So if I was just rating the food, I would give 5 stars as it was delicious. The reason for my two star rating is this...I ordered and paid for my food online at around 330pm for a 645pm pickup as I had a 5pm wedding that I was doing. Pictures after the wedding took forever and when I was leaving the church it was 645 so I called and said I was running late and I was told, we will keep your order in the warmer. I get to the restaurant at 7pm and am told they were still working on my order and it would be ready in a few minutes. Eighteen minutes later I was given my order. And to top it off as I was waiting three other folks arrived to pick up their orders. This was at 710-715 and their order were ready when they arrived at the time they were told they would be ready. Great food! Great service! I love their food presentation, the place is always clean. We also order lunch there for work from time to time, and we all like the food every time we order, my favorite for lunch is chicken avocado wrap and at the restaurant I like the penne ragu, their creamy seafood spaghetti is good too and the serving for pasta is huge. I'll probably adjust my review when they get organized because the food is delicious, but out of the 3 times I've come here on my break, I'm still not sure how to go about ordering food. There are usually a few waitresses walking around and looking aimless, not coming checking up on you when you make direct, obvious eye contact with them. There's no sign saying seat yourself although that's what you're supposed to do maybe? I'm not sure. I've had to ask if I can sit each time I walk in- not greeted by anyone. The owner(I assume?) has greeted me once and took my order immediately. Have your servers do the same. Just tried this place for the first time. It was super busy on a sat evening. The staff was so friendly. We asked to sit by the brick oven bar. We watched as the men worked so hard and so fast. I ordered the crab cakes and wow amazing. We chatted with the staff as then worked so hard and they gave us a pizza slice to try since we ordered other food and i was so amazed by the pizza and the smell. We celebrated mother's day here with 18 people. When we made a reservation the owner gladly accommodated our request for separate checks. Upon arrival we were seated quickly. I work in Sewell about once per month and I am never sure where to eat for lunch. I usually end up getting a gross pre-made thing from Starbucks. I am really happy that I tried Pats because the food is so good and I could eat here alone and read my book in peace! The lunch specials were great- for $7.99 I had a wrap with bacon, chicken and avocado and a side Cesar salad. While the meal was a great value, I would have preferred less dressing on my salad (I assumed it would have come on the side) and less dressing on the wrap because it got soggy. They have some healthy looking salads on the menu that go beyond your typical Greek or house salad. I will definitely come back to try those. The long communal seating table is a nice place to sit if you are alone! I cannot end this review without commenting on the great service I had. Someone immediately sat me and explained their lunch specials. I also had two waitresses stop by and ask if I needed anything. It was a really nice touch! I worked here for an hour I was a new person and the manager Greg hires me on the spot and tells me to come in on a Friday and then I come in on that Friday and then I start my job and I was a dishwasher and I was excited to have a job and then Greg calls me over to put my information in on the computer and then he rushes me and probably takes his anger out on me and then a person was telling him to calm down and he made me panic and didn't give me a chance. Then he tells me to come back tomorrow after my first hour. He said I will call you tomorrow and I got no call the next day and I had to called him to see what time he wanted me to come in and then he says he doesn't know me. Their food used to be amazing. Their pizzas were top notch and so were the sandwiches. They have gotten very sloppy. The pizzas are often overcooked and the mozzarella is cold. The pizzas don't even look as nice. A sandwich I used to get with a delicious yellow sauce now is very mayo tasting. It's just definitely not as good. It's a shame. Maybe the cooks changed, or they are too busy. I want the old Pat's select back and the pizzas were the same as they were instead of thrown together and overdone looking. read more

Tried this place for the first time today. There will not be a second time. I kept the order simple because I never ate there before, and they still messed it up. I ordered a simple salad for pick up. When I got home, I discovered they forgot the salad dressing. Half the salad went in the trash and the other half will go to my parrot. To make matters worse, the salad costs about three dollars more than those of similar restaurants and was about one third smaller. I did call to give them an opportunity to make it right. Food is OK. They do skimp on the pizza toppings. Lunch specials are a value, and not bad. Biggest reason for the not so great review is they struggle taking orders, and in my case, rarely get them correct. In almost every instance that I have dealt with, with both pick up and delivery, something has been wrong or forgotten. Tonight they forget the salad and feel like they are doing me a favor by crediting me $10; and they don't get the fact that I PAID for it, so they are barely giving me anything. The sandwiches and appetizers we got here were Outstanding (Coco chicken and Santa Fe egg rolls) and delicious BUT the pizza ( medium with half sausage and pepperoni). Was atrocious they have mastered the burnt soggy pie greasy on top burnt on bottom not even a crunchy burnt just what the dough picked up from the deck of the oven. We order from here at least twice a week. We love it so mic. The cheese fries are my fav. One night we order our usual and the pizza tasted funny like someone spilled to much salt on it or something. My wife and I went to dinner last night at this location. We had Drake as our server. 1st he was a pleasure to talk to and he knows exactly what he is talking about when he goes over the menu with you. He also was on top of his tables without being a pest. 2nd the food was as usual great. I had the pasta with a vodka sauce with chicken, shrimp, spinach, and either grape or cherry tomatoes in it. Was so good it was all I could do not to lick the plate..3rd the manager , I'm sorry to say I forget her name , came over to our table and asked if everything was ok. We told her we love the food , and the place. She was really nice and was on the floor working with her staff, and her customers. A good staff is hard to find. Pats is new in town, and in a competitive market with all the other pizza places around. The service is outstanding and a great concept of service from all staff. The atmosphere is outstanding albeit it is new. In my opinion, the prices were very good considering the size of portions which are very generous. The menu has a variety of choices to please even the finicky eaters. The only suggestion I would make is to lower the music just a bit. It was difficult to talk over the music. My family has eaten and received take out orders at least a dozen times. My opinion of the pizza is it's okay I prefer a thin crust crisp pizza, a little too fat at the edges. This was my second visit to Pats select in Washington Township/Turnersville I picked up my order and I left the store after confirming what it was about 5 to 7 minutes later got a call on my cell phone that they gave me the wrong order could I come back so I turn the car around and I went back without an apology or even a word spoken he took the food out of my hand and placed in the proper order in my hand I believe the owner was also there standing and just shook his head. Parent Lee they don't take names and numbers for orders they have some other system that obviously doesn't work. The food itself was fair to moderate the pizza which was medium was hardly enough for two people to eat at a price of about $14. I don't think I will be going back to Pats select. I will select another restaurant. Probably a good hang out for kids to get slices. read more
