When someone is passionate about what they do, it shows. That's the case for the owners of Bend Battery. Being a business which goes through a lot of batteries, we usually turned to a "store" which was convenient. Trouble was, batteries were not their specialty. Hence, when we'd have a battery problem, we'd not only have to wait to be serviced, but we weren't educated on what was the best battery for our vehicles/equipment. Today we had another battery die. My husband went to our usual "store", but the conversation he had with them only left him frustrated. He called me and asked where else he could get a new battery. I googled "batteries in Bend" and found Bend Battery. The woman who answered the phone not only had a pleasant voice, but showed so much enthusiasm, I told my husband to check them out. Not only did the owner diagnose we had previously been sold a battery with too low cranking amps, he took the time to educate my husband on batteries and more. My husband doesn't get impressed very easily, but when he came home with the new battery, he stated, "I'm impressed.". From now on, we'll use Bend Battery for all of our battery needs. It's now been almost two years since Bend Battery performed a huge upgrade on my motorhome. They installed a hefty lithium battery array, solar panels, upgraded electronics, and more. I've lived in the motorhome fulltime since Bend Battery did such an excellent job. Everything has worked and performed perfectly, 100% reliable, with no problems whatsoever. Even during a power outage in triple-digit, summer Texas weather, I was able to run my air conditioners off of the lithium batteries without running the generator! And the battery heating wrap keeps the batteries warm in extremely cold weather so they can be used and recharged regardless of the outside temperature. I'm very pleased with the upgrades and they were well worth it! I can't say enough about the excellent service and quality of Bend Battery. They did an outstanding job and I highly recommend them. Highly recommend going to Bend Battery!! I have a DIY conversation van and my solar stopped charging my battery after 6 months on the road. Setting up an appointment was quick and easy. The communication was very clear and I knew my rig was in good hands! They were adaptable to it being a DIY conversion and were able to diagnose and fix my solar quickly! I was in Bend on vacation when the batteries for my RV gave up the ghost. I called around, received a few quotes and ultimately chose Bend Battery. There prices were very competitive, not the cheapest, not the most expensive. What sold me was their customer service. Amazing. A local business and it shows. My second experience at Bend Battery was as satisfactory as the first. These guys know their business and are service oriented. Taylor assessed a bad battery visually and then with diagnostic tools.
