Soggy on the bottom, too much cheese. I poked it with a stick; I think it's dead.

My family used to really enjoy this place, with cheery little Sunday lunch get-togethers for pizza and garlic knots. I thought I'd go in just to see what happened with the place over the years, but wow... Where's the love? The building is dark, and smells like an old grease trap. Workers and my order both seemed gloomy - I wanted meat. Like good stromboli breads, large hot pockets, melty cheesesteak inside crispy pizza crust. I was told that I should get the steak pizza turnover if that's all I was looking for, because their strombolis (even the cheesesteak one) had multiple meats regardless, and I don't like ham. When I got the first one out, it looked more like the turnover turned over in its grave, leaking out a quarter-cup of oil as soon as I poked in. It was soggy, bland, no crispiness at all -- 2lbs of pure Hubba Bubba mozzarella, with small chunks of meat scattered within. It all cooled and hardened inside 5 minutes after cutting in (soggy bread and hard cheese, no bueno), and my stomach was queasy for hours afterwards... Not what I wanted, but I should've chosen the calzone if I wanted this kind of cheesy mess. The price was a bit much for that, too, and it doesn't help any more that they apparently charge extra if you don't use cash. I think I'll go for ShopRite next time, and just keep the past good memories...

Brothers Pizza, Hammonton NJ. Hammonton not to be confused with any of the other brothers pizzas. This was 1st stop of Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure, Jersey Shore part 2 and it was a great start. We got the brother special which included fried onions, peppers, mushrooms and sauce. At the recommendation of Joe O we got it on the garlic bread. $1.75 extra for the garlic bread, I didn't like that. The roll did not hold up and there was not a lot of meat. However, this was a very tasty cheesesteak. The ingredients on this Cheesesteak played great together. I would absolutely consider going back and getting a regular cheese steak on garlic bread and/or a brother special cheesesteak on regular roll. The people are great. I got my order wrong and then I sat at a table after ordering at the counter. I was a mess and they were great.

Brother's Special pizza, hold the onions

Delicious pizza! On my way home from out of town I picked up a Brothers Special and a large pepperoni. The restaurant is hidden in a shopping plaza next to a Shop Rite. This is not a thin and crispy style pizza common to the area. The special is loaded with toppings and worth every bite. Staff was welcoming and friendly to boot. Highly recommended.

Brothers was my all time childhood favorite place for pizza and cheesesteaks. If no one else will say it, I will. Their pizza has been hit and miss for years. Until recently their cheesesteaks were the best, not just in Hammonton but possibly all of NJ. The last 2 times Ive ordered a cheesesteak there has been less meat, more undercooked onions and a less than stellar roll. See the picture. Theres more onions on the sandwich! Just a shame.

    Yum!

We had a Brothers Special, Tomato pie, and a half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. All were great and more than enough food for 9 people. We are visiting from out of town and their pizza really hit the spot! I definitely recommend this place!

Great service. People are so friendly. Food was great. I miss east coast food. My slice of pizza made me so happy. The cheese steak was awesome. Will come back during my travels

Soup pizza! Pretty low quality ingredients used across the board. Decent prices and they are reasonably fast. Good last resort option.

We arrived early around 4:30 and noticed there was plenty of open seating in the bar area. They start you with the most delicious, soft, chewy exterior bread bites. You can tell the plain evoo they provide to dip it is superior quality. It was very bright and fruity. Lirona was our server and provided attentive and well timed service. Food was delicious. Cocktails were well executed. We noticed management was on the floor the entire time ensuring things were going smoothly. We will definitely return. The next visit may be a light bite at the bar. The menu is a very nice size. That along with the fact that the place has gone a lil viral concerned me a little. There is nothing to worry about. This place delivers on quality service and food in a lovely, modern atmosphere. We only have one ding for our evening. I had requested a cozy two top that wasn't in the middle of the restaurant. We were seated at a two seater directly behind the glass door when you enter the dining room from the bar area. We felt subject to all traffic in the restaurant and felt a smidge smooshed. They even carted chairs past us to the bar area while we were there. I would never want to be seated there again. That was disappointing. We giggled upon entry to the foyer at the music they have playing on repeat. It made me smile.

