I've had the same issue with the redemption of the free pizza that others have had (not allowing me to pay for the topping, EVEN THOUGH the coupons do not indicate it must only be a plain pizza - and, no, the handwritten sign when you go in does not count as notification, especially if you ordered by phone). But, remember, this is Hammonton, and businesses in Hammonton work under their own rules (the rule is: they are the best and there is no better / more effective way of doing anything). God bless, but that's how I've just had to make my way as a customer here. If more businesses stopped treating customers as wrong (or worse, as idiots), the businesses would absolutely THRIVE in Hammonton. The pizza is OK, but I like this type of thinner pizza, so I get by, but as soon as I find a better pizza that is in town, I will switch. read more

My family used to really enjoy this place, with cheery little Sunday lunch get-togethers for pizza and garlic knots. I thought I'd go in just to see what happened with the place over the years, but wow... Where's the love? The building is dark, and smells like an old grease trap. Workers and my order both seemed gloomy - I wanted meat. Like good stromboli breads, large hot pockets, melty cheesesteak inside crispy pizza crust. I was told that I should get the steak pizza turnover if that's all I was looking for, because their strombolis (even the cheesesteak one) had multiple meats regardless, and I don't like ham. When I got the first one out, it looked more like the turnover turned over in its grave, leaking out a quarter-cup of oil as soon as I poked in. It was soggy, bland, no crispiness at all -- 2lbs of pure Hubba Bubba mozzarella, with small chunks of meat scattered within. It all cooled and hardened inside 5 minutes after cutting in (soggy bread and hard cheese, no bueno), and my stomach was queasy for hours afterwards... Not what I wanted, but I should've chosen the calzone if I wanted this kind of cheesy mess. The price was a bit much for that, too, and it doesn't help any more that they apparently charge extra if you don't use cash. I think I'll go for ShopRite next time, and just keep the past good memories... read more

I was so excited to find a pizzeria in New Jersey that serves a tomato pie like they do in Utica, NY or Italy . A pie that can stand on its own without the need to be smothered in cheese. So, I went to Brothers Pizza with high expectations. And they did not disappoint. The crust was hand tossed and had very good flavor. The sauce they used is specific for a tomato pie; thick, garlicky, with a touch of Parmesan. Soooo fucking good!!! It was even better the next day reheated. Only knock is that it could have been cooked a little longer to get a more crispy crust. Grilled chicken Parmesan heroes were ordered too. Very tasty & plenty of chicken, just not enough sauce and a chicken filet should mean whole, uncut chicken. Their chicken filet comes sliced. Overall, Brothers Pizzeria makes my list of Pizzeria's that know what they're doing. Real good stuff here! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I called to make an order for pick up. I usually spend at least $100 every time I visit Brothers Pizza. I called to order four pizzas and 50 wings. I let the girl on the phone know that I had 20 coupons for free pizzas. I asked to add a topping for two of the pizzas , which is six more dollars. I was told you cannot order anything but a cheese pizza with the free coupons , it doesn't say anything about not being able to add toppings anywhere. . If I'm still paying the additional money for the topping, what is the difference? I can tell you what the answer is. I will go to a different pizzeria from now on. just to give you an idea I have 60 coupons just from this year. That's the kind of customer that Brothers Pizza will now lose. . Just to add to the experience the girl on the phone when I told her I don't usually order cheese pizzas. She told me oh well I guess they'll go to waste then. that is very ignorant to a customer but it's horrible customer service. I know I'm only one customer but I spend a lot of money when I come there if you get enough unhappy customers that's how you lose a lot of business. read more

Brothers Pizza, Hammonton NJ. Hammonton not to be confused with any of the other brothers pizzas. This was 1st stop of Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure, Jersey Shore part 2 and it was a great start. We got the brother special which included fried onions, peppers, mushrooms and sauce. At the recommendation of Joe O we got it on the garlic bread. $1.75 extra for the garlic bread, I didn't like that. The roll did not hold up and there was not a lot of meat. However, this was a very tasty cheesesteak. The ingredients on this Cheesesteak played great together. I would absolutely consider going back and getting a regular cheese steak on garlic bread and/or a brother special cheesesteak on regular roll. The people are great. I got my order wrong and then I sat at a table after ordering at the counter. I was a mess and they were great. read more

