I ordered Guacamole and received I don't know. Looks like pico mixed with a few pieces of avocado. Why is it watery? Why would you sell this instead of saying you don't have avacados? I'm always on the lookout for some good Mexican food and I stumbled upon this place on Yelp while I was in the area today, and decided to stop in and check it out.. happy that I did! Ordered a couple beef tacos with cilantro, onions, tomatoes & sour cream and also had some pork tamales- everything was absolutely delicious (the tortillas alone were amazing!). What was really amazing here was the flan.. Oh my goodness, this was honestly some of the best flan I've ever had. Not too sweet, not mushy; it was just right. Place was clean and staff was friendly. First time there. Very clean, very pleasant. Husband had the burrito, which was HUGE. I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, which was delicious! Our daughter had 3 of the pork tacos, which she very much enjoyed. We ordered the chicken flautas, which seemed a little drier then other places I've had them, but still good. Portion sizes were great, definitely could have left the flautas out and still had plenty to eat. We spent about 55$ (tip included) for the three of us, some may say it's a bit pricey, but I didn't think was awful. Overall, I'd say it was great, and we will be back. This authentic Mexican restaurant is the real deal. From their selection of juices and drinks, to the extensive menu, we were completely satisfied. You are greeted with a small basket of tortilla chips and three types of homemade sauces. For lunch, I had the flautas platter which comes with 5 small flautas with cheese, crema, and lettuce. Flautas come with a choice of chicken or cheese. My wife had 3 tacos al pastor. Very delicious with the standard accompaniment of cilantro and onions. They also serve breakfast all day long. I went in one time and asked for something they did not have on the menu, but I had it at another restaurant, and they made it and it was way better than the other place. Only issue I have is they only take cash, so I always have to run to the ATM before we eat there, but completely worth it!! read more

This place probably is very authentic, however there are no real vegetarian options. The waitress was very courteous and made me a vegetarian meal although you can't be sure about the rice or beans. The inside makes you feel like you are eating in a dirty cafeteria. (And it smells- not like food though- like gross) Folding tables and folding chairs are not my idea of eating out I don't care how good the food is. I love Tex Mex places like Moe's and Chipotle. This is not one of those places. You can't compare them at all. Tio's is authentic Mexican food. Excellent food and I love the spicy green salsa! It is a little pricey in my opinion. I usually spend $12-$13 for lunch. Cash only as far as I know. There can be a bit of a language barrier so I just always pay in cash. read more
