I was super impressed by my meal at Select Pizza. It's a Pat's location, and I generally do not like Pat's, but I had been mildly curious about the restaurant ever since it opened in my hometown down the street from my old house. I was in the area this past week visiting family and it offered the perfect opportunity to check it out. I ordered a ginger ale and a side ceasar salad to start. The dressing on the salad was so good and creamy. Just a really nice flavor. Plus the lettuce was all very fresh, bright, and entirely the good bits of romaine. Big fan. For my meal, I ordered the white ricotta pizza. Originally, I planned to order the sole entree, but it turns out they took it off and made it salmon instead (meh). Our server was sad and said it had been her favorite item on the menu. Hopefully, they will update their website soon to manage customer expectations. Regardless, the white ricotta was an excellent substitute. It was shaped similarly to flatbread and it was just really tasty. I elevated the flavor by adding red pepper flakes too. My mom ordered their margherita pizza and raved about it also. Service was great, the interior was spotless and welcoming, and there's plenty of parking in their lot. One of our local favs. Love the large selection of food on the menu...something for everyone. I personally like that they have gluten free options that aren't just salads (their salads are very good though!). Easy to order online and very nice inside when choosing to eat there with outdoor seating as well. The staff is always super nice and accommodating. read more

Woohoo!! Went here on a Sunday for brunch. First time and won't be the last! The service was great, the decor was charming. We had a larger party and we split the bill into two checks, worked nicely. The combination of the guests ordered brunch & lunch. I had the chicken & waffles. Dang they were delicious- crispy chicken - crispy waffles. The sweet spicy chili syrup was on point. I ordered salads and boneless wings to eat at a nearby lake. When the hostess (I'm assuming) brought out my order I asked for utensils , she said they didn't have any. I asked how I was supposed to eat my salads, she said condescendingly"sorrrry I can cancel your order and refund your money", which I should of did because everything was pretty tasteless. BTW I got utensils at the nearby WaWa, where I should have went to in the first place. First time I went here and absolutely do not recommend it, so many better options locally read more

Great food. Friendly team. Clean. I'll keep this simple. I've ordered from here 4 times now, 3 of those I've gotten their cheese steaks... That's how good they are. As someone who's eaten at every restaurant in Township, this place was the best cheese steak. Beef is seasoned well, cheese is yummy. I recommend a fresh baguette instead of their traditional roll, but that roll isn't too bad either! Fries were crisp and hot. I had a burger there today, not the best in the area but easily top 5 for the freshness,and there are a lot of burger places. Their waitstaff is really friendly, even with their masks on I could feel the smiles! While waiting for my food no less than 3 people checked to make sure I was taken care of. After 4 years I decided to go back and give this establishment another try. The food was good and this time the service was also very good. The waitress was attentive to our table and came several times to ask us if we needed anything and how our meal was. I am glad to see they now serve you and bring you drinks! Very well done. I ordered pickup and was not disappointed, firstly to start the restaurant's interior is not what I was expecting. It had low warm lighting and a spacious center with seating around which I thought was interesting and calming (Definitely eating in house next time). Secondly the food was fantastic, which I was slightly optimistic about with a few of the other Pizza Parlors I've tried in the area. Everything tasted fresh and filling, my biggest compliment which may seem silly to others is the quality of olives they put on my pizza. I prefer that if I order a pizza with olives I can actually taste that olivey tangy bite flavor after the pizzas been baked and a lot of places fall through in that aspect. Wow. What a way to turn a positive experience into an absolutely horrible and emotionally scarring one. My family and I will never come here again. The first time I went to Select, I had a great time. Food was good, service was prompt and the establishment was clean. We had such a good time that my mom recommended it to my aunt. Two weeks later, my aunt decided to order the buffalo chicken pizza for takeout. She and her daughter picked it up and brought it home, but when they went to dig in, the pizza was super salty. They never had such salty pizza before, it wasn't even edible. My aunt then asked her daughter to phone them to explain and ask for a replacement. Right if the bat, the man was aggressive and defensive, giving her a hard time. "You're mistaken, our pizza isn't salty." "Bring it back I want to taste it for myself. There's no way it's salty." Rude customer service but whatever. The real kicker was when he brought race into it. My family's Chinese and he remembered them when they went to pick up the order. So on the phone when talking to a 16 year old girl, he said "It's not salty, maybe it's just not what you people are used to eating." ... YOU. PEOPLE. Nope, no thank you. The crazy thing is they don't even have accents!!!! My aunt has lived in the US for almost 30 years as a pharmacist and her daughter was born and raised in South Jersey. He went on to explain how buffalo chicken tastes different from other pizza like they've never had buffalo chicken before. The entire conversation was demeaning and insulting. It doesn't even matter that they agreed to switch the pizzas. Last few experiences weren't the best but consider I ordered during the height of the pandemic. I got a turkey ciabatta sandwich and there wasn't much on it. So let start this by saying that loyalty is not rewarded. My good and mine patronized this place religiously during the pandemic. We went every Friday. Today we went, today being February 25, 2023. We came in and it was a little crowded. However, they had two lager tables open. They also had this public high top area as they described it. We didn't want to sit at the high top area as the seats are higher, we are older and it's not as comfortable. So the hostess or manager or whoever it was told us can't seat at these other tables unless five people or more even though they were sitting empty. So they rather chase business away, because it will be a long time before we come here again. The point of this is they are so concerned about missing a seating of five people that they alienate what had been loyal customers. Food is decent however orders aren't always completely accurate. Several times they've forgotten cheese for fries or other sauces. This time in particular I had drove all the way home only for there to be no sauce for the wings and no cheese for the fries. I called and they delivered the sauces around 40 minutes later and at that point the wings and fries were cold. Additionally the cheese they'd sent was cold as well. Appreciated then going out of their way to deliver but at that point it was too late. Will probably stick to ordering from the Woodbury location from now on. read more

