Once you place your order they hand you a notification device that alerts you when your order is ready for pickup. Overall I felt it was ok. We ordered (catering sizes) a half a tray of salad, a half tray of penne with vodka sauce, a half tray of gnoochi, and a half tray of chicken cutlets, which weren't on the menu but they did chicken parm without sauce for us. The salad was HUGE, fresh, and delicious. The dressing was, however, not a huge hit. Almost everyone declared it too sweet. The chicken cutlets were delicious! My favorite part of the meal. I was, however, disappointed by the presentation and the lack of cutlets for the price. (All pictures are before anyone ate.) I definitely wouldn't put so few pieces of chicken in a giant container and calling it a "half tray". It was nearly empty. The penne with vodka sauce was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved it. Sauce is amazing!!! We had a ton of it and a ton leftover. The gnoochi. This is where I was, sadly, most disappointed in this meal. It wasn't good. Gnoochi is my favorite meal. No one ate it. We had all of it left. It was undercooked to the point of inedible. Had way too much ricotta. And the sauce, it just wasn't good. I had stated in my last review that the sauce was sweet, I believe. But this time around it was so sweet it tasted like someone dumped sugar in ragu. Will I still go to The Bite, despite my disappointment in catering? Absolutely. It's delish. Will I order large meals or catering again from here? Probably not. It seems to me that they do better on a smaller scale. I still love The Bite. I was just not over the moon with my catering experience.