Delicious pizza! On my way home from out of town I picked up a Brothers Special and a large pepperoni. The restaurant is hidden in a shopping plaza next to a Shop Rite. This is not a thin and crispy style pizza common to the area. The special is loaded with toppings and worth every bite. Staff was welcoming and friendly to boot. Highly recommended. read more

Until recently their cheesesteaks were the best, not just in Hammonton but possibly all of NJ. The last 2 times Ive ordered a cheesesteak there has been less meat, more undercooked onions and a less than stellar roll. See the picture. Theres more onions on the sandwich! Rarely do I ever find myself in South Jersey but somehow I came here for some noms. It seems like this is a neighborhood joint with lots of regulars. We weren't that hungry so we ordered a few appetizers and one entree to share. Maybe I'm just not used to the prices around the area, but the food was so inexpensive and such an incredible value! The garlic knots appetizer comes with 6 decently-sized knots and it's only $2.75. I really enjoyed the garlic knots and marinara sauce. The service was good too. We surprisingly didn't try the pizza but we saw them being made and they looked great. read more

I grew up going to Brothers. Recently ordered pick up and couldn't wait to get home. I ordered a chicken sandwich which has always been my favorite. Unfortunately, they ran out of rolls and neglected to tell me. I get home and find they've "made" a roll out of pizza dough. Terrible, hard and chewy. Water tasted like toilet water with ice. Ordered a Stromboli with ham and salami there was a mountain of unmelted cheese. The cheese was cheap and only between one piece of each meat. The French fries tasted like the oil hasn't been changed in months. My daughter got a burger the tomatoes were pink and hard, the meat tasted unseasoned and like complete garbage. My girlfriend got a veggie wrap that she struggled to even eat it. However, my son had a great meal cause he ate baby food out of a jar and was lucky to miss the meal we got here. I do not know how someone can own a business and serve slop like that and take people's money and go to sleep at night. The bathroom was dirty, there was pee on the seat, water all over the sink, and the floor was dirty. This is the first time I've ever wrote a review and would not recommend this place to anyone. I am familiar with Chicago deep dish pizza, but I haven't loved NY-style thin crust pizza until now. I invited my husband's friends to Atlantic City, and we were visiting Batsto Village in the Wharton State Forest. After finishing our visit, we were hungry and decided to try this little pizza place out. We ordered a couple of different pizzas. I don't recall which one the other pizza was, but one was a white pizza. I have never encountered a white pizza before, but this one was topped with broccoli and cheese with a creamy white garlic sauce. AMAZING. The sizes were larger than we expected, so we ended up taking the other pizza back to our resort. We noticed other patrons were speaking Italian. That's always a good sign when your own community members patronize your business. The service was friendly, and our friend was so pleased with the pizza that she went up to the owner to compliment her food. When we reheated the pizza back at the resort, it was almost as good as when it was served to us at the restaurant. So now I know why my husband raves about East Coast pizza since he lived in NY for a few years. Where can I get this white pizza on the West Coast? Or do I have to order it by mail from the East Coast? read more

The pizza was good I would give it a better rating however I ordered six pies spent over $80 and asked for paper plates and they told me they would have to charge $.10 a plate! I've been going to Brothers pizza since I was little. The food was great! The waitress with the crazy red hair was so ignorant!!! She will be the reason I or my family will NOT!!! Go back. She stood in the middle of the room and complained about my small order. I wanted to walk out but my husband wasn't comfortable with that. This waitress has been with the pizzeria for years . Ordered chicken parmigiana, salad and pasta fagioli. Chicken was beaten thin so could not understand why it was uncuttable and tough. Sauce was tangy. Came with a roll made of pizza dough which was doughy. Love my bread and butter but couldn't enjoy this dough. Soup was weak in color, tasteless with crunchy beans. I'd give it zero stars if that was an option. First time we tried it my sandwich came out 15 minutes late and was cold. Second time I tried it the pizza was greasy at best. On the positive side, the pizza was cooked perfectly, no soggy bottom and zero burnt crust. Unfortunately, the pie tasted like it had little, if any sauce. A real hole in the wall pizza shop. I love the pizza and order them all the time. It is a jersey/NY style pizza, with thin, crisp crust, grease, and lots of cheese.
