Great selection, I try to drive over for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Hey, anyplace whose t-shirts say, "Got Pork Roll?" is alright with me. Potatoes and buttered toast also yummy. Chocolate chip pancake - Devine fluffy pancake with the perfect crispies. Omg, give me 10!! Diet Lemonade Tea - I had two. Bagels taste like they are 2 days old before they got there. Pricey. Not sure why but I feel it was better about five years ago.

I got 1sesame and 2 plain bagels for $3 total. The sign out front said "Authentic New York Style Bagels" but that is not accurate. These bagels are okay but not New York quality. I took a bite before I toasted it and it wasn't great. After I toasted it and added cream cheese, it was an enjoyable breakfast. My dad, who had the sesame bagel, did not like it very much. He warmed it up but then only ate half of it and said he would not eat these in the future. The service was good and quick, and the employees were nice. There is no parking lot but there were plenty of spots available on the street when I was there around 11:30am. read more

I just ordered 2 bagel sandwiches: Pork-roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel with 1 extra egg and extra pork roll. They give me the sandwiches and charge me $17.00 which is highway robbery in itself. They then try to itemize the sandwich and justify the awful price. The basic sandwich is one egg and one piece of pork-roll. They use some pork-roll rip off thats not Taylor and charge around $5. Its a joke. To charge $17 for 2 average breakfast sandwiches is a disgrace. Ill never go back. Oh and they gave me an onion bagel on one. WRONG. Dreadful. Unfortunately, in my 30+ years of living in New Jersey, this was the worst bagel I've ever had. Without a doubt, this was a supermarket / mass produced bagel. It comes nowhere close to a New York-style bagel. It is especially insulting to even have the word "bagel" in the restaurant name. Terrible bagel sandwich. First, they tout having new yoej style bagels. No where near the taste or quality. Bagels are not made on premises and kept in plastic closed containers, I guess to keep them " fresh ". The bagel tasted like a supermarket type bagel, no flavor, dry and lacking in anything you would want from a bagel made fresh from a real bagel shop. I got a bagel sandwich bacon egg and cheese, so skimpy what was inside that was just as bad as the bagel itself. I never will go here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A little update...still my favorite little breakfast joint. Got our usual...cheesesteak omelettes w/poppi seed bagels. So good. My nephew got a bacon/egg/ch omelette w/ everything bagel. He enjoyed it. As always hands down best taters ever. Cooked perfectly every time. Very consistent. I see people w/bad reviews for the bagels. This is not a bagel shop. They don't seem like freshly made bagels. More like "name brand" bagels you buy at the supermarket. Stale, no taste and extremely disappointing. Despite the mixed YELP reviews, we went there for breakfast. It was a great experience. My everything bagel was fresh, and the cream cheese was as thick as I like it. Scott's "special" omelet was loaded with sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was light, airy, and fresh. Hash potatoes were thin, fresh, seasoned nicely, and cooked just right. Service was friendly and good-humored. The coffee was STRONG and hot. This will be our favorite breakfast/brunch place for the season! Ps- there is a list of sandwiches, too, and all sounded yummy. As a local I would say this food is only average. Have eaten here several times. It's good if you want a quick bagel though they are not made fresh in house. I will say that I will never return after having my business turned away at 1:30pm though they advertise as open until 2pm. Guess some businesses do so well they can just turn business away. If you're looking for a seriously good breakfast, Mary's is right across the street (you won't be disappointed). If you really want a quick bite I suggest Wawa which is just up the street. The pricing was extremely reasonable and service was small town friendly. I love that Hammonton keeps the small town feel by not allowing big business on the downtown road. We come here often and I would say they're probably the best spot for a bagel or quick breakfast in Hammonton. However, I'm not a huge fan of their bagels. Maybe it's me, because I'm from northern NJ and the bagels there are completely different (aka better). I also really hate having to order "pork roll and cheese" when it's clearly "Taylor ham", but that's an argument for another time and place. Bellevue Bagel is a nice place to get breakfast. They have an assortment of bagels and choices for breakfast and lunch. The coffee bar is very nice and there are different syrups for flavoring the coffee. The only real criticism is maybe how basic the food is, and the small amount of potatoes given with a breakfast. If you think about how much potatoes a diner gives you with a breakfast (usually way too much), this is on the other end of that spectrum. Still, if you don't feel like cooking and want to go downtown for breakfast, this is worth trying. read more

