Soggy on the bottom, too much cheese. I poked it with a stick; I think it's dead.

My family used to really enjoy this place, with cheery little Sunday lunch get-togethers for pizza and garlic knots. I thought I'd go in just to see what happened with the place over the years, but wow... Where's the love? The building is dark, and smells like an old grease trap. Workers and my order both seemed gloomy - I wanted meat. Like good stromboli breads, large hot pockets, melty cheesesteak inside crispy pizza crust. I was told that I should get the steak pizza turnover if that's all I was looking for, because their strombolis (even the cheesesteak one) had multiple meats regardless, and I don't like ham. When I got the first one out, it looked more like the turnover turned over in its grave, leaking out a quarter-cup of oil as soon as I poked in. It was soggy, bland, no crispiness at all -- 2lbs of pure Hubba Bubba mozzarella, with small chunks of meat scattered within. It all cooled and hardened inside 5 minutes after cutting in (soggy bread and hard cheese, no bueno), and my stomach was queasy for hours afterwards... Not what I wanted, but I should've chosen the calzone if I wanted this kind of cheesy mess. The price was a bit much for that, too, and it doesn't help any more that they apparently charge extra if you don't use cash. I think I'll go for ShopRite next time, and just keep the past good memories...

Brothers Pizza, Hammonton NJ. Hammonton not to be confused with any of the other brothers pizzas. This was 1st stop of Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure, Jersey Shore part 2 and it was a great start. We got the brother special which included fried onions, peppers, mushrooms and sauce. At the recommendation of Joe O we got it on the garlic bread. $1.75 extra for the garlic bread, I didn't like that. The roll did not hold up and there was not a lot of meat. However, this was a very tasty cheesesteak. The ingredients on this Cheesesteak played great together. I would absolutely consider going back and getting a regular cheese steak on garlic bread and/or a brother special cheesesteak on regular roll. The people are great. I got my order wrong and then I sat at a table after ordering at the counter. I was a mess and they were great.

Brother's Special pizza, hold the onions

Delicious pizza! On my way home from out of town I picked up a Brothers Special and a large pepperoni. The restaurant is hidden in a shopping plaza next to a Shop Rite. This is not a thin and crispy style pizza common to the area. The special is loaded with toppings and worth every bite. Staff was welcoming and friendly to boot. Highly recommended.

Brothers was my all time childhood favorite place for pizza and cheesesteaks. If no one else will say it, I will. Their pizza has been hit and miss for years. Until recently their cheesesteaks were the best, not just in Hammonton but possibly all of NJ. The last 2 times Ive ordered a cheesesteak there has been less meat, more undercooked onions and a less than stellar roll. See the picture. Theres more onions on the sandwich! Just a shame.

    Yum!

We had a Brothers Special, Tomato pie, and a half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. All were great and more than enough food for 9 people. We are visiting from out of town and their pizza really hit the spot! I definitely recommend this place!

Great service. People are so friendly. Food was great. I miss east coast food. My slice of pizza made me so happy. The cheese steak was awesome. Will come back during my travels

Soup pizza! Pretty low quality ingredients used across the board. Decent prices and they are reasonably fast. Good last resort option.

I had a cousin over for the holidays though, and he'd never had a Primo hoagie before. Lives under a rock, I thought... right? But I might join him under that rock, because oh my GOD... We almost got food poisoning. I didn't initially care when I saw that they forgot the lettuce on turkey LTO -- That was okay (sort of; I managed that situation fine). I added spinach from my fridge instead, and made do with what I had. His hoagie was also made messily, and he admitted that it wasn't that great in flavor. He still ate it, and then we finally eyed some puddings we'd gotten to share. My cousin took the first bites, but he looked disappointed with that as well. I got curious and took it to try, too, and... it was going sour... The entire container was slowly bubbling; I threw it in the outside trash before I could even check the date, but it made enough of a statement on the amount of care and concern given here. We threw out all of the sides without a second thought. Nobody got sick, thankfully, but I feel bad that this was the first impression received... We later made our own small sandwiches and some homemade desserts to make up for it all. The place will still probably receive some business from my friends for Italian hoagies, but none from me personally.

This is hands down the lousiest Shoprite, and honestly the worst grocery store I've ever been to…read more I'm a local, and I refuse to shop here anymore. First off, I'm not sure what another reviewer meant when they mentioned a "comprehensive bakery." That must be satire, or maybe they work for the store, because everyone I know agrees the fresh goods selection here is terrible. Online ordering? Don't bother. Every time I check in, it's at least a 10+ minute wait. I've had to call the store several times when it took 20+ minutes for them to come out. Bags are never separated properly (frozen tossed in with room temperature, raw meat on top of produce, meats not properly bagged with juices everyone in the bag), and it feels like a coin toss whether your order is even complete. I've had entire bags missing multiple times in the past 2 years. And the substitutions/out of stock situation is laughable. I'll be told 5-7 items are unavailable, then walk inside right after and see them on the shelves. That's not bad luck, that's lazy shopping or poor management. In store shopping isn't any better. The shelves are often bare, and I never leave with everything on my list. It's poorly run, poorly stocked, and the whole atmosphere makes it obvious why the place is never crowded. For comparison, I now drive a half hour to the Acme in Mays Landing instead of wasting 15 minutes coming here. Night and day difference: stocked shelves, reliable online ordering, fresh variety, and a bakery that actually deserves the name. Prices might be higher at Acme, but my sanity is worth it. Shop rite corporation should be embarrassed by this location. It doesn't come close to the standard of other stores in the chain or surrounding counties. Until they overhaul management, improve stocking, and take customer service seriously, it will remain a store to avoid.

If you're driving down the White Horse Pike and looking for that quintessential Jersey "shimmer,"…read morethe Silver Coin Diner is a must-stop. I dropped in this past Sunday around 10:30 PM during the late night rush. Despite the crowd, the large, free parking lot made arriving easy, though it was fairly packed for a Sunday. This place is a dream for fans of Americana. It's a classic Kullman-style diner, manufactured right here in New Jersey, and it still features that iconic "Space Age" stainless steel exterior and neon lighting that makes your imagination run wild. It' s been family-owned since 1982, and you can feel that local pride the second you walk in. The interior is sparkling clean and manages to feel retro without being dated. Our server, Nicole, was an absolute rockstar. Even with a 10-minute wait for a booth, she had our orders delivered immediately and kept the refills coming throughout the meal. The menu is massive, but here are the standouts: Waffle Sundae ($13.48): This is the ultimate breakfast-meets-dessert move. It comes topped with massive scoops of ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and a cherry. It's definitely big enough to share (or not--no judgment here). Jersey Benedict ($11.98): A local essential with perfectly grilled pork roll and hollandaise. The "Silver Coin Special" ($8.48): A clever nod to the Hammonton area code, this gives you the best of everything (pancakes, eggs, and three types of meat) for a great price. Pro-Tips Healthy Options: They actually have a "Bro-tein" Omelet and a solid Vegetarian Omelet ($10.98) packed with fresh veggies if you aren't in the mood for a sugar rush from the waffle. Timing: Weekends are the busiest time, so if you're in a rush, aim for the counter seating to bypass the booth wait. Overall you're getting massive portions and friendly, "treat you like family" service at a fair price (about $35 for two including tip). The only reason it's not a 5 is that it gets loud when it's full, but that's just part of the authentic Jersey diner energy. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm heading toward Atlantic City!