I visited this brand new beautiful restaurant on a Saturday night and wow were we impressed. They really raised the bar for pizzerias in township. From the second we walked into the door we were greeted and sat right away. The decor and ambiance were perfect. Service was top notch which I personally appreciate being I run a major hotel in NJ. The food is typical pizzeria food;however, you can tell it's fresh and made with love. Presentation of the food was even better. The owner greeting guest and checking on tables is a nice touch and what lacks in other restaurants. I live nearby and will continue to eat here. Great job and welcome to Township. read more

So far we only have tried delivery, but we've been satisfied so far. Delivery- So fast! We like that you can track them from the website so you know when they're on the way. Even on a Saturday night the delivery was super fast. French Fries- Yummy! They're our favorite. Thick cut. Wings- Ok wings but order them dry with the sauce on the side, especially for delivery. If not they come soggy and not so great. We tried once dry and once with the sauce mixed in and my husband didn't enjoy them mushy/soggy. The hot sauce is nothing special and it's thick. Cheesesteak- Pretty good, could have used a little more salt/seasoning. But I liked the seeded roll. Their packaging is pretty neat too. Not the typical foam containers. 3/5 stars for take out only. Been to this place a few times and really can't complain. All the servers I've had are friendly and helpful. The place is kept pretty clean, including bathrooms, tables, plates, or silverware. I've had the cheesesteak, pizza, chicken bites, and one of their wraps. The cheesesteak is usually good and never chewy. The chicken bites comes with a spicy sauce and your choice of another sauce on the side (I usually get BBQ). Chicken has never been chewy. I've tried the pizza twice but I'm NOT a fan. Had pepperoni and plain cheese but they're both really greasy and wet. Plus, the cheese slides right off. Two things they could fix: Prices are pretty high and the waiters and waitresses sometimes take too long to get drink or food orders. read more

I love Pats - their Chicken Avocado Wrap is my favorite! Their food is always so fresh and tastes amazing. However, tonight I got a pizza for the first time and was very disappointed. I got the roasted vegetable pizza and it was very overpriced and overdone. The goat cheese on it tasted bad too. I ended up having to order from another pizzeria for my family! Was expecting this amazing brick oven pizza. A Large Half Margherita and Half Margherita with pepperoni. Totally not what I got! Big disappointment especially after working 12 hours and looking to unwind with a glass of wine and some delicious pizza. The worst part, is that I ordered wings too. 20 wings that were supposed to be half hot, and half mango habanero. What we got were fried wings with two sauces on the side. Major disappointment! Came here for lunch and the food was so delicious. My mother and I had the all American burger and a Tuscany. The fries that came with it were hot, crispy and fresh, not greasy were you have to wipe your fingers after everyone. Same with the burger, it was prepared nicely and not soggy and dripping everywhere. The entire restaurant was spotless and the waitresses were above helpful and didn't make you feel rushed.