The older man who is the owner, and works there, is very rude and that is putting it mildly. My order was for a cheddar cheese omelette. Instead, my omelette was made with American cheese, a cheese, I do not care for at all, and never buy from the grocery store. So, I took my omelette back to the counter / kitchen area to have it redone correctly. As I walked away, could clearly hear the owner say, to his wife / waitress, " so she couldn't have just eaten American . " He sounded annoyed and bothered. I let him know, I heard him, and that I did not have to accept just anything he wanted to serve me. As I walked away, he made a snide remark under his breath. They never have to worry about me ever eating there again, and I told both he and his wife so. There food is not that great. The omelette are overcooked, and come out flat and dry. You need to ask for extra cheese and meat because they are stingy on it. It is only a two egg omelette, not the traditional three egg omelette. They claim they use extra large eggs, that is why there is not three eggs in the omelettes. I beg to differ, because in my home extra large eggs is all that I shop for and use. Seems to me they just want to nickel and dime their customers, because you are charged for each extra item that you ask for. I have never in my life had to ask for anything extra in any omelette, that I ordered . Keep away from this place. Also, please release your teenaged daughter from working there. This is the one with the facial expressions and body language which makes her come across as someone being detained as prisoner, who has been handed a long sentence to serve, or going through some other kind of angst. You get a one star only because the restaurant, is very clean and inviting looking. About the inviting part, this place proves, appearances can be very deceiving. read more

Only takes one terrible experience somewhere to not want to ever come back to a place. Well, today was sadly a terrible experience. We walked into a less than packed house and looked at the menu. We walked to the register to place an order: 2 omelets and some pancakes. The response I got from the older gentleman (who I believe is the owner) was "no, we can't do that it's either one or the other we're slammed right now." Mind you, I've been here numerous times as I'm from town and this was not the busiest I've ever seen it. It appeared as though they may have possibly been understaffed for the day. Regardless, I would've gladly waited a bit longer for the full order of what I requested rather than be told "it's either one or the other." Sorry, but if you've got what the customer wants you give the customer what they request. You don't tell them they can't have what they want because you're understaffed or overwhelmed. You simply say something to the effect of "no problem, it may take a bit longer than usual but we'll have it out to you." Sad this happened today. I've been there many times, usually once a month at least, with family and/or friends. I won't be coming back, and if I ever decide to...they need to learn to oblige a customer's request rather than tell them they can't have what they order due to being "slammed" with a less than packed house. Quite honestly, as the owner, you should set the precedent for the rest of your employees on how to interact with customers and fulfill their requests. The young girls that normally work the counter are awesome. But this guy may need to take a backseat and let others speak and interact with customers. I was recently there and ordered the pancakes and mine were not cooked fully. I pretty much ate where ever i saw a golden brown spot. I didn't want to take it back because I didn't have alot of time to get another one made. I was very disappointed. My daughter's pancake looked fine. She went to use the restroom and told me that it had boxes and other supplies and just not a pleasant environment. Not clean so she said. The staff was very friendly when ordering and when paying. It is unfortunate, but I will not be going back there. I have been there at least 3 times before, the first time i enjoyed my breakfast but that last few times I thought it was okay. The cafe was fairly full when we visited yesterday. The man who took our order at the counter seemed very friendly and jovial to everyone else, but not to us. His demeanor was visibly churlish when we stepped up and he avoided eye contact with me completely even when he spoke to me. We found a table, poured ourselves coffee, and waited. More than 40 minutes later, we were still waiting. The cafe emptied while we were there, everyone who had preceded us had left, and literally everyone who walked in after us was served while we were ignored. Only one other couple, who were tucking into what looked like a tasty bagel, were still there when I politely called a waitress over and asked when we could expect our food. She shrugged, she hadn't taken our order, strolled back to the counter. Some low conversation, more shrugging behind the counter, a lack of apparent concern. The waitress returned to take our order as it hadn't made its way the 5 feet from the counter to the kitchen, but by now, I was very uncomfortable and my husband more cross than hungry so we decided to leave. We received a sorry-not-sorry as we went to settle up for our coffees, which they did not charge us for. I was the one non-white customer that I saw there all morning. I'm Asian.
