Kinda expensive if you are doing all the attractions during harvest fest.. but it's like Disney land harvest festival. We plan a full day we plan to spend money on food drink and rides. We always have a blast! If you go to the shops near the back the prices for ciders are great. And indoor plants .. can't beat it! This place is the Disneyland of pumpkin patches! Tons of activities, lots of food, great photo ops, and all around a great way to spend your day. We tried the cider doughnuts which were AMAZING. We went down slides, got lost in the dark maze, checked out the animals, sifted for treasure, shot the apple cannon,and did the obstacle course! I had friends from out of town come and they vowed to make this a yearly tradition! If you don't like crowds or standing in line then this is not the place for you. But if you have time to check this place out do it! It's $30 per person. read more

They had so many great options here. We picked up apple cider donuts, apple cider, carmel apples, and Marion berry preserves. I was dying to try the apple cider slushy, but I didn't have enough room! We decided to go on a weekday so it wasn't busy, and I recommend going to only visit the store to pick up your goodies! No admission fee and you control throughout the store! This place was fire. Cost to get in is a little steep, but once you get in, 90 percent of the activities were free. In addition, the food was not only on point but priced very well. Bag of mini apple cider donuts was $6. Got two for my friend. I tried to be brave and do one of the slides. I got to the top and panicked at the disco and sat there for 10 min contemplating my life choices as children half my height zoomed down with no issues..one of the employees noticed my reluctantly to break an old person bone so she talked me up and told me she would even go down the slide with me. So we waited and waited until there wasn't a line so she could come down and it never happened so I bravely did it on my own. Props to the employee. She was amazing. Also the lines seem very long but moved pretty quickly to my surprise. I would do this again but plan a bit better to try and hit up more of the activities. We did do the dark maze and that was nerve wracking. It was exactly how it was advertised..I just realized in the middle of the jaunt that a dark maze was in fact not on my bucket list. All and all a good time. Seems like everyone in my party was either satisfied or hand fun..there were two teenagers, a preteen, a 3 year old and a 3 month old as well as 3 adults. Good mix. Oo and for those of you mamas out there, they have like one of those rooms where you can feed your baby spawn. That was helpful. read more

Bauman's farm is big! They have everything you could ever want for landscaping. They hold a spring garden fair, which brings extra vendors in so lots of shopping! If you have kids they have a lot of playground area and a store filled with lots of goodies! read more

On our way North to Portland from Eugene, my wife suggested we stop at Bauman's Farm to pick up some gifts for neighbors who watched our home while we were out of town. She had not been here in over 15 years and I've never been here. She remembered this as a great place to visit in the fall when her son was a child. We followed the signs and parked in the area called the "Backyard" which includes multiple grain silos converted into covered spaces for use. I quickly realized this is not a simple farm stand. Bauman's is HUGE and we believe it is a year round space to visit. You could literally spend the whole day here and we only scratched the surface on what there is to see and do. We walked from the parking area to the main building taking in all the sights along the way. We were amazed with the size of the hanging baskets. While they all looked beautiful, there were some extra large ones that would be awesome if you have the space to showcase them. We also snapped a few pictures of the silos and trellis structures that my wife liked for inspiration back at home. We entered the farm market which leads customers through the fresh produce. The bakery is at the back of the main building and contains items such as fresh doughnuts, various breads, pies, and cookies. The building looks to be connected to several others, maybe it was expanded once or twice or more throughout the years but it seems cohesive and well arranged. We saw a coffee counter where your coffee order can be placed along with a deli area as well. Thankfully, there were many items to choose from in the way of gift type items. We ultimately chose Oregon Hazelnut Chocolates, Huckleberry Pancake mix and a Bauman Farm canvas bag which my wife wanted for herself. We thought the Hazelnut and Huckleberry treats were perfect for our neighbors since Oregon is known for both. Overall, this was a great experience and we've already talked about making this a regular stop when we visit family in Oregon. We highly recommend to others! read more

Bauman's is a farm with it's activities that features a plant nursery, a pumpkin patch and other appealing fun farm activities for families to go to. But not only that. They also make their own cider! And that is what my main focus is. Steve and I recently tried their Fresh Hopped Strata cider. A very refreshing cider that of course has apple flavor that's very refreshing but also has hoppy and grassy flavor features as well. I do enjoy hopped ciders as I feel they have something just a bit different to offer than typical cider and my experience with Bauman's continues the stretch of offering something a bit different (but enjoyable) when it comes to their fresh hopped cider. read more

