Lettuce, onion, tomato, peppers, oil and vinegar

Moved to the area 7 weeks ago. Been here a few times. The food is good, my husband likes the turkey, ham and American cheese. I am a vegan, zero options for me other than lettuce, tomato, onion and peppers. People are friendly, very clean, busy place. I'd gladly give 5 stars is the would offer vegan options. (Fried eggplant is not vegan)

I'm a frequent flyer at primos in Hammonton NJ and usually very satisfied with their sandwiches. I always get a chicken cutlet sandwich. Today I ordered a chicken suprimo as I have before. When I got home I was very disappointed to find they changed their chicken. It was clearly some type of premade oven baked chicken no where close to the normal chicken that is on the sandwiches. For $13 I expected the same quality as usual.

A bit over priced. Very very clean. Good food. Sell sugar soda drinks as well as high fructose sodas. The cold illys coffee bottles is a nice touch. Friendly. And... They deliver. Yeah! Agree that they are far too slow. However, this means everything is made fresh!?. Tasty. That's what counts. Don't come if your ravenous. You'll just be tortured.

Horrible service. They seem to be inconvenienced by customers coming into their store. I usually love Primo's but this one is not it.

For an appetizer we both had Jumbo lump crab cocktail (Fantastic). They brought out house salads and Bread with peppers. My wife had Chicken parm over capellini (very good gravy) and I had Seafood Tortellini (Crab, Shrimp and Asparagus). The portions were generous and the taste was amazing. For dessert, my wife had cinnamon roll churros with Vanilla ice cream and I had a Spumoni Bomba. We really love this place and can't wait to come back. The only thing that could be an issue is that the restaurant is small. We went on a Thursday around 4pm and were able to get a seat however I can see weekend nights may be an issue. Also shut out to Brody, our server! Made the experience 5 star.

The mashed potato and vegetable sides were very good but nothing special. My wife enjoyed her meal and I tasted the crab cake. It was good, but not great. I've had much better elsewhere especially for the price they were charging. They gave us two types of bread. I wasn't thrilled with the thick bread and the other was good. The salads looked good, but haven't tried them yet. A few of my friends love this place, but I haven't figured out why. Menu is too large for freshness and the prices are very high for the portions.

Was visiting family and friends in Hammonton, NJ and felt hungry...hungry for steaks...and I knew…read moreexactly what to do! I was told to check out Gio's...i'm so happy I did. I will say that this is a seasonal truck though so be sure to check if they're open for the season or closed for the season before planning your meal. We got the regular cheesesteak with American and fried onions, "The Woo" which is a buffalo chicken cheesesteak, the Taco Cheesesteak, and Dirty Fries (cheese and gravy). We also had the regular fries which were excellent too. The regular cheesesteak was very good. Good roll and a good amount of cheese. A little more char on it than I typically prefer, but it didn't affect the flavor of the steak at all. The Taco steak was really interesting because it genuinely tasted like a cheesesteak and a taco both in one. I've had mashup's like this before where it still tastes like the original thing with a hint of the other, that was not the case. I could distinctly taste all of the attributes of a cheesesteak as well as a taco. The Dirty Fries were great. Fresh cut fries that were hot and still crisp under the delicious cheese and savory gravy. I'd eat these daily if I could. A good fresh cut fry is a thing of joy, and that's exactly what these were! Now for my favorite item of the day, "The Woo". Ric Flair himself wouldn't be able to hold back from belting out a massive Woooooooooooooooooo after trying this one. The fresh and real chicken breast (no puck nonsense), solid and sturdy roll, buffalo sauce, blue cheese...it was excellent. I've had MANY chicken cheesesteaks in my life and perhaps aside from making my own, this was my favorite. A homerun...or maybe a bodyslam?! In the South Jersey area there is a new place to grab a sandwich, and I think they're here to stay. Gio's Steaks in Hammonton, NJ - Didn't Suck!
