A favorite place to visit during pumpkin season. I love the spaciousness on the lawn near the tether ball area. There's also kiddie rides and play areas. There's a variety of animals to see including goats, bunnies, ponies & turkeys. There's plenty of aesthetically pleasing areas for picture taking & gram photos. My favorite part of Fir Point is the food and drinks. Their hard pumpkin spice cider is the best I've ever had (although a 12oz can is expensive at $7 each). Their bakery is simply amazing also, they sell dozens of different sandwiches, wraps, salads or paninis that are all made to order with fresh ingredients. You can take home loafs of their homemade bread and I highly recommend the jalapeño cheddar bread and the butter flake rolls. read more

I've been to Fir Point Farms a handful of times and always enjoy my visits. We stopped by for a quick bite and I shared the bacon, apple and cheddar panini and it hit the spot!! The lunch came with chips and a cookie, and while their food is maybe a little pricey, I'm not complaining as my guess is they have to price it that way in order to be sustainable. I had such a lovely time at Fir Point Farms this weekend! I've passed this farm near the Aurora Airport many times over the years, but I think it's now one of my favorite pumpkin patches! My friends and I were looking for one location that served all of our needs for a fun-filled day with the kids. During their Harvest Festival (Late Sept-Late Oct) the farm offers multiple options for dining, as well as games, hayrides and mini-train rides, as well as the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and market. The farm is easily accessible from 1-5, just south of Wilsonville. It took us less than a half an hour to drive from downtown Portland. The farm offers extensive parking options in an open, grassy field with gravel lanes. They have folks who direct traffic, and help prevent the enevitable traffic jams that occur at events like this. Oh, my goodness, there were activities galore! The kids loved playing in the giant playground, feeding the farm animals (the goats in particular were really fun to watch), the Polka Dot Express mini-train ride, as well as paintball target practice, pumpkin painting and so much more! The restaurant serves delicious sandwiches, both hot and cold, as well as polish dogs and corn dogs. I ordered a tuna melt that hit the spot after a morning full of activity. Their fresh apple cider was delightful on an unusually warm fall day, as well. If you're looking for some fall activities to do as a family, Fir Point Farms should definitely be near the top of your list. read more