Bauman's Farm was nothing short of EPIC. We to SO lucky because we got cool weather AND sunshine for our day there. It blew my mind how absolutely HUGE the property was. Our friends had suggested taking the kids there for fun and pumpkins, so having never been, we said why not?! We got the wrist bands for the kids so they could do any activity they wanted. They jumped, slid, did the fun house maze that was dark, the corn maze, and much more. My friend got the apple cider donuts, and while we waited in line we checked out the cool donut making process right in front of our eyes. It was really neat!! We didn't have a need to interact with staff at all aside from paying for entry, and grabbing food and treats (the kids shared cotton candy!) But the staff were all pleasant and seemed to be enjoying their days. I loved the hayride, corn maze and pumpkin patch. Our friends were smart and told us we should get there early, and thankfully we did! It was packed first thing and when we left, it was SUPER busy! Just check your receipt before leaving the store. Would go again someday. They have a deli/coffee shop & the menu looks enticing. The Amaretto Cherry Preserves was tasty but I was disappointed because there was no Amaretto flavor! That was the only reason I bought it. All in all it was a nice experience. read more

Had a lovely time. Took my boyfriend there to his first ever pumpkin patch. Lots of good pumpkins in the patch to choose from. (1/3 pumpkins I got, oddly started growing mold within 2 days of bringing them home which has never happened to me before, but I think it was just a fluke.) Festivities were great, pitch dark maze was freaky, food was good, enjoyed the apple tastings, lots of plants available to purchase, and good cider. I visited Bauman's on 10/12/2024 with my family for fall festivities. We frequent Bauman's at least once per quarter, and I have to say, this visit was concerning. We visited the "porta potties" twice during our 3+ hour visit and during both instances the freestanding hand washing station with soap and water was out of both soap and water. Not only is this a high-volume time for both children and adults, but we are entering flu/RSV/COVID season. While I understand hand sanitizer is effective for non-visibly soiled hands, but a farm event in October is going to come with lots of dirt. Additionally, hand sanitizer is unacceptable after bathroom use and for some gastrointestinal bacteria that some people carry even if they feel well. At $30 per person, it should be expected that this business provide adequate hygiene resources to its patrons, as well as the people serving food and drinks. read more

