    Bacon, Apple and Cheddar Panini
    Mandi R.

I've been to Fir Point Farms a handful of times and always enjoy my visits. We stopped by for a quick bite and I shared the bacon, apple and cheddar panini and it hit the spot!! The lunch came with chips and a cookie, and while their food is maybe a little pricey, I'm not complaining as my guess is they have to price it that way in order to be sustainable. The kids love to explore the grounds and feed the farm animals too. Be sure to grab a cinnamon roll on your way out!

I had such a lovely time at Fir Point Farms this weekend! I've passed this farm near the Aurora Airport many times over the years, but I think it's now one of my favorite pumpkin patches! My friends and I were looking for one location that served all of our needs for a fun-filled day with the kids. During their Harvest Festival (Late Sept-Late Oct) the farm offers multiple options for dining, as well as games, hayrides and mini-train rides, as well as the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and market. The farm is easily accessible from 1-5, just south of Wilsonville. It took us less than a half an hour to drive from downtown Portland. The farm offers extensive parking options in an open, grassy field with gravel lanes. They have folks who direct traffic, and help prevent the enevitable traffic jams that occur at events like this. Oh, my goodness, there were activities galore! The kids loved playing in the giant playground, feeding the farm animals (the goats in particular were really fun to watch), the Polka Dot Express mini-train ride, as well as paintball target practice, pumpkin painting and so much more! The restaurant serves delicious sandwiches, both hot and cold, as well as polish dogs and corn dogs. I ordered a tuna melt that hit the spot after a morning full of activity. Their fresh apple cider was delightful on an unusually warm fall day, as well. If you're looking for some fall activities to do as a family, Fir Point Farms should definitely be near the top of your list.

After driving by every year in my way to Swan Island Dahlias, I finally stopped in. Going forward, this will be my routine when driving out to Canby! It's a charming, quaint farm store, a slice of nostalgia for many of us who remember the simpler times. There are baked goods, fresh fruit and veggies, pickled veggies, honey, Amish popcorn, old fashioned candy, flour, oats, and even several gluten free boxed baked mixes for purchase. The sandwiches are stellar! At first I thought the $12-14 price was high, but the sandwiches are massive and made with high quality ingredients. Enough to share or two meals. The cinnamon ins are massive and I had to demonstrate willpower not to purchase one! Next time. Plenty of picnic tables outside - but the country music is quite loud so I chose to sit on the field. There are animals for the kids to visit and feed. In the fall there is a corn maze and pumpkin patch. Will definitely have stop here whenever heading to Swan Island Dahlias to grab sandwiches and snacks for a picnic. Oh - don't forget to check out the pumpkins on the high shelf along the perimeter of the store area. every president has their own pumpkin art!

Very friendly service. Fresh Apple cider was delicious. Corn maze was fun! Highly recommend !

Our children had a great time today on the last day for the patch. Mahalo for having us!!! We will be back next year

This was our first time here and so glad we came! The customer service was pretty awesome.. The gal in the ticket booth said we should come back a quarter to 4 to get the all day tickets half off (which we did) The woman in the bakery was super nice when she gave me information about the patch. Also gave us free ice cream! The grounds were well kept, Mahalo for having us we will be back next year!

Just visited for the first time yesterday. Such a sweet little slice of Oregon. We really enjoyed the animals & farm trails. Lunch was good. Our order was up quick and we enjoyed eating at hen tables out on the grass. I couldn't eat in the patio because the music was soooo loud. That's my one complaint. It's excessively loud in my opinion. Another thing was I wasn't sure who to buy feed from for the animals. I think during the week maybe they are short staffed and the deli is the only place to make purchases? I'll have to go back on the weekend and see if there's a difference.

This is my favorite farm! The lady at the front is a ray of sunshine. Everyone is so friendly and I just love it here! The sandwiches are amazing I get the tuna panini and my daughter is gluten free and they have gluten free bread so they get a PB&J that comes with a gluten free cookie. We also get food to feed the animals such a fun day! Also do not miss the October festivities!

It's October and that means pumpkin and cider season! Fir point is different from those other farms in that it is free to park, free to enter, and free to do things like pet the animals. Did I mention, you can buy fresh, hot , apple cider doughnuts. Sooooo good. Gran a glass of apple cider for the perfect pairing. They also serve sandwiches, hot dogs, chili, ice cream and several other food items. You can also purchase pumpkins, squash, pie pumpkins, and other gourdeous veggies. ;) And if you wanna wear out the kids, they sell tickets or an unlimited use wristband to hay rides, a corn maze, paint ball pumpkin target practice, the polka dot express, giant slides. There's even beer and cider for the adults and teenagers will love playing volleyball on they several courts. Kids will enjoy seeing the goats, chickens, turkeys, pigs, and miniature ponies too. There really is something for everyone at any price point. I'd easily recommend anyone to go hear.

Are they doing any activities during Covid?

Yes, a few less though. They have the pumpkin patch, will have a corn maze, the zoo, and some other stuff.

    Are dogs allowed?

Yes I did see a couple of dogs ?

    Are there u-pick pumpkins?

Yes. There is a pumpkin patch if that's what you mean by u- pick. Not sure if they are attached to the vine still.

The blackberries and Marionberries, my fave. They are big, plump, and bursting with flavor. Plus, they are so much easier to pick at a farm where the bushes are staked to a trellis vs. the wild ones I pick on the side of the road. Don't get me wrong, I do pick the wild ones, but I'm usually covered in juice and my hands and arms get all pricked. When I'm here, I pick a huge bucketful so I can make pies. The berries are so sweet I just add a little sugar and lemon juice and the pies are perfect. Also pick enough so I can enjoy some plain, by the handfuls. Their blueberries are sweet and delicious, too! I make space in my freezer so I can have them throughout the year. If you don't want to pick your own, no worries, they sell containers and flats in their cute country store along with other food and gift items. This family farm is so picturesque! It's a lovely setting and it's well run with friendly staff. If you are picking fruit, definitely go in the morning to avoid the sun beating down on your back. And wear a hat!

I have taken to stopping here first on my weekly shopping trips. I try to purchase the majority of my produce at Draper Farms, then supplement as needed at the standard grocery store. I live pretty rurally, so I generally don't make it into town for the Thursday farmer's market like I wish I could. Draper Farms is the perfect alternative that I can hit Saturday, Sunday, or any day of the week that is convenient. Offerings cycle with the seasons, but they are growing lots of great stuff here, and there is always an excellent variety of options. A few of my favorites are their strawberries, radishes, corn, leeks, collards, and herbs. No matter the time of year they will have some sort of lettuce, cabbage, spinach, or other greens. I recently grabbed some divine kiwi berries, finished in a single day, and have dreamed of them since. For autumn, they offer an array of pumpkin varieties for 30 cents a pound which is the least I've seen anywhere, and much prettier than what you can find at a grocery store. They also had fall décor, including stunning glass gem corn. There is even a separate fresh cut flower stand! They accept cash, check or Venmo (the latter is such an appreciated option, yay!). They have some bags available, though you should bring your own if you can. Prices are generally less than the grocery store, and for much higher quality produce! There is a good amount of parking. They also offer a CSA.