It's beautifully decorated with several artificial lemon trees and vines throughout the bar and dining room. I loved the lighting fixtures and the color scheme too. They specialize in table side dishes which you can only get in the dining room, so make your reservation well in advance since this spot is hard to get into last minute. I had the spritz flight to drink with my choice of 3 of the 4 available options. I had the limoncello, calabrian, and Hugo ranked from worst to best. The flight glasses were larger than expected and these were very easy to drink without a lot of alcohol. They were good, but I've had better. My husband got a hot black tea which he enjoyed & admired the acopa teaspoon it was served with. They brought out freshly baked rolls with olive oil and these were delicious and the best part of the meal, because I felt like the overall experience was below average. For appetizers, we got a single order of the Caesar salad and the table side order of the Scallops Brûlée. The Caesar was very underdressed. The bite I had tasted like straight lettuce and parmesan, so we had to ask for extra dressing which made it better but still a bit underwhelming. It was more acidic than other Caesar dressings we've had with almost no anchovy. The table side presentation for the scallops took a bit of time, and after taking my first bite it was cold and undercooked. I had to send this back and asked for it to be finished in the kitchen. The second scallop dish was very charred and the sugar crusted topping was too much for me. For how delicate scallops are, I didn't really like how over-seasoned these were. The pea and asparagus puree helped to balance the flavors slightly but I wouldn't get this again. We noticed the manager walking around and in past experiences, usually they would stop by to make sure the second dish was to our liking. He stopped at a lot of other tables, including the one right next to us, but skipped ours several times. For entrees, my husband got the pork chop at the waitress's recommendation. I got the chicken parm which was served with a side of pasta in marinara and the chicken parm had both vodka sauce and marinara. This was one of the most under seasoned dishes I've had at a fine dining restaurant. The marinara was runny, and there was no fresh basil on top either. It's like they forgot salt completely and I've had better chicken parm's at mom & pop pizza shops. The cavatelli pasta with marinara sauce was also bland and I only had two bites. The pork chop on the other hand was flavorful and juicy, but after having one of the most incredible pork chops in Ventnor, this just wasn't that memorable in comparison. The presentation looked like it was a Mexican fajitas dish. I was expecting something more refined, and you could see all the pepper juice swimming around the mashed sweet potatoes. This was our first time here and we were celebrating a birthday but we opted out of the free dessert and sparkler since loud music and attention is the last thing my husband wants, so maybe that's why the manager didn't stop by. Who knows? They did gift us with a signed card which was a nice touch. We enjoyed the rapport from all the staff we did encounter. The waitress was very friendly and personable. The table bussers made funny jokes and were very surprised we didn't want to take home any of our half eaten entrees, but it just wasn't worth taking.

For an appetizer we both had Jumbo lump crab cocktail (Fantastic). They brought out house salads and Bread with peppers. My wife had Chicken parm over capellini (very good gravy) and I had Seafood Tortellini (Crab, Shrimp and Asparagus). The portions were generous and the taste was amazing. For dessert, my wife had cinnamon roll churros with Vanilla ice cream and I had a Spumoni Bomba. We really love this place and can't wait to come back. The only thing that could be an issue is that the restaurant is small. We went on a Thursday around 4pm and were able to get a seat however I can see weekend nights may be an issue. A Sunday, 98 degrees out and the 1st thing we notice is that it is sweltering inside. No big deal. The martini, $15, missing the top 3rd of the pour. We watched as the server told the bartender to stop pouring so he wouldnt spill it walking over. Reasonable perhaps? No! Because we watched as the bartender poured himself the rest of our drink and seemed to enjoy it right at the bar. Now the food. A wedge, fair for $16.95. But addeded a piece of tuna and now we have a lame $32 bowl of iceberg. Chicken parm and penne. Chicken was over an inch thick, not your typical chicken parm. But it was the sauce that ruined the dish. Since when is sauce so thick that it holds up the penne from touching the dish, almost like it was tomato pudding. Dont know what happened to this place, but it gout our last dollar!

The server starts you off with a complimentary serving of peppers and onions in olive oil with thinly sliced crusty bread. I started with the clams casino appetizer which was hot and enjoyable, nice consistency of chopped clams, bread crumbs and seasoning The salad was next with which I ordered with honey mustard dressing which the server told me was not available. When the salad arrived I noticed the server went out of her way to top it with honey mustard dressing. I enjoyed the main course of a 6oz. filet mignon, which was a large enough slice for the number of courses served. Absolutely tender and delicious and as always a perfect medium rare. The meal was ended with a delicious creamy NY style cheesecake. The patronage is a testament to the value and quality of the food, always a crowded dining room. Instead I got layers of gray looking eggplant that had no coating, scant ricotta cheese if you can find it, just weirdest looking stuff I've ever seen. It was so below my expectations I mentioned I didnt care for it. 27 dollars, I was asked if I wanted something else but since I ordered a side of fettuccine Alfredo which I hadn't touched yet I declined. Instead of taking the entree away and taking it off the bill, the mgr asked everyone at my table if anyone wanted to take it home. 2 people said they would out of politeness, thinking they were helping not waste it, instead I was charged for it and paid almost 30 dollars for an entree I didnt even get-to take home that I did not want because it was the grossest version of the dish I had ever seen but the option to take it off the bill was taken from me! I didnt eat the nasty salad that came with the meal because you dont get a choice of dressings, they tell you it comes with a homemade house dressing, i thought it would be an extra virgin olive oil and vinegar, but noooo, it was a sickeningly sweet orange looking stuff like that French dressing everyone knows on a bed of wilted salad greens that wasnt even the kind that crunches, it was, flaccid with a too thick piece of cucumber on it, and a little tomato. I heard the food was supposed to be so good here, and my expectations were pretty high! Not a gnocchi in site on the menu, my daughter had a special she didnt eat, some kind of chicken with peach that had a nasty favor that just didnt go together in azweird sauce, she took hers home. My side of fettuccine Alfredo wasnt tossed, it had a pre-made alfredo sauce that was ladled on top of the pasta but never coated on all the pasta! Im mad! I took that Alfredo home and when I took the container lid off it was, hard as a rock, congealed as,Alfredo leftover sometimes are but no butter in sight, and not sure it was cream, idk what it was, possibly a betchamel sauce that was made to appear like an alfredo? but it tasted like *?^&, im out 50 dollars towards the tip, 27 for the eggplant, 15 for the fake Alfredo and I feel ripped off. Ill never recommend this, place, ill never return, and I happen to know really good food but for my experience it was a waste ! The server was just ok, but didnt add anything to our dining experience! A better meal at a local diner could've been a lot better. This was a 50th birthday party,at least the server could've been more fun and personable. Sorry, not sorry. I still feel like I got ripped off.
