Their produce is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and we love that it is local, non-GMO, organic, and pesticide-free. It's pretty great to discover a new to you spot. I did not realize what an amazing selection they had! When the whole SNAP benefits nightmare happened, many places were giving out to those of us who are on benefits. I was grateful and held onto my credit which worked out perfectly. I got a last minute invite for Thanksgiving with friends and I wanted to make a few dishes to bring. My $20 credit was good till 11/30 so I spent a little over $6 on my SNAP card. All their produce is from local farms and I was in shock as to how gorgeous it is. Certain root vegetables like rutabegga, turnips and pearl onions can be challenging to get but they had them and they were some of the best I've ever seen! I couldn't resist some lemons and blood oranges because they looked so amazing. I also had to get apples, kale, and green onions. I realized I was dancing around while bagging some produce to 'Can I Kick It?' by A Tribe Called Quest... they even play good music??? I LOVE this place. Twice a week I try to go to buy fresh, ripe,flavorful produce at a very reasonable price. My last visit topped them all. I was craving a yearly "Roasted squash soup" which i make rather well using Hubbard squash. I asked for a recommendation figuring he may know more than I do about his products..HE DID! He suggested a squash ive never heard of, never used, the "Black Futsu". It was spot on..flavorful. rich, nutty and deep..WITH the skin on after roasting! I will use this from here on out.. Little cardamom, saffron and turmeric..splash of whole coconut milk for "fat". UNBELIEVABLE! GIVE THIS SHOP A TRY Their pears are always ready unlike grocery store also! read more

If you're looking for an assortment of high quality produce at amazingly low prices then this is the place to shop. We've started doing much of our produce shopping here because their prices are competitive with, if not better, than full size grocery stores. Even Winco and Walmart struggle to compete with how good these prices are. The quality of their product is also just top-notch. Apart from produce they also carry other local items. I'm partial to Romero's salsa and our house regularly fills our growler here with CBD infused drinks. The owners are also absolutely the nicest people around and you can tell how proud and passionate they are about their store and what they sell in it. We've been stopping here on a weekly basis for a long time. The staff here is great. Even if you don't like something that you purchased there, the staff always cheerfully makes it right, no questions asked. Local produce, of course and at reasonable prices. You can possibly get better prices at Walmart or some place like that but we prefer to support local businesses. 185th Produce is pretty much a "Farmers Market" venue except that this is a permanent business location (formerly a filling station). Parking at the business can be iffy since they only have 4 or so parking spots. But there is ample parking on the side street right behind the place. read more

Cliff's Notes: vegetables and dairy great, fruit mostly not. The only fruit we have bought here that did not either mold up or spoil within a couple of days was a watermelon. Thus, except for melons, we're pretty much done there. The veggies however have been quite good. I have to give the staff low marks for social distancing and masking. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I recognize it's a tough situation because the space is kind of cramped, but retail workers who don't wear masks are basically saying "I don't care about your health." Since I'm wearing a mask to protect them, that doesn't fill me with joy. We will keep going for what they do well. read more

I love going here for my local fruit. The only problem is parking, but you do have places around to park. I think they should make their parking lot all handicapped parking. I use to visit them before they moved here, and feel they had more space at their old location, but this seems to work better here. I hope they are here for years to come. read more

We found what was left of gel capsules in our blackberry cider jug with the inscription A33 on the side (looked it up typically treats bronchitis but can have some serious side effects). When we went to go ask staff the next day the girl behind the counter didn't believe us but gave us a free refill anyways? I'm mixed because it probably wasn't on purpose, but buying a drink that's been drugged with someone else's (prescription) medication? Unacceptable. read more
