My family have been loyal customers at Franklinville Inn for many, many years. We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, military homecomings and more; this is always our go to sometimes just because. Unfortunately, this will no longer be possible for our family. My husband made a reservation for our anniversary for Thursday, 10/8 for four people for 6:15, all is well. When one of our children was able to attend he called to add an additional person, making this a table of five. Suddenly our only seating options are 4:30 or 8:30 because those are the only seating times for "large parties". Since when is a family of FIVE a large party??? Basically, we are either forced to leave work early to spend $500 (at least) for dinner or we have to spend $500 (at least) for dinner starting at my bedtime, because we chose to have 3 children rather than two? Make it make sense?! To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

You can customize every dish from mild to true Indian hot, and they nail the spice balance perfectly. We stopped in for lunch and were impressed by their excellent lunch special -- you get two entrées along with a potato samosa, garlic naan, and dessert. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The service was excellent and genuinely educational, with staff explaining dishes and preparation methods. They offer both vegetarian and non‑vegetarian options, and everything we tried was spot on. The dosa was outstanding, packed with flavor, and the goat dishes were unbelievably tender thanks to pressure cooking. They also have a tandoori oven, which adds another layer of authenticity to the menu. Overall, Rohan's delivers a delicious, welcoming, and authentic experience. Highly recommended -- we'll definitely be back for dinner.
