This is considered half a cheesesteak. The steak was literally overflowing from the bread.

I've only been here once, but after my first visit it's a guarantee that I'll be back. This deli is a little less than 2 miles from my work. I called first to make sure they take debit cards and they do. I believe if its $10 or more no charge, $5-10 is 25 cents are forget the rest. Don't know, don't care - the point is they take cards, which is great because I almost never carry cash. Plenty of parking outside. The inside is your typical convenience store offering a wide assortment of random stuff. Off to the side past the register is a small grill. I ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and ketchup and it was ready in under 3 minutes. Talk about saving a minute! Got my food back to work and was immediately blown away by the weight of this cheessteak. Easily a pound of steak on this thing. The lighter color of the steak seen in the pic us due to it being cooked with max cheese mixed in. I literally cut a half in half and was full, that's how loaded this cheesteak was. Talk about bang for your buck....I paid $6 for this goliath. Honestly couldn't have made it cheaper at home if I tried. Can't eat these every day unless ya wanna have a coronary bypass but a guilty pleasure for sure. Looking forward to trying some of their other sandwiches as well. I will definitely be back. Crazy value, max meat - say no more.

Italian Hoagie with extra pickles and vinegar

Stopped in to get a hoagie and the menu had plenty of choices. Decided on a whole Italian having no idea how huge it would be. I asked for extra pickles and vinegar and they did not disappoint. The bread was perfect and the hoagie was wonderful. Would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.

I have had my fair share of Deli sandwiches and Cheesesteaks from NYC, NJ, Philly, Texas, and the West Coast.

4 stars for value. 3 stars for food but to be fair, my experience was limited to just one visit…read more Google reviews rave about the breakfast sandwiches, subs, and cheesesteaks. I trust google for food reviews about as much as I trust the ice cream machine at a McDonalds. Sure I know it exists, but I'm not gonna trust it. So I turned to Yelp after a buddy recommended this place and sure enough - no reviews. So here I am yelp community, to blaze a trail you all can follow should you decide!! I love a good bodega. Typically large portions, big menu, cheap prices. This place follows that formula. Wing dings, steaks, fried seafood, patallilos, cold cuts, and on top of all that it's a small convenience store with a small deli with Dietz & Watson cold cuts. A Google review advised me to call ahead, which I did and you should too. 15 mins ahead of time with the order I still had to wait 5 in the store, didnt bother me but something to be mindful of. I would never order something in store here unless I wanted to legit die waiting. Anyway, food was packaged nicely and the girl ringing me up was friendly. On to the food. Ordered a cheesesteak platter which was a cheessteak with 2 sides for $10 plus tax, which is a very reasonable price, impressive I would say. Chose potato salad and onion rings as my sides, but they were outta potato salad so I got macaroni salad instead. The cheesteak was respectable for the price point. A few chewy bits of steak but not enough to negatively impact the sandwich. The roll was decent but tasted like it may have sat a day or two before my meal, not stale but not super fresh. The ketchup and fried onions I requested were in good balance, so ponts there. The macaroni salad side was a C- being kind. It had no flavor and no seasoning - it honestly tasted like elbow mac rolled in Helmans mayo. Threw it out after a few bites. The onion rings were good but the oil they were cooked in tasted old. This place takes cards.

This is the funniest place I've eaten at in a long long time. Funny might not be the right word…read more Just everything about it is funny to me. I lived in Bridgeton for a few months many years ago and a local friend brought me here to eat. I finally got to return with my wife and I was so relieved to find the same little shop in the back just where I remembered it being. My memories were not fabricated after all. You go into what seems like a regular store and find a small taco shop in the back. You expect it to be empty, but many locals are here having a lunch. There is no menu and you are only greeted by a daily specials board. As you wonder about how long it's been since the specials board was updated, a boy who looks like he should be in middle school takes your order. Five or ten minutes pass and your food is ready. You paid less than you should for how much food they give you. You eat the food. The food is way better than it deserves to be and you wonder if it's just because you're in a dinky taco shop in the back of an unsuspecting market in a small town in southern New Jersey... the most random place to find a decent taco shop. But as you continue eating you realize that no, the food really is delicious. You eat tacos every week at a minimum and you know your tacos. And these tacos do not disappoint. In fact, they are great quality, large servings, and have a nice char to the meat that sets them apart from most tacos you've eaten in recent memory. Even the salsas are yummy and fit the different meats perfectly. lengua, milaneza, bistek, carnitas... Dangit I could keep writing but I've probably already lost you. If you're ever in the area... like if you're in Atlantic City and will be driving anywhere that would put you within 20 miles of this place, you absolutely owe yourself the favor of eating here. There are so many (oral) menu items I wish I could have tried, and I expect they'd all impress me just as much as those dang tacos did. My goodness what a good meal we had. I hope to return again someday.
