Late fall 2025, when we had water coming in around a loose plumbing vent flashing, Robbie came out, inspected, and tacked down the flashing to get us through the winter, no charge. We decided to replace our roof during the summer of 2026 after the leak, and after some damage caused by a falling tree branch, and Kerr Roofing's estimate was reasonable. Kerr Roofing did a good job, got the job done quickly, and they left it looking great, even the plumbing vents were painted to match the shingle color, and all new flashings were installed. I appreciated their cleanup, and successful efforts to protect our newly painted house, and newly refinished deck. Robbie sent photos of an area where underlying plywood needed to be replaced, which was completed for a reasonable extra cost. He described our roofing system and addressed concerns about damage from the tree branch. Communication was timely, thorough, and easy. The final test will come this winter with the predicted El Niño deluge.

He also made a great temporary repair to the problem which gives peace of mind with incoming snow over the next week. The fee for today was extremely reasonable and I look forward to the estimate for the full repairs. Nice guy, trustworthy, good at the job and did what he said he would do...can't ask for more. We signed a contract with Matison Roofing months in advance with a scheduled start date of June 1…read more The week before the project was supposed to begin, I repeatedly called and texted Cody to confirm the schedule and received no response. After finally getting him to return my call, I was told, at the last minute, that our project was being pushed back FIVE WEEKS, with no reasonable explanation. I later learned that additional work had been taken on and our previously contracted project had been bumped. Cody then gave us a new start date. When I simply asked him to confirm that he would honor the new date, he once again stopped responding. After several more attempts to reach him, he finally called me back; not to confirm the job, but to CANCEL OUR CONTRACT entirely. This is completely unacceptable business behavior, particularly in a mountain community where the construction season is limited and finding qualified contractors after major storm damage can be extremely difficult. We relied on his signed contract and scheduled start date for months, only to be pushed aside and ultimately left scrambling to find another roofer before winter. Extremely poor communication, unreliable scheduling, and very unprofessional treatment of a customer. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Matison Roofing.