After driving by every year in my way to Swan Island Dahlias, I finally stopped in. Going forward, this will be my routine when driving out to Canby! It's a charming, quaint farm store, a slice of nostalgia for many of us who remember the simpler times. There are baked goods, fresh fruit and veggies, pickled veggies, honey, Amish popcorn, old fashioned candy, flour, oats, and even several gluten free boxed baked mixes for purchase. The sandwiches are stellar! At first I thought the $12-14 price was high, but the sandwiches are massive and made with high quality ingredients. Enough to share or two meals. The cinnamon ins are massive and I had to demonstrate willpower not to purchase one! Next time. Plenty of picnic tables outside - but the country music is quite loud so I chose to sit on the field. There are animals for the kids to visit and feed. In the fall there is a corn maze and pumpkin patch. Will definitely have stop here whenever heading to Swan Island Dahlias to grab sandwiches and snacks for a picnic. I love this farm. Very family friendly. I have gone several times when I assisted children with special needs on public school field trips. Now I go with my grandchildren. It has gotten more expensive over the years, but isn't everything. Still very fun. Of course, it is a must during the fall harvest season. Fir Point is the bees' knees! They offer a great selection of sandwiches - that always come with chips and a freshly made cookie - and the setting is idyllic. I love how many bread options they have, and the best part is that all the options are GREAT. They're is a delicious bread for everybody! (They do have a gluten free bread and cookie option, too!) The cinnamon roll recipe must have been sent directly from God because they are truly heavenly. Best cinnamon roll I've ever had. No going back to any other; nothing can compare to Fir Point's. When the baby goats are out, it's a party! But even without them, hanging out in the grass is a wonderful time spent. They have music playing and it generally just makes you feel good to pull up to this place. And all the service I've had here has been great. Just visited for the first time yesterday. Such a sweet little slice of Oregon. We really enjoyed the animals & farm trails. Lunch was good. Our order was up quick and we enjoyed eating at hen tables out on the grass. I couldn't eat in the patio because the music was soooo loud. That's my one complaint. It's excessively loud in my opinion. Another thing was I wasn't sure who to buy feed from for the animals. It's October and that means pumpkin and cider season! Fir point is different from those other farms in that it is free to park, free to enter, and free to do things like pet the animals. Did I mention, you can buy fresh, hot , apple cider doughnuts. Sooooo good. Gran a glass of apple cider for the perfect pairing. They also serve sandwiches, hot dogs, chili, ice cream and several other food items. You can also purchase pumpkins, squash, pie pumpkins, and other gourdeous veggies. ;) And if you wanna wear out the kids, they sell tickets or an unlimited use wristband to hay rides, a corn maze, paint ball pumpkin target practice, the polka dot express, giant slides. There's even beer and cider for the adults and teenagers will love playing volleyball on they several courts. Kids will enjoy seeing the goats, chickens, turkeys, pigs, and miniature ponies too. This is such a cute little farm. You can purchase food from the store and eat outside on the picnic tables. They also sell animal feed so that you can feed the animals. My favorite were the goats, as they were the most lively (they did have two rabbits but they already have food in their cages so they were not as active). What a great experience at fir point farm! I had the opportunity to celebrate my boyfriends 30th birthday with friends family. The people at the farm were so accommodating. We were able to spend the day at the farm playing games, visiting the animals, and eating all the delicious food the farm offers. We ordered platters of the sandwiches and wraps. All of them were so delicious. I highly recommend trying the chicken Caesar wrap, turkey bacon avocado and southwest chicken sand which. Also each sand which comes with a gluten free option with gluten free chips and cookie available. They are known for their rolls. You must give it a try! We came here for a private birthday party at the reservable picnic table shelter. The four children with us (ages 6 and 8) had constant smiles on their faces meeting and feeding the many animals, playing inside Noah's Ark, the nut house, climbing on the genuine but stationary tractors, going down slides, washing hands outside...I can't think of everything they did but they thoroughly enjoyed playing on all that was available and as mentioned, feeding the animals! It was outdoor, country perfection. Oh and the lunch we ordered was excellent. Top quality. Nice menu selection, nicely presented and delicious. The music was great too. Holy Cow. Stay with me for a bit...I'm at a local high school volleyball championship tonight and I'm greeted by 2 young girls and a table full of donuts. The kids are raising money for an under-privledged elementery school in Portland (not their school). These kids sell me the most amazing apple cider donuts. I go back for seconds and then thirds. Turns out that the donuts are from Fir Point Farms. Aside from how stinkin good they are, it turns out that Fir Point donated 300 of them for the girls to sell. (Yes, if I had read the sign, I would have known earlier) Amazing donuts and the willingness to donate 300! I say bravo Fir Point. We have been back three times in four days. The bakery is exceptional. The cinnamon rolls are made daily and when they are gone, that's it. This is one of the best places to go during COVID. They have hand washing stations, ample outdoor seating, allow animals on a leash, have tractors and hay to climb on, walking trails, volleyball nets, tetherball, and GOATS! best of all the sandwiches are fantastic. read more

As a long-time customer of both Country Grains and Fir Point Farms, I'm waiting to see how the combined business works out. Country Grains operated a sandwich shop with catering and booths at the Lake Oswego and Beaverton Farmer's Markets for years. Fir Point Farms is the place I've taken my boys during the harvest season for hay rides and cider donuts since they were babies. While Country Grains was fabulously consistent, Fir Point Farms has changed hands at least four times in the past decade by my count. Every season rules would change, amenties would come and go, and I was never sure whether I would love it or be indifferent. So I'm very optimistic that Jack and Jessica Romaine will put their own stamp on the business. Once they sort out the details, I'm hoping that Fir Point Farms will again be a place I love, with or without the kids. After their renovation, the Country Store is now primarily a deli with much more seating than Country Grains every had in Wilsonville. The menu looks the same, but now they have a few other food and retail items. $5 apple and marionberry mini-pies, honey and home decor items. The elevated dining area has a handful of tables and the best touch is the hand-painted presidential pumpkins that line the walls. Since it is winter, the nursery and country store aren't up and running, so time will tell what they will offer during peak season. This was a great visit! My mom and I saw this on our to meet someone and stopped on our way back home. What caught my eye was the bee hives in the field and then it was the baked goods sign. We bought the buns and cinnamon rolls. They were huge and so good. A few days later and they still taste like we got them fresh. The honey is amazing! It's clover honey.
