A large branch fell off a tree, hit the roof of my cabin and left a puncture in my roof. We had JMK Roofing replace the roof on our vacation home in Copperopolis following the storms this past winter. We couldn't be happier with the work they did. They went above and beyond what we would expect of any contractor doing this type of job. There were roof leaks over the laundry room, one of the bedrooms and in the garage. We called 5 roofers, including one who had done work for us before. The roofer who had done work before could not figure out where the leaks were coming from. Two roofing companies either didn't answer our calls or said they were too busy. Jordan, the owner of JMK Roofing, was very responsive and said that although they were very busy he would send someone out the following day. Because of multiple leaks and wood rot we decided to replace the roof. Jordan emailed us information on various Owens Corning shingles and said that he could show them to us if we came up to Copperopolis. We live 2 1/2 hours away and told him that we wouldn't be able to get up to Copperopolis for awhile. He right away offered to bring the roof samples to our house. We met at our daughter and son-in-law's house in Santa Clara and picked out the shingles. We got a bid from the 5th roofing company and they were higher than JMK. Storms kept JMK from starting the job right away so they tarped the places where the leaks were coming from in the meantime. When they did start the job Jordan kept us apprised of everything they were doing and sent photos of work in progress as well as video of the entire roof when completed. The clean up was great too. When it was time for us to get a new roof on our home, we sought three estimates from reputable, licensed Roofing Contractors. I won't bother to name all three as I choose not to shame anyone here. One provided an estimate promptly, almost double the amount we ultimately chose, one never showed up for the estimate appointment, and one was JMK Roofing, Inc. They responded to my request within 48 hours, Tyler called and made an appointment at my convenience and of a timely nature. Tyler came out on time the day he scheduled, made a thorough inspection of our roofing and explained the schedule of JMK. We received a detailed written estimate, outlining total cost as well potential issues which may occur. We decided that this was definitely the company we wanted to install our new roof! I will be honest here, we had to wait awhile, however we knew that would be likely, so we signed up. Tyler stayed in touch, coming out to bring us shingle and gutter samples, all high quality materials. We were originally scheduled for late January (2022) and he called to say they could start two weeks early if that was convenient. Heck Yeah it was convenient. My roof all of a sudden started to fail. Unfortunately, most good roofers were so busy that they were out 4-6 months. Many did not even give me the time of day or would come out to give me a bid. I called JMK Roofing and immediately spoke to the owner who was very nice and professional. He was also the only one willing to help me by offering to cover my roof temporarily until he could get to it in the Spring. I was still concerned as an early storm approached. Jordan repaired the metal roof on Bear Valley Silver Mountain Condos in 2017. A metal panel on the end of the roof slipped due to the high snow load. He was able to patch the roof to get us through the winter and then made the repair in the spring. He went out right away to asses the leak situation plus made a few other recommendations after looking at our roof which we were actually made aware of by the home inspector when we bought the house.
