Overall We have used Barrazas Construction multiple times and are left very dissatisfied. Ramon and his team do a solid job when it is their core competency, construction, but when they attempt to do something else, like wallpaper, the results were poor. The Good Ramon is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I believe he truly hopes to deliver quality results every time, but, unfortunately, hope is not a strategy. When we had two floods in our house that required replacing drywall, flooring, painting, and the wallpaper, Barrazas did a solid job with the construction elements. They have also cleaned our rain gutters and hung Christmas lights for us. We got a flat tire in our car and Ramon repaired it himself before we got home. We appreciated his efforts and intent. The Bad The quality of the results from Barrazas Construction were inconsistent and, more often than not, required us requesting them to come out to fix what should have been done correctly the first time. The hardwood flooring in our dining room was a long process and they almost did it correctly, but left a strip under the T molding without hardwood floor. The had to come out to complete the job. The wallpaper in our guest bathroom bubbled not long after they hung it. Ramon came out once with a syringe to glues and remove the bubbles. Unfortunately, the wallpaper has continued to bubble and he was supposed to get back to us to address, but we have not heard from him. This is a key issue. We have had to constantly pursue Ramon to get him to come back out to address mistakes and I have given up. He was quick to point out the one time when I was sick with Covid and didn't back to him right away, but he has failed to respond multiple times. His workers scratched our tile floor and he eventually told us to get someone else to polish the floor and he would pay for it. It put the burden of the fix on us and was added hassle. The storms last winter blew our chimney cap off and he took it to measure to determine the replacement. Never heard back from him. We paid to have our downspout drains addressed and it not finished even though we had paid him in full. In Conclusion Barrazas Construction does decent construction work at a reasonable price. He worked within the insurance payment we received for our floods. We wanted Barrazas Construction to be our go to contractor, but the quality of results is severely lacking and inconsistent. The lack of communication and follow-up is frustrating. We will not use their service again. read more

We were recommended from a family member about Barrazas construction company. It was a long waited project and there was a couple of things that I needed to get done in my home. From wall cracks, finishing my hardwood floors, painting trims, changing out wall switches, plugs, and face plates and door weather strips. We're in the process of listing our house and Barraza's team has done an amazing job helping us get ready. So far we've done a few projects outside, including repair of our deck, fence, full repaint of deck, and power washing... we are so pleased with how well they've turned out. He does an awesome job! Also, my front door needed to be replaced. I asked Ramon who was very polite and professional, friendly and approachable he came over and gave us a quote and a time line of 2-3 days for replacement and he was able to start the next day.
