofing. For example, We had a rail that was inadvertently scratched during the roof removal process and Matt ordered the replacement parts. Despite several errors sending the wrong product by the parts company, Matt stuck to his word and continued to order the parts till they got it right. I know this cost Matt quite a bit in labor sending his guys out several times, but again he stuck to it and finished what he promised. I even paid Matt the full cost before all the fixes were done and he never once wavered in his verbal commitment to finish. Hard to find businesses like this in this day and age. We needed a new roof for our cabin in Big Trees Village since the old composition roof was 37 years old. I found Warren Roofing's 5 star rating and read all the reviews. I contacted Matt and he responded quickly with an inspection and estimate. We texted one another to finalize a start date and worked out the contract details. The roof was installed and when our children and grandkids arrived at the cabin we were all amazed at how clean the property looked. It was as if a new roof just suddenly appeared. It was beautiful to behold! The workmanship was great and the small details exceeded our expectations. My son, who paid for the roof, climbed up onto the porch cover to get a closeup view and gave it his two thumbs-up rating. Professional, punctual, attention to detail, fantastic communication skills, There aren't enough adjectives to describe Warren Roofing. We had the unfortunate luck of hiring an unlicensed contractor; we know now what questions to ask to prevent this in the future. Said contractor did a horrible job and cost tens of thousands of dollars of damage when we had our first rain. Warren Roofing responded to a call in the middle of the night, and we're on-site within an hour, completely stopped the water intrusion, and returned the following day to start the job. Matt's knowledge and professionalism we're unsurpassed compared to the other companies that bid on the job. No business can completely control its employees, but it can control how it takes care of an oversight. Warren's company installed the roof on our home before we even bought it three years ago. When I recently noticed an oversight, I called the office to see what they could do. Johnny called me back within a day and made arrangements to look at the issue. He then sent 4 men out to take care of the issue and had it taken care of in one morning. No charge to us. I really appreciate a company that stands behind its work, and that is probably one reason they are rated as a Master Elite Installer by GAF. Warren Roofing was one of several companies we contacted for estimates for removing and replacing our 25+ yr. old roof. We also wanted new rain gutters and downspouts, which Johnny said they'd be able to provide. The heavy storms were predicted and Matt had his crew patch my roof in anticipation as there was no time to effect the replacement. The roof was leaking and the storms were a day away. That patch held through the horrific and multiple wind and rain storms we experienced. The new roof and other repairs were completed within days of having nice weather.
