They have a fun scenic train ride ($5 per passenger except infants under 1 are free). They have a playground including slides, tunnels, and a sandpit. They also are hosting story time in the summer 1x per week. I have been loving the pastries they have especially the strawberries and cream croissant. And in season are the strawberries which are $2 per pound if you pick them yourself!

The farm store has a great selection and this year I bought apples for apple pie and they were perfect! One thing to note is that the donuts come with way more than we were expecting. I ate all of them but next time I might consider splitting it with a friend. I don't have kids but this place has a bunch of huge and super unique structures for kids to run around on including a giant structure of tires (looks safe) and tractors and stuff for them to run around on. Next time I have my niece's I'll definitely be bringing them here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful here and they have tons of parking. We are so lucky in Beaverton to have a place like this just 10 minutes down the road where it feels like you're hours outside the city. Everyone should stop by and support this local business!

I was craving a yearly "Roasted squash soup" which i make rather well using Hubbard squash. I asked for a recommendation figuring he may know more than I do about his products..HE DID! He suggested a squash ive never heard of, never used, the "Black Futsu". It was spot on..flavorful. rich, nutty and deep..WITH the skin on after roasting! I will use this from here on out.. When the whole SNAP benefits nightmare happened, many places were giving out to those of us who are on benefits. I was grateful and held onto my credit which worked out perfectly. I got a last minute invite for Thanksgiving with friends and I wanted to make a few dishes to bring. My $20 credit was good till 11/30 so I spent a little over $6 on my SNAP card. All their produce is from local farms and I was in shock as to how gorgeous it is. Certain root vegetables like rutabegga, turnips and pearl onions can be challenging to get but they had them and they were some of the best I've ever seen! I couldn't resist some lemons and blood oranges because they looked so amazing. I also had to get apples, kale, and green onions. I realized I was dancing around while bagging some produce to 'Can I Kick It?' by A Tribe Called Quest... they even play good music??? Also, it's not often that the owners are right there working there at a business. Plus they're super nice and clearly love what they do! Thank you so much Kristin and Jason!

We ended up getting ten pounds of Canadian Harmony and Starfire peaches. I can't forget the lovely aroma of the freshly picked peaches. It was 5 star friendly service from the entrance to checkout. They answered all our questions as first timers. They provided boxes with wagons available. They told us the row numbers of the available peaches. There is also a board after the entrance that listed the row numbers and peach varieties. Check their website first before going to confirm if they are open because hours may vary. It appears to be updated daily. When I checked in the morning, it showed the hours for that day were 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. It helped us plan our day as we decided to arrive sooner than later as the parking lot filled up. We are now going to include peach picking as part of our annual summer activities.

Parking can get filled up quickly but everyone was so friendly and helpful with tips about picking and the locations of the different varieties. The young man in the golf cart made sure me and my toddler were on the right path and also checked on and chatted with other people too. When we went there were Red Star, Vivid, and Starfire so we went around and picked a few of each. Check out was easy peasy with their scale and they also had local products and picked peaches ready for purchase. The young ladies at check-in were so nice and helped take pictures of us by their "Just Peachy" sign and put my wagon back for me (since I had my toddler with me and am also very pregnant lol). The service is amazing here, turned out to be a fun family activity, and of course the peaches were juicy and sweet. The season is short so please go and get your peaches and support this local business!

When inside the large red shop, so many options of local food, beverage & handcrafted items for sale: cookies, pastries, candy, honey, fresh milk, meat, wine, coffee, sandwiches, chips & so much more. Once done wandering thru or shopping, there is the expansive views out back where one can picnic on the grass, sip some beverages or munch on goodies purchased inside. Also available are table & chairs on the side of the market structure that allows for looping back inside or towards the front parking lot. The grounds are nicely manicured with a variety of beautiful specimen plants to be in awe of. Hopefully you'll go with intent to slow down, relax, linger & enjoy this jewel of a place to visit. I just wish this market was more of an actual legit market and less tourist gift shop vibe. On to the details of my visit: I'd been looking forward to a solid local market and this one had been on my radar for a while. Unfortunately this wasn't it. It felt more like a typical Oregon roadside tourist trap with the standard "Made in Oregon" stale chocolates, granola, sweets, etc. The produce sections was relatively tiny and only about half of it looked really good. The frozen meat sections was almost entirely out of red meat, there was a tiny amount of fish and then frozen chicken too. However, the prices are tourist gift shop too. Think $10/lb for asparagus, $18/lb for chicken thighs, $10 for a dozen chicken eggs, $14/lb for ground beef, etc. I eventually just looked through their baked goods and noted the bread was date stamped that it was baked 2 days prior and priced at for a $14 loaf of sourdough. My favorite Portland bakeries all offer freshly baked (as in that same day) sourdough and other loaves for $9-$12. Anyhow, I ended up choosing some local brownies and which looked good but ended up being chalky, dry and clearly several days old. I'd love to see a larger selection of prepared foods to enjoy on the pretty back patio too. They just had a bunch of those pre-packaged sandos & wraps like one finds in an airport. Why not add a little pizza oven and or grill for weekends? Anyhow, there's much potential with such a pretty place like this one but it isnt quite there enough for me to make the 30min drive from Portland again.

But i guess everyone was watching the weather report like we were & came when it was supposed to clear up. We decided to pick our own pumpkin, so we caught the hayride. We ended up going with 2 little ones as it seemed like a good idea as we werent planning on leaving it & had to carry it around. We then got hungry & opted for some Mexican corn, hot dog, & apple cider donuts. Everything was so yummy, especially the donuts. The line was so long, but worth the wait as they were made fresh. Im so glad we came prepared for walking in the patch. We wore our rubber boots which then proceeded to be caked in mud at the bottom.
