    a plate of breakfast food

Food was absolutely delicious!! Ladies behind the counter were awesome. Egg white zucchini omelet - flavor of egg white and zucchini complimented each other, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Potatoes and buttered toast also yummy. Chocolate chip pancake - Devine fluffy pancake with the perfect crispies. Omg, give me 10!! Diet Lemonade Tea - I had two. The vibe was super casual and laid back. Find your seat, help yourself to the drinks, pay at the end. Light buzz of conversations around. It was nicely busy but not too crowded. Nice surprise traveling through a small town.

I just ordered 2 bagel sandwiches: Pork-roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel with 1 extra egg and extra pork roll. They give me the sandwiches and charge me $17.00 which is highway robbery in itself. They then try to itemize the sandwich and justify the awful price. The basic sandwich is one egg and one piece of pork-roll. They use some pork-roll rip off thats not Taylor and charge around $5. Its a joke. To charge $17 for 2 average breakfast sandwiches is a disgrace. Ill never go back. Oh and they gave me an onion bagel on one. WRONG. Maybe if they baked the bagels like a normal bagel place they'd be able to tell the difference. Heres a pic of the wrong bagel. They ran Hammonton Bagel out of town for this garbage!? Also attached is a menu for a NY Bagel shop. Thats Downtown New York. Notice their sandwich comes with Eggs not one egg. They're cheaper.

This looks good! The pancakes are big af I wish they made just one. The peach pancakes are very good too.

Best breakfast food I have ever eaten in my life hands down. The French toast is beyond good. The bacon sausage and hash browns are fire. The quality and flavor is on point! Really good service and food! Go here!

Popped in here for a quick bite. It was not that busy on a weekday mid morning. I ordered the Spinach cheese egg sandwich on toasted wheat bread. It was wrapped nicely and cut in half. The spinach was fresh and cooked to perfection. It was delicious!

You should not call yourself a bagel cafe if your bagels are not fresh. I could've bought better quality bagels from ShopRite. Sandwiches barely had meat. Hash browns are saturated in oil, can't separate even if we wanted to eat them.

Despite the mixed YELP reviews, we went there for breakfast. It was a great experience. My everything bagel was fresh, and the cream cheese was as thick as I like it. Scott's "special" omelet was loaded with sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was light, airy, and fresh. Hash potatoes were thin, fresh, seasoned nicely, and cooked just right. Service was friendly and good-humored. The coffee was STRONG and hot. This will be our favorite breakfast/brunch place for the season! Ps- there is a list of sandwiches, too, and all sounded yummy. Maybe next time!

poor food and very rude, they dont even make their own bagels. Gets aggressive when you try to ask more about where their bagels come from.

Bagels taste like they are 2 days old before they got there. Pricey. Not sure why but I feel it was better about five years ago.

I love that Hammonton keeps the small town feel by not allowing big business on the downtown road.

I was there for the first time on Sunday, March 30, 2025, for breakfast (big shock!). Note: they serve breakfast and lunch but have dinner specials on certain nights throughout the month (check their website). The café is clean and well lit; one side of the café is all windows, which is great because you can watch planes take off and land at the Hammonton Municipal Airport. Neat! There is a small counter/bar with room for about 10 people and then various tables throughout the venue. Weather permitting, there is also outside seating. We were a party of 4 and were seated immediately. Our server, Ava, was fantastic from start to finish. She greeted us right away and took our drink order. Since we all asked for coffee, she brought a carafe for the table and that really impressed me. Our coffee cups were always full. We quickly ran out of sugar; instead of bringing more packets to the table, she brought us a free-pour sugar dispenser. How thoughtful! Throughout our meal, she checked on us several times and refilled our carafe, brought more creamer, and so on. It was refreshing to be so well attended to. As far as the food goes: top-notch, hot, fresh, prepared and cooked perfectly, plated professionally... what more can I say? I am certainly no stranger to dining out for breakfast, and Apron Café's fare is remarkably the best I have had in a long time. Allow me to provide a little more detail about the food. I am drawn to any 3-egg breakfast like a moth to a lightbulb. Imagine my joy when I saw a 3-egg breakfast plus TWO choices of meat! I thought I died and passed on to breakfast heaven! I chose scrapple and sausage patties - potatoes and toast were included. I ordered a side of sausage gravy too. Eggs: cooked perfectly over-easy; scrapple: crispy on the outside, mushy on the inside (like God intended!); sausage gravy: hot, tasty, and exceptional. Also, my brother-in-law ordered eggs benedict and much to his delight, the meal came out HOT and the poached eggs were cooked by a pro - just gushing with hot yolk when cut in half. My sister's meal came with pancakes and I ate one. Wow - on par with all of the other food: delicious! This was a really special breakfast for us and I am grateful to the Apron Café and the entire staff for making our visit wonderful and one that I want to repeat as soon as possible. I can't wait to try their other breakfast items and stop by for a specialty dinner. I am definitely recommending this establishment to anyone and everyone - you will not be disappointed!

Hubby had cod poboy and had roast pork (real pork not lunchmeat!) w melted provolone and spinach. It was good but would've preferred a hard roll vs soft. The homemade chips were delish. My favorite was actually the homemade potato salad. It was one of the best I've had. I also checked out their catering menu. Very well priced. Can't wait to go back!
