Also the service year very quick I had my sandwich within five minutes of my order with the sandwich they offer free soda and they also offer free side of french fries. The reason for 4 stars and the only negative was that they changed the sesame baguette. It used to be Liscio's which everybody knows is great bread. Food: Very good Value: Excellent Service: Spotty Husband and I went around 6:00 Friday night. We didn't expect much of a crowd since it's Memorial Day wknd and only had to wait a few minutes to be seated (tables were full when we arrived though). We were offered outdoor seating, which would've been nice on a beautiful evening, but the dance music blaring from the speakers out there turned us off (and most everybody else, evidently, since those tables were empty). Please, either lower the volume or choose something easier to listen to. I'm eating dinner. I'm not at the club. Our server was friendly and courteous and gave us plenty of time to look over the extensive menu - I was sure I'd never be able to choose. I went with the chicken avocado wrap, while husband got chicken parm with penne. He asked for a side salad, which he was assured came with the meal. Is the self-serve soda machine a good idea? Maybe it would be if there was more than one. The line for drinks got a little hectic, especially since kids insist on getting their own. Sure, it's a cool thing to do, but it got messy and they take a long time as the line builds up right into the cash registers, where more people are waiting to settle their check. My food came out first. The wrap wasn't big but that was because it wasn't stuffed with lettuce, aka filler. What was in there was great - tasty chicken, fresh avocado, crispy bacon. I was extremely pleased. The fries tasted great but would've been better if they were hot. Still good, not worth mentioning at the time. Husband got his salad, meanwhile (why couldn't we get our food together? Poor timing in the kitchen?). It was a Caesar, which is their default. He doesn't like it and didn't think to ask what KIND of salad comes with the meal. He asked the food runner if he could get a regular garden salad and they seemed confused at first but obliging. Our server came over and apologized for not being clearer, which was nice. Then came his food. HUGE portion! I took a taste of the pasta - very fresh sauce, penne had a nice texture. Well done! However, the bread didn't come out with it. Not a big deal, but enough to make us roll our eyes because it seemed like things were way too mixed up. So he asked and our server brought out extra to apologize - not necessary, but much appreciated. The pesto on the bread was a nice touch. When it came time to go (we both had around half our food left), we asked for boxes. We got them, and a bag, and our check. Hmm. We didn't want dessert but never had the option of ordering. In all, the food and price were well worth it - I mean, we both got lunch out of it, too, and it was extremely tasty for a "pizza shop". So the value is there. I could chalk up the confusion with the service to it being a Friday night, but there were enough hiccups for me to remove a star. And maybe beverage machines in two locations? One on either side of the room? The place was full, so it got hairy up there. We will definitely be back, but maybe for lunch or an early dinner during the week when it's slower. read more

I grew up working in, and eventually running, my family's seasonal Pizzashop in north wildwood. My parents have successfully operated it for 42 years, because of their attentiveness to detail, commitment to quality, and their devotion to maintaining a friendly and responsible staff. These are detrimental attributes when it comes to operating a successful business in the food industry, and are just a few on a long list. The reason i mention all of this (and the sole reason for me creating a yelp profile) is bc ive yet to see their meticulousness matched by another establishment. Until now, that is. At first i thought it might just be a pleasant coincidence that everyone i spoke with on the phone when ordering delivery was super friendly and very competent, until after several more times ordering from pat's select sewell, and receiving the same friendly and helpful service on the phone that I realized its no fluke. Its simply great training of excellent people. Before i get to the food, let me just mention the fact that their delivery is ALWAYS fast, and the orders ive placed have literally never been anything but right on the money. One time a driver apologized for the wait - bc it took a whopping 35 minutes. My wife and i got a good laugh from that one. Pats select is faster than ordering Chinese delivery, and i just didnt think that was possible. Finally, ill wrap it up with the fact that the food- all of it - is phenomenal. I mean phenomenal. The truffle fries are amazing and the sauce that comes with them is a perfect complement. The wings are some of the best, if not the best ive ever had. The cheesesteaks are delicious and always cooked perfectly, the pizza and flatbreads are fantastic; namely the roasted vegetable flatbread and its balsamic glaze that makes you want to high five your mouth. I dont even like vegetables, i just tried it one night when my wife ordered one and i ended up ordering another one for myself the next day it was so good. The cheesesteak eggrolls: *flips through thesaurus* "amazeballs". The only word that can describe them. The most impressive dish i have tried from pats select was one that i was skeptical of when ordering the first time, and quickly became my go-to dinner pretty much every time: The Ahi Tuna meal. Very very fresh always, very delicious, nice size portion and the three-bean and broccoli quinoa salad is just simply perfect. I could go on and on, but what it comes down to is that this place is great. So great that i made a yelp account to write this review as a thank you for all the great service we've received and the friendliness with which we are always treated. I recommend pats select through and through to anyone looking for great food at reasonable prices, prepared by friendly, competent people, and delivered quickly & accurately to your front door. 5 out of 5 stars. Horrible customer service. I ordered a pepperoni Stromboli which is not on their menu but as someone who worked in the restaurant business for 15 years, if you have the ingredients, you make it for your customer as long as it's within reason. I think a chicken Stromboli no chicken, sub pepperoni is a reasonable request. They charged me almost $2 extra for pepperoni even though I wasn't getting chicken which is way more expensive than pepperoni. Fine, I was ok with that. Then I added extra sauce on side which they also charged me for. Received my order and there was no sauce at all. I called to ask for a credit for both the pepperoni and the sauce and the manager refused. She said she would only credit me for the sauce. I explained to her that I know the price difference between pepperoni and chicken and it's not right that they overcharge their customers like that. She still refused. I said you would rather lose my business than credit me $3?? And basically the answer was yes. I'm not asking to not pay for anything... I paid for the sauce and in my opinion, I paid for the pepperoni considering the charge for chicken, onions and peppers that I was not getting. GREEDY! I've had this issue with them in the past about mozz cheese fries. They refused to make for me. I've received sandwiches made wrong, incorrect dessert items, etc. this is the first time I've complained bc I do like their food. I also tip their drivers well because I know my house is a little far for them. They really need to do better in the customer service department. Update- they called back and left a message saying they credited me for the pepperoni and the sauce. I still will not be ordering from them in the future as I shouldn't have had to argue with them & tell them they are losing my business in order to get the credit. read more