Wow! Outstanding! This family run market and garden store is everything! Wish Bauman's was closer to Portland So I could shop here frequently. The variety and quality of their produce, bakery, hard cider and nursery plants is just fantastic. Let's start with the nursery. It's massive. The greenhouses are filled with stunning hanging baskets with enough room to walk around easily so you can see, inspect and make your selections. There are shade and sun greenhouses that contain all the different varieties of annuals so you can make your own planters and add beautiful pops of color to your deck, yard or patio. So many perrenials as well, all healthy and in great condition. Lots of plants for indoors as well. With all the time we have had to spend within our home, having live plants brings nature, and it's calming effect, inside. Batman's has lots of green plants plus the increasingly popular succulents and air plants, all at fair prices. And of course there are plenty of indoor and outdoor planters in all colors, shapes and sizes; garden accessories; and yard art to add a touch of whimsy which is always a good idea! While outside, visit the barn to see, pet and feed the most adorable and very frisky goats! Seriously, so much fun even for adults. There is a sheep, llama and lots of colorful chickens wandering around. Plus a playground for the kids with plenty of hand washing stations available. Now, to the market. Wow! So much more than I was expecting. So many different sections, each arranged thoughtfully showcasing quality food and gift items. For gifts, there was an entire display dedicated to kitchen and serving items with bright yellow lemons. Aprons, serving trays, platters, bottles, napkins, vases - all Beautiful. Jewelry, cards, kitchen gadgets, glassware, pitchers, vase, hats - the gift area was quite impressive. Bauman's makes many of the products sold in the food area or they are manufactured using the fruit from their farm. They have an inside bakery and the items they turn out are stellar. I bought an apple cider doughnut and when I got to my car I ate it and immediately wished I had bought the bag of 6! Best ever. They bake different types of bread - pumpkin, banana, zucchini, sandwich bread - and lots of cookies, scones, bars, pies and cakes. Get the Bliss bar! A shortbread crust covered with marionberries topped with shortbread crumble, drizzled with white chocolate. Yep, that's why it's called Bliss! There are jams, syrups, honey, bbq sauces. A small but excellent variety of high quality produce and fruit. Plus Willamette Valley Cheeses, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, fresh eggs and milk in the refrigerator area. Along the back wall is a counter where you can buy freshly made sandwiches and snacks; a separate full coffee bar; an ice cream counter; and an area that serves their fresh hard and sparkling cider. I was so impressed. Everyone was friendly and helpful as I was asking lots of questions! I feel like I discovered a gem but it turns out the gem was already discovered; I'm just late to the party! Evidently in the Fall they have hayrides and autumn festivities including a pumpkin farm. At Christmas you can take a ride on the tractor to pick out your own tree plus they supply all the greens and other items needed to make your holidays beautiful and tasty! Will definitely be back! I'm out this way a lot visiting wine country, the flower gardens, orchards and antiquing. Whenever I'm out in Woodburn, Salem, the wine country or driving back from basically anywhere from I-5 south heading towards Portland, I will intentionally get off the freeway and make a stop here. I have a 4 year old autistic son, who needs extra help with some of the activities. (He is non verbal, and wouldn't be able to ask for help if he got lost in an obstacle course or kids maze.) I was told I had to buy an additional $30 full access bracelet if I needed to help my special needs child through the activities. I asked if they offered anything/discounted rates for caregivers assisting children with disabilities, and they told me they do not. Last year they allowed parents to go down the big white slides with small children/toddlers. This year they informed me it was only allowed 1 at a time down the big/wide slides, even after I explained my child had a disability and needed extra help/support. This is normally our favorite pumpkin patch, but I was extremely disappointed this year, and their lack of inclusivity for children with disabilities. A day at the pumpkin patch here is expensive, but if you go in expecting that..you'll have a great time & feel like you got to do everything because there really is everything here in this one place. Our kids had the best time (as always) & us adults always enjoy the store at the end where we load up on goodies to take home. Today we went back to Baumans just to go to their store & then we hung out in the little field where there's nice covered seating, roaming chickens, & games of cornhole. It was a Wednesday at 2pm and still pretty busy, so be sure to expect crowds always, especially crazy during the weekends. We got cookies, produce, holiday decor, & pumpkins in the store & then relaxed & played cornhole with the kids..it was perfect (& proves you don't need full admission into the rest of the patch if you're looking for a simple outing on a budget!). Everyone we've encountered has always been very nice & helpful here. Oh & ps you definitely have to leave with at least one jug of their famous apple cider! read more

There are some things that people can't seem to live without. Some people like their "coffee" made where there be windmills. Other people like doughnuts made by a shaman. I myself enjoy my popcorn crossed with fungi. I am of course speaking of Bauman's soon to be famous Mushroom Popcorn. This comes in a quart milk jug and is the best, lightest and has the biggest kernels I have ever seen. We usually pop a bowl and the dogs end up eating a good portion. My family used to take a trip to Bauman's at least 2 times a month and that isn't including the fall festival and other events. Unfortunately this bloody pandemic has reduced our visits. Now recently discovered that our Mushroom Popcorn supply was severely depleted. We were desperate so we got a HUGE thing of that popcorn made by that old dude with the red bow tie. We couldn't have been more dissatisfied. There is nothing to compare with the quality of Bauman's popcorn. The next time we visit I will be sure that we stock up so we won't have to go without when we are watching television. read more

