Bello Pizza located inside Waterworks Food Hall previously had a location elsewhere in the city but had to close in early 2025 (they were located inside Halcyon Cafe for 4 years). Fast forward to Dec 2025, Bello Pizza is now reopened inside a swanky food hall, slinging delicious huge slices to the masses. They also have a location in Collingwood as well.
The location at Waterworks Food Hall is fully accessible where you can have your pizza for dine in or to go. They are currently open for lunch (11:30am-2:30pm) and dinner (5-8:30pm) daily if you want to grab a slice. Upon arriving at the food stall, their pizza pies are neatly showcased on display. On the menu they also have salads, beverages (sodas, wines, beer), a tiramisu for dessert, dipping sauce, and a variety of pizzas. You can also order a whole pie as well but it may take a while to be made.
I opted to grab a slice of the peppie ($8) which features tomato, basil, mozzarella, fior di latte, pecorino, and pepperoni. Service was friendly and staff were attentive. My slice was reheated in the oven for a few minutes and then was ready for pick up. I must warn you that the size of the pizza slice was HUGE! I was not expecting the slice to be humongous! It barely fit the paper plate that it was on and it almost took up the entire food tray. Staff were nice enough to also give me a dipping sauce (creamy garlic) on the side as well. When you pick up your items, you can also add extra cheese, chili flakes as well as oregano.
Sitting down to eat the pizza, the crust had the right amount of crisp and was thin enough. The pepperoni was a good size and the I appreciated the tomatoes they used - slightly tangy but also sweet. All the ingredients worked well together and the creamy garlic sauce added to the flavour of the slice. I ate my slice pretty quickly as it was pretty good.
Overall, a great new addition to the Waterworks Food Hall! If you are looking for pizza in the area, this is a great option. Will definitely be back to try more of their other pizza flavours. read more