The food is good but they can't seem to get a takeout order right. Tonight when I arrived to pick up , I was told all of the order was ready, except the sausage and spinach pie. Ten minutes later, they continue to apologize forr the wait and assure me it'll be ready any minute. I look in the oven...no pie. Never made. They had to make it, while the aandwiches sat in cardboard. It is a problem when I have to be the one to tell the staff my pie was never made. Though I did happen to find some pictures of what they offered....It didn't matter because I knew what I wanted: a Margherita pizza and some sort of an appetizer. I called and ordered my pizza and after asking how much the sante fe rolls were, which I understood to be 4.49, I ordered two of them. The bill was $35 and I nearly crapped my pants. I figured it was my first time ordering at this place so I let it slide. Got it home. wife and daughters gathered around the table. The pizza was mediocre at best, please understand I've had a lot of pizza in Italy over 40 years. So, I know delicious pizza!!! This pizza had about an 1-1/2" crust around its perimeter. It was totally, unequivocally, wet and limp. The sauce and mozzarella and basil leaves slide off the slice as it was lifted. The sauce was not so great. A lighter, fluffier sauce with more texture would have been tastier. It was "meh" at best. It cost $13.99, not such a bad price for a brick over pizza. Then we opened the Santa Fe Rolls....they cost $9.49 btw, not $4.49 like I thought I heard. (The background noise was blaring into the phone when I called the order in, so I guess I just messed up and didn't hear her good enough. My fault, I could have asked.) I digress... I opened the box-o-Sante Fe Rolls and to my surprise there were three in the box. The girl on the phone said there were two, (4 halves). They were soggy and laying in grease on the bottom of the box. They weren't cut on the bias (angled cut) which is easier for dipping. They too were droopy and soggy AF. Borderline nasty. They gave a small container of ranch as the dipping sauce. Overall, I was totally disappointed in this establishment. They're supposed to be a Select Pizzeria in a Premiere Town, The Township of WASHINGTON (08080) but they were just soggy, under-cooked, non-biased cut, dud-of-a-place. I probably won't ever go back. I seriously love this place . I have never had a bad meal here from the buffalo chicken pizza to the wraps to the burgers to the dinner special that they offer . I have not one complaint. All experiences here were great from dine in to take out . Cool story ,i came A little too soon for our takeout order (if you've ever ordered here before you know it's does take a while which I don't mind at all bc they're worth the wait) but I sat in front of the chefs station right in front of the brick oven with my 3 yr toddler so we watched the pizzas bake while we waited, then the chef brings him his own raw dough ball to knead and play with which I thought was the coolest thing ,as did my son . Then the chef even put it in the brick oven for us to watch as it baked ! I was so impressed with they're level of cx service something so simple and thoughtful gave my son and I an awesome experience all while waiting for our takeout order . And yes my son ate the whole baked dough by hisself refusing to share his masterpiece lol which was fine since we order the kids spaghetti and meatballs which he also loved . read more

I have tried their white pizza - I believe it had spinach on it, turkey burger, fries, mandarin chicken salad, and cheesesteak eggrolls (the best). Just came from Pat's Select on Ganttown Rd. It was the 5th and last time I will go. Ordered the loaded French fries when I first sat down and then ordered 10 naked mild wings. Also ordered a pizza. The pizza showed up. The server came by 3 times to see how the food was and never realized that we "did not get the fries or the wings"!! When I received the bill the fries were not on it but the wings were. I spoke to the owner Nico about it and he nonchalantly said sorry all the time the server was nearby and heard me and never said sorry herself!! I had the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak with fries last Wednesday at the restaurant and it was amazing! It was so good that I ordered it for takeout on Friday and got a different sandwich.
