I had the pleasure of dining air on New Year's Eve Upon entry, we were greeted by staff. Everyone was in high spirits and very friendly. As we waited for our table, we sat at the bar. The bartenders were a great time! The restaurant is very large and nicely decorated. Very fun pieces of art throughout. The bathroom is white Lotus themed. You'll hear the theme song playing in the background. There are many tableside options available. We opted for the table side, Caesar salad and table side scallops. Both were absolutely delicious. For entrées: positano coast (good but lacking umph until their garlic herb oil was added separately. Then it was phenomenal), branzino, and spicy rigatoni. The drinks were very good here and the mail was not expensive at all

Scarpelli's - Hammonton, NJ Overall: 4/5 Stars We had 8:30 PM reservations and arrived early at 8:10, but didn't get seated until 9:10. The long wait with minimal updates and no complimentary drinks/appetizers definitely started the night off on the wrong foot. Thankfully, the hostess offered a genuine apology once we were finally seated, which was appreciated. From that point on, the experience improved dramatically. The ambiance is beautiful -- warm, stylish, and clearly well thought out. Our server, Kevin, was outstanding the entire night. Super personable, very knowledgeable about the menu, and consistently attentive. He really helped turn the evening around and even treated us to a complimentary Banana Cream Pie. Food: * Italian Sushi (Appetizer): 9/10 -- creative and delicious. * Straight Outta Brooklyn Positano Coast: 10/10 -- perfectly cooked seafood and great flavor. * Tomahawk Ribeye: 8/10 -- impressive tableside presentation, but the flavor didn't quite match the price point. * Desserts (Frozen Lemon Cake & Banana Cream Pie): both 10/10. Despite the rocky start, the quality of the food, the great service from Kevin, and the atmosphere made the overall experience memorable. With some improvement in reservation management and communication, Scarpelli's could easily be a top-tier dining spot. Total bill: $218.58 for two people (including tax). Would return -- but hopefully next time, the wait matches the reservation.

Wow wow wow! Came here for date night and was beyond pleased with our experience. I have to start off by saying that the service was phenomenal from start to beginning from the hostess to our server to the bartenders and the owners. (Special shout out to Annalise!) Everybody was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The food itself was a hit after hit it was really a lot of fun to decide the path of what we were going to have and what meals would go well together. With that being said, it was also really hard to make a decision on what to get because everything looks so great! The most exciting part of the meal was the whole bite of spicy rigatoni, the chicken cutlet and Barada altogether. Also honorable mentions for the sauce that the chicken meatballs came in! We were too full for dessert, but also wanted to hang at the bar to watch one of the games. That was a great decision and we're so happy we feel like we got the full experience. We'll definitely return when in the area and highly recommend for anyone to get their reservations to also have an enjoyable experience.

Cheesesteak arancini

I've heard wonderful things about Scarpelli so we scored a reservation for my birthday. We dined on a Monday and every seat was FULL. When we arrived we didn't have any wait at all. The place is absolutely beautiful. The dining area is a bit crammed. The 2 seaters in particular are extremely close together: think bench style - and you have someone sitting a foot from you. Where we were seated it was very uncomfortable with waitresses trying to SQUEEZE behind and around you and the table side dining. The music is very unusually LOUD -club style music to the point where you cannot hear the person you are with talking so absolutely everyone is yelling. Aside from that, the food is good. Not great, but good. HUGE portions. Like I mean HUGE. Food: We started off with the chicken picatta meatballs. Absolutely delicious. Cheesesteak arancini -tons of meat so you get your moneys worth if that's your vibe but virtually no rice. The meat was a bit chewy and dry but it tasted pretty good - the pepper relish was a great touch. Clams casino - we've had way way better. Entrees: My husband had the seven fish pasta. The seafood was cooked well, not rubbery or overcooked at all. It was a large plate but pretty decent but we've had way better. I ordered the risotto americano. It was just okay in my opinion. The sauce was virtually tasteless, and the entire meal just fell flat. On the plus side, if you love large dishes they definitely give you more than you can eat. I could have eaten 4 meals from that plate. (Side note: it was absolutely terrible for left overs it did not heat well. ) We ended the night with the cookie, subpar. All in all, it was just okay - pretty over hyped in my opinion. Aside from the chicken meatballs. Prices were fair considering the portions. Didn't come close to some of the other establishments we've dined at. I would definitely consider giving it another try as nothing was bad, I just wasn't impressed and after 200+ dollars I want to be impressed with more than meatballs. Side note- lots of complaints about birthday music here. I disagree, I actually liked this. Each birthday was uniquely celebrated, with different well known song related to birthdays - I think it was well thought out and very cute.

We received a gift Cert for the holidays and don't know what to expect. We took a chance and didn't have reservations drove an hour and were surprised when we got there at 4 to see a line out the door. First impressions were great with a new clean crisp looking restaurant. We sat at the bar and had an amazing meal with our amazing bartender Ryan. She made us some house cocktails while we devoured the ricotta toast and shrimp and crab ceviche!! Main courses were the rigatoni and ravioli which were to die for!! We'll be back

Complementary wine on Valentine's Day for couples at lunch! Also the fig and pomegranate martini delicious

Live music set a fun vibe and a large group for a bday added to the party atmosphere. We had the option of sitting right by the singer/guitarist or by the door. We were actually fine sitting by the performer but the waitress offered to show us the "speakeasy" and we decided to stay seated there. It was a quick walk out the back door where there was a fire pit and an outdoor bar area then back into the building and up the steps where there were 2 small rooms with seating, a bathroom, and a dim, small bar with stools and a separate booth. We decided to have a seat at the booth by the window. Drinks were limited in the speakeasy but the bartender did her best to make comparable drinks to what was available at the bars downstairs. The drinks we did order were made very well. Wings for appetizers were delicious. Nice sized wings with our choice of Korean bbq sauce. Since it is a Polish restaurant, I felt like I had to try the Polish classic ... Kielbasa w/pierogi, served w/slaw & sauerkraut, mustard, horseradish & sautéed onion. Dish was flavorful and filling. For dessert, we had to get the funnel cake fruit pierogi - served with ice cream. Yummmy! Service was also great, despite how busy it was. The rest of the menu had other types of food (not just Polish) and it all sounded great. I also love places like this that have monthly specials. The drink menu also had a lot of unique and delicious sounding options. I'd definitely come back and the brunch menu looks intriguing. I'll probably give this place a 5 star review when I try more things on the menu.

There are burgers, tacos, and enough vegan options to please my family. Mom loves to eat, so we ordered way too much and had leftovers for days. The space looks like it gets lively on weekends. There's a jukebox (Mom danced). It's your typical NJ bar and grill, but they've spent time making it look nice. The backyard looks like a fun hang. We bought a bottle of wine made for them by a local winery. It was inexpensive and tasted pretty good. I'd buy it again.

The owner and staff are beyond accommodating & kind. 12 of us (2 toddlers included) went to celebrate a birthday & all of the food arrived quickly & cooked to perfection. No complaints or issues with anyone in our party. I love the shrimp & steak combo. Their nacho appetizer is AMAZING also. The torta, burritos, fajitas, salmon and everything else we've tried were all phenomenal. We wanted to add another table because of the size of the high chairs & just needing more room in general. They were happy to do so. The only thing I'd love to add to my experience here is a margarita!! I think there will be a liquor license coming, but if not.. that would be an amazing addition especially for those of us who only want a cocktail for a special occasion. For now it's BYOB. Overall, absolutely worth it. Reasonable prices for great food & atmosphere.
