Grilled chicken Caesar salad huge portion
    donna d.

Always enjoy coming here and it never disappoints. This evening we sat on the adorable patio. Started with soft, delicious focaccia. We split a chicken Caesar salad huge portion, perfectly seasoned grilled chicken with the right amount of dressing, croutons and shaved parm cheese. We split the special chicken parm pizza. I was only able to eat one slice I was so full. Got the chocolate mousse cheesecake special to go. Great service as well. See you again next time!

Ash and Oak recently partnered with 13th Child Brewery and we went to see the updated space of the brewery. They really added a nicer updated feel and the place was fully packed. The beer was very good just like it had been before. Once we got seated at Ash and Oak, we started with the Crab Bisque , smoked peaches and ricotta, and arancini. The crab bisque was possibly the best I ever had! The arancini was excellent and the smoked peaches with ricotta was sooo good, it was a lot better than I had expected. For our entrees, we had the shrimp with corn risotto and she had the Pork belly carbonara. Everything was excellent. We shared a small Afagato for desert and that really hit the spot. We had plenty of food to take home for leftovers , so that was a huge plus. The owner Vinny was very welcoming and friendly , and if you hadn't been there yet, you must try it! It was all great! Follow them on tik tok and Vinny usually will tell you what specials they have that week.

Great little gem in Williamstown, NJ. Open 4pm-9pm Wednesday-Saturday only. It gets packed really quick. Come early or at least an hour wait. The menu is small but everything you order will be fresh and very tasty. The pizza is Neapolitan style pizza and it was very good and tasty. We also tried the creamy crab linguine and it was delicious. Service was very good and owner very friendly. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. No reservations taken unless you have parties of 6 or more. Enjoy!

I love this place! It's easily the best Italian food and pizza in the area. The pasta is cooked to perfection--true al dente--and every flavor hits just right. The wood-fired pizzas are outstanding. No need to travel to the city for great pizza when you've got this gem nearby. The service is fast, and the staff is always friendly. The atmosphere feels warm and cozy, like stepping into a welcoming home. Definitely check it out! And shoutout to my guy Nick S--making some of the best pizzas you'll ever have.

Ash & Oak is making me miss Nicoletta's a little less... the menus are remarkably similar as are the service and ambiance. Yes, I am endorsing the restaurant - you should patronize it as soon as possible! Four of us went there last Friday night (March 14, 2025) and all in our party were very pleased with the food and service. I am assuming the Italian foods are homemade, but either way, it all tasted delicious - served hot. Thankfully, the menu is not overwhelming: you can select from 9 appetizers, 6 dinners, and a nice selection of wood-fired pizza. We shared arancini and the gnocchi trio. For dinner we had pork belly carbonara, crab & linguine, and short rib Bolognese. Mouth-watering, delicious, and fresh! We also ordered a Main St. Margherita pizza, well... just because we wanted to try their pizza. I am not usually a big fan of wood-fired pizza, but I was pleased with it and want to try the other varieties. The dinners are on the smaller side so I was glad we got appetizers. We did not try any of the desserts or coffee, so I can't comment on them. The seating area is small but not cramped. You may have to wait for a table depending on what time you get there. They make reservations only for parties of 6 or more. It was not loud, but wow, it was busy. I was glad to see many customers coming in for pickup/takeout while we were there. Being able to see the pizza oven and kitchen is a plus - I find it entertaining and don't mind the additional "noise" of a business running at max capacity. Shannon, our server, is a holdover from Nicoletta's that I recognized and her service and attitude have not suffered under new ownership. Deeply knowledgeable, attentive, and polite. Thank you, Ash & Oak, for a memorable evening and some great eats! I am always rooting for a Williamstown business that is so close to home. I will be back to see what else you have to offer me and I would recommend to everyone to go there and have a nice dinner (or just get a pizza to go lol)!

Update. We sat outside (enclosed area) on a cool night and it was comfortable with the heat lamps. Many people were sitting outside (unenclosed area) as well. Tried the meatballs which were very good. The apple skillet was yummy. I appreciated that the topping was more oatmeal and less butter and sugar. The affogato was very good too. Will try some pasta next time!

Whoever thought to put peaches on a pizza? It was very good, but a little too much crust for me. The wings were awesome..just the right amount of sauce. The only suggestion I have is timing. My boyfriend was practically finished his meal before my pizza was ready..but like I said, it was very good.

