Good spot to get an occasional fresh-made stromboli bread, or their renowned blueberry sausage... but that's about all that this tiny Italian market has to offer. Their sandwich trays are decent, yet messy and not really worth the cost compared to just making it all at home. The hot-and-ready meals of yore that family used to pick up there, are now seemingly a thing of the past. Even the shelved foods have gone downhill over the past few years - No longer kept freshly stocked. There's nothing that makes this place stand out from the crowd anymore as a unique shop to stop into. Everything that you order comes out without a desired topping, or with one that wasn't even specified. I've even had a burger or two come out somewhat charred, mildly flattened, and spilling all over with every bite. Better quality could come from a fast-food joint in that case, and with new faces appearing here every few weeks, it's a wonder how anything at all can be kept stable or moving. Many people, close friends and family alike, talk about how great this spot was... and now, how badly it's turned over the past few months. It's honestly a shame, and I can only hope that they find a way to improve again in the future. Until then, I certainly loved the past great things this place gave! read more

Had the potential to be a delicious cheesesteak sandwich. Let's start with the positives.... The sandwich was loaded and I mean loaded with meat, in a super soft full size sub roll, priced very reasonable around $10. Now what made the sandwich inedible was that it was super greasy (I could've rung the oil out of it) and please just clean your grill. While loaded with meat if it tastes like nothing but a dirty greasy grill it's a total waste. I unfortunately won't be ordering again read more

Since we have been social distancing due to the Covid 19 outbreak, I have been reluctant to go into the big supermarkets. For the past few weeks I have been ordering online from Inferrers's Market and have been wonderfully satisfied with the quality of their meats and produce. The homemade sausage is delicious and the chicken cutlets were sliced perfectly thin, exactly how we like them. I appreciate their prompt, friendly service and the curbside pick-up. It also helped me feel reassured that the employees all wore masks and gloves while attending to their work. I will be ordering from Inferrera's long after this pandemic is over. I can't wait until we are allowed back into the store so that I can see what other goodies they have! read more

Really great meat selections and deli (esp the sandwiches) and I love their grab-n-go area for the huge selection. Wish they had a bigger produce area and their prices do run a bit high. I usually go here more if I'm looking for a treat than for a regular grocery run. read more

Over the Christmas holiday, we were visiting our family and we wanted to treat everyone to a great steak dinner. We were told that Inferrera's Market had the best cut of meat. When we to the market, and asked if the store had any filet migons and delmonico steaks. The butcher that waited on us stated that the ribeye steaks were also called "delmonico steaks." He then proceeded to the back of the store and came out with these small supposedly filet cuts. He stated that these steaks were cut into smaller cuts of meat due to the cost. We were delighted that we could treat our family and didn't mind paying over $40. He told us that the "delmonico steaks" were what he feeds his family. Well, our son who is an excellent chef grilled the steaks on the gas grill and low and behold they were so tough!!!! Being from a large city, we were accustomed to scam artists but not in Hammonton. Maybe had we been a regular customer and knew he was lying, we would have known better. When we come back to Hammonton, we WILL NOT BE GOING TO INFERRERA'S MARKET!!! We should have gone to Bagliani's or even Shoprite!!! During the holiday season, you can only hope that even store employees won't try to cheat customers. When you are a visitor to Hammonton and are told that Inferrera's Market is the best place in town to purchase meat, make sure that you bring a resident of Hammonton with you. Maybe then you won't be cheated. read more
