Extremely well-run and stunningly beautiful orchard. The pride of ownership and love show from the moment you arrive. Easy to navigate and great selection. Will be back.

We came back again for pears, peaches and apples. Had a great time. Our kids are nearly 4 and loved picking their own fruit.

    Bells orchard Apple tree!

So many apples! We had no problems finding this place and parking. It started to rain and they let us borrow an umbrella while we picked. How nice!! We picked enough apples and spent almost $40! They also grow pears but we only got apples. It's a fun experience. They also carefully moved our apples into a brown bag to take home. They didn't just dump them! I love how considerate they were. Will be back next time! Also the apples were all so tasty and fresh and healthy. We made several apple pies and had extra apples. So good! Highly recommend!

Fresh peaches right out of Bell's Orchard in Beaverton!

The farm store has a great selection and this year I bought apples for apple pie and they were perfect! One thing to note is that the donuts come with way more than we were expecting. I ate all of them but next time I might consider splitting it with a friend. I don't have kids but this place has a bunch of huge and super unique structures for kids to run around on including a giant structure of tires (looks safe) and tractors and stuff for them to run around on. Next time I have my niece's I'll definitely be bringing them here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful here and they have tons of parking. We are so lucky in Beaverton to have a place like this just 10 minutes down the road where it feels like you're hours outside the city. Everyone should stop by and support this local business!

There is always good music playing and it's nice and cool inside. All the veggies (and fruit sometimes) is laid out on tables and there are clear signs as to how much of each item you can take. For instance, you can take two leeks, 3 lbs of carrot, a bag of lettuce, etc. I really like the way they set this up, because if you're not a fan of something, you can skip it and not let it go to waste in your fridge or pantry. They send out emails to go with the week and give you storage information and cooking recipes for the food you are getting that week. It's a lovely touch and I appreciate the information, especially when it's with something I don't normally get on my own. It's a wonderful thing to support local farms and farmers, so I'm thrilled we found Working Hands Farm. I also suggest you follow their Instagram! They have beautiful examples of their weekly hauls and show you what life is like on the farm.

Apparently we came a little late in the season because people started to pick the blueberries around the first week of July. There weren't too many people here which was nice and the blueberry trees were mostly full of tiny blueberries or unripe ones. It took us a while to find the big blueberries, but we picked enough big blueberries to fill a small bucket. Next time we want to come here, we'll definitely come during the early blueberry season. The berries were still very sweet though! This farm is not too far out of Portland, which is so convenient since we don't have to drive too far to get here. It was really fun coming to this farm and we'll come back again next year! Near the farmhouse, they were also selling some other vegetables and we bought 2 fresh zucchinis for $1. I believe this farm also lets you pick other veggies too, but you might need to call ahead and see what's available to harvest.

When the whole SNAP benefits nightmare happened, many places were giving out to those of us who are on benefits. I was grateful and held onto my credit which worked out perfectly. I got a last minute invite for Thanksgiving with friends and I wanted to make a few dishes to bring. My $20 credit was good till 11/30 so I spent a little over $6 on my SNAP card. All their produce is from local farms and I was in shock as to how gorgeous it is. Certain root vegetables like rutabegga, turnips and pearl onions can be challenging to get but they had them and they were some of the best I've ever seen! I couldn't resist some lemons and blood oranges because they looked so amazing. I also had to get apples, kale, and green onions. I realized I was dancing around while bagging some produce to 'Can I Kick It?' by A Tribe Called Quest... they even play good music??? Also, it's not often that the owners are right there working there at a business. Plus they're super nice and clearly love what they do! Thank you so much Kristin and Jason!