My husband and I tried out Ash and Oak last night for our date night! The food was delicious. The pasta tasted homemade and the sauce was just like my great grandmom makes yum! The menu is small but everything on it sounds amazing. It is BYOB and we brought a bottle of wine with us. The crab arancini balls were so good!! We got a fig ricotta special and it was so good and came out almost like a pizza which I've never had before. All the flavors went so well together and now I want to try some of their pizzas. For dinner my husband had the pork belly carbonara and I had the Bolognese and they were mouth watering and really yummy! The dinner portions are on the small side so we were glad we got appetizers. It is very small there so you will probably have a wait. We sat outside because it was a beautiful night so we had no wait but the chairs outside are very uncomfortable which is the only reason they lost a star. Our waitress was great! We will definitely be back to try more on the menu! We really want to try the wings and pizza.

    Rigatoni vodka WITH SAUSAGE!

What a TREAT!!! I have known Vinny & co. since their food truck days and knew the pizzas would be out of this world! Our server Shannon was so kind and helpful and made the experience in this beautiful space so memorable. Galentines dinner was huge success with BYOB mason jar chocolate martinis, the ash and oak pie, and rigatoni vodka with sausage.... Definitely add the sausage!! Sadly they were out of cannolis ): but the chocolate chip skillet cookie that Shannon recommended was straight from my dreams. So excited to see this place thrive and can't wait to head back for some more delicious bites. Thank you ash and oak!!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet - definitely worth the wait!

I grew up within 10 minutes of Palermo's but, as far as I can recall, never knew it existed before…read morerecently. I'm visiting family in New Jersey for Christmas, so it seemed like a good time to place an order with them. We opted for delivery, as my mom is sick and I'm a terrible night driver, but I would not do that again. Their online ordering system was pretty confusing. At first I landed on an online ordering menu that I don't think was the correct one as it gave zero descriptions on anything. I backed out and then clicked into the correct one. Based on the layout, I assumed I was ordering delivery direct through the restaurant rather than an outside partner, which I prefer to do. Nope. It was DoorDash. Had I realized that, I could've used a DoorDash coupon or ordered elsewhere. Instead, I spent $9.99 for a delivery fee, plus $2.99 service charge, tax, plus tip, and the order was essentially double the cost of takeout. It wasn't obvious that it was an outside partner until the tracking link was emailed. Plus the delivery driver made a stop along the way, so my food was lukewarm on arrival. Ugh. It also took an hour to be delivered compared to their website estimate of 25 minutes. Delivery aside, the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza - the sauce was perfect! The cheesesteak was also delightfully cheesy and cooked perfectly. I probably wouldn't order the tuna club again. I think I overcharged myself, as it didn't have a description so I couldn't figure out what came on it. As such, I added bacon and assumed it'd have cheese as the site referenced "substituting" cheese, so I didn't add that. Turns out - no cheese (so sad) and now bacon on two layers, so I assume they added extra. My mom had a cup of their chicken noodle soup, which she deemed "tasty." High praise from her. Since I overall enjoyed what I ordered, I'd likely go back sometime on a future visit. Though I do feel minorly ripped off by the online ordering experience so I'm more likely to try other local spots first.

Omg. Huge menu. Things u don't see on the standard "red checkered tablecloth" menu…read more Zeppoli! Seriously. No need to wait for a Street fair or San Genaro's. And it was delivered. And it was awesome. Not because it's been a while. Because here lies a lover of Zeppoli, and it was like it was handed out in a white paper bag with the oil marks and powdered sugar freshly shaken on top. There are a few things that are confusing. Pizza roll versus Stromboli. Not quite sure what the difference was (literally ordered pepperoni off each). Expected rolls similar to knots not a long thin item about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of a Stromboli. That being said, it tasted great. This is the new go to delivery Italian. After who knows how many years finally found an authentic place. The menu and The Bread. Crispy on outside and soft on inside. Can't have a good sandwich without good break. Oh my oh me did it make the chic parm rise to the level it should be.

I used to really like this place a lot. They always had a good special deal going on. They still…read moreoffer coupons and things like that in certain deals but when you offer a toast ordering system and you gain $40 worth of money towards that restaurant and all of a sudden they stop accepting it because they don't use that service anymore so of course they don't value the money you have already spent and gained with them turned me completely off so I do not order quarter as much as I want half at one time I was ordering 2 to 3 times per week that definitely has changed
