He still ate it, and then we finally eyed some puddings we'd gotten to share. My cousin took the first bites, but he looked disappointed with that as well. I got curious and took it to try, too, and... it was going sour... The entire container was slowly bubbling; I threw it in the outside trash before I could even check the date, but it made enough of a statement on the amount of care and concern given here. We threw out all of the sides without a second thought. Nobody got sick, thankfully, but I feel bad that this was the first impression received...