I was in the area and thought it'd be fun to check out Bauman Cider's tasting room and grab a bite. I didn't realize how big the complex was until I pulled in. There were so many things to explore from fun plants to baked goods to produce, oh my! Sam, the bartender, was super knowledgeable and helped me put together a tasty flight of ciders. I also grabbed a turkey avocado sandwich which was pretty good. I felt like the bacon aioli wasn't that flavorful but as a whole super solid. It was all super affordable as well. Came here with two of my niece's my Wife and my Little Sister. I cannot stress enough to "Arrive Early ." This is a very popular Pumpkin Farm well known for their Kids Activities. $20.00 a child sounds like a lot but it is worth it. They have a lot of activities for littles. Trust me. They will be tired when you leave. We played for over 4 hours and still didn't do everything. I had a great time watching my niece's laugh and play. They had some of the Bounce Pillows that were a little rough for our littles but they did have another one that was flat and our kids loved it.... well, they loved everything..... well not everything. 1 of the slides was a bit tall and really sketchy at the top. (Easy Law Suit for fall victim. Not joking.) There are a couple other slides. 1 is loads better for littles. Ours loved it. Not all activities are under cover. The slides are outside of any cover. My Sister said last year, you slid into a mud puddle. We picked the perfect weekend to arrive. A chill in the air and dry conditions. The Hay Ride isn't that thrilling but it was still cool. The Farm Animals were awesome. They had a Llama, Goats, Cows and Chickens. The Chickens have a crazy walkway Bridge they can use to get in the barn. I thought it was cool. I love Chickens. My Wife caught me staring at the Chickens and said, If we had chickens, you would just sit there and stare at them all day, wouldn't you? I said, yes. Went to the store for some fresh vegetables. Corn, 4 for a $1.00 bought 8. Ripe Jalapenos $1.48 a pound. Bought 7 nice red ones. (We ate 1 with our lunch the next day. My Wife, The Sriracha Queen, ate a little slice and thought it was hot. I ate several slices. It was so hot. Immediate heat right to the sinuses. My Wife called me an Animal. Asked me if we needed to go to the hospital. I ate more Jalapenos. I choked. Coughed. Teared up. It was bad and really delicious. I can never go back to Green Unripe Jalapenos again.) Also got a couple Limes $.50 each. We saved money by bringing our own lunch. My Sister's friends showed up and hung out for a while. Their daughter was a great help. They bought some of the Cider Doughnuts they sell at the farm. Delish. We'll splurge on them next year. Worth it! But we didn't waste money on Carnival food. Our friends daughter was a little upset about that. but she ate a sandwich and an apple like everyone else. She's young. Of course she wants junk food. We're old. We don't want to pay for it. They have Free Apple Tasting. I think it was about 12 different varieties and an Asian Pear. I've had Asian Pear and love it. I was stoked that I had only had about 4 of the Apple Samples before. My wife and I tried them all. I went back for seconds and a couple thirds. Today I came to do an interpreting job for this farm. I arrived very early, as always one of the first to arrive and when I get there I always look for a place where there is life like coffee, heat, color, light, etc. I did that, I went to Bauman's store and I saw Cyndee come out with an airpot hot coffee dispenser and donuts, so I offered to help her. She and I went to Portland State University, so we are colleagues, here we meet again, small planet. Well, my job was to interpret for thirty employees of the company and I did it. Everything went well, I did my job and they congratulated me with a bag of donuts and coffee for the road. On the way out, I bought a beautiful Christmas wreath, made of spruce and various types of pine trees, I also asked for a special ribbon with dogs printed on it, which they made for me instantly and they sold it to me at a very low price. Finally, I bought two gift cards and they took care of sending them by mail for me. Cyndee, my former classmate, walked me to the car and we said goodbye. I love my job because every day I work with different companies and with different people and professionals very similar to the employees of Bauman's Farm & Garden. read more

We have been coming here for 5 years now so here is my updated review. They have grown and organized much better. The tickets are however are so expensive and it makes about zero sense to me why I have to pay 15 dollars to stand around and watch my kids go down a slide when I'm paying 15-30 ( ticket option a is 15, option b is 30) for my kid to play. It would be great if they have an adult only ticket for people paying for children who do not need to be accompanied on activities. I wouldn't have an issue spending 30 dollars per kid if I didn't also have to spend 15 just to walk around and not do anything. You don't need a ticket just to enter the pumpkin patch or store; but to enter the activity area you need one but other than to get food or see animals there is nothing for an adult to need to do for 15 bucks. No pumpkin is included in your ticket which I think is the stupidest thing, 30 bucks but you can't toss in a pumpkin? On the positive side there is far more staff, most are useless and miserable, some are friendly some are absolutely not. You won't see an employee over 18 in the festival it's all young kids with air pods in or otherwise ignoring you. They shut down the bathroom to force you into the porta potties which is a huge bummer and down fall. For such a large scale property real bathrooms would be ideal. Best market you'll go to though, can't beat the treats and fun items to try. Was sad they chose not to make sugar free cookies while we were there so we couldn't get what we came for or what was advertised online. It's the best property and pumpkin patch or harvest fest around but those are the little things I'd love to see change. Happy to continue making it out every year but it's a spendy trip. read more

Yes it does include the extra activities but still that is just still way to much when you consider the other pumpkin patches around the area. Bauman's is so great! Not only is the property so pretty, but their goods are amazing! I went recently for the opening of their holiday season and was blown away at everything they had to offer. Christmas decorations, canned goods, amazing cider, and let's not forget the baked goods! My sister is obsessed with their pie, and for good reason. If you're going to stop by, definitely try their cranberry cider, and if you're looking for a sober drink, their sparkling nonalcoholic cider is better than martinelli's.
