Wow, Green Acres Construction went beyond my expectations! They remodeled my bathroom shower by taking out the fiberglass tub and shower. They were able to add lots of room all the way around, suggested the tile for me, floor and insets. They have an exceptional tile guy on board and with Matt and Casey leading their team including the finishing touches by Banks Glass I could not be happier. Great GC, done quickly, organized and very concerned with cleanliness and very concerned if I was happy as it proceeded. I can honestly say they are the only GC I will use!!! read more

We used Green Acres on some flooring, Pergo Max. I called around to find a flooring guy and the prices quoted were ridiculous. Green acres was fair but I gave them some material called "cabin grade" which is another phrase for this install is going to suck. They did a great job considering. Matthew and Casey installed hardwood floors in my mother's home. She was very impressed with ease and synchronicity in cutting each piece and laying it, they worked together like a fine-tuned machine. They even took the time to help install and get her gas cook stove started. Green Acres Construction renovated our beloved 1890's home in Angels Camp and we couldn't be happier about how everything turned out. The project included structural improvements, total renovation of the kitchen and two bathrooms, finishing out a sunroom, a laundry room/mudroom addition, and new flooring and paint throughout. In other words, it was a total gut of an old house that hadn't been touched since the 60's and needed some love. Casey and Matt handled everything - planning, permitting, estimating, and even helped us coordinate with the best local resources for materials and finishes. It was a challenging remodel due to the age and condition of the home, but Matt, Casey and the entire crew totally delivered on all aspects of the project, from beginning to end. It took years of mediocre contractors to find someone who is as reliable and competent as Green Acres. They have also repaired a leaking garage roof deck for us. Again fast, on budget and quality. We needed some work done to our cabin in Twain Harte; we searched high and low to find a contractor with no result. We then contacted Green Acres and got an estimate right away. After the work started, the communication was terrific; Casey frequently sent pictures to keep us updated. When we wanted to go up to see the progress, Casey made sure the place was cleaned up enough so that we could stay in the cabin. Green Acres Construction just built a 350 sq. ft. shop building for me at my home, and I'm more than pleased. They handled every detail from plans to permit issuance and performed the construction right on schedule, which was critical since this was built around winter weather. Green Acres Construction is an outstanding, diligent, and a value-based contractor. We hired them to rebuild and replace over 1,500 square feet of Trex decking as well as multiple staircases. The job was extremely complicated since the team had to replace over 100 pressure treated joists and five massive 18 to 20 ft beams that were as high as 25 feet off the ground. Since our company employs a variety of contractors to work with us in federal installations, we are extremely familiar with talented and less than talented vendors. The GAC team is at the top of the talented scale headed by Matt and Casey, and team members Rodney, Patrick and Elijah. They were always on time, focused on worker safety, completed incredible feats of construction utilizing ladders, ramps and pulleys, and kept us informed at all times of project costs. Their contractor pricing was very reasonable particularly based upon the complicated job they had to complete.
